People are angry with the notion that the government is building and maintaining these military camps. Why?

Are you people ignorant to the fact that a great part of the population especially in bigger cities are out of control, violent, and on the starting line to create chaos? Too many guns, too much alcohol/drugs and lack of intelligence..

Where do you think they should put all those criminals in waiting who will unleash chaos the moment the opportunity presents itself? Ever see a bar fight or Rodney king Riot? The group mentality will warrant a shoot on site order.

Wake up people, we need more than prisons for a large amount of these 'Americans'.

Ahm... Are you completely blind to why people gets to behave like that? Do you think that prisons, medical drugs, poverty and stress helps individuals become better persons, sharing their love?

No, the fact is that the US have some of the worst prison system, privatize jails? Christ, what are those people thinking, that some people should make money on other peoples suffering ? Its just horrendous !

Their youth system is not better in anyway, children being threated like they are some animals or tools to be used in a production system. It is sickening.

Wow dude. This is very scary.. note the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery.. I guess that's what they use to work out if you'r psycho enough to guard a concentration camp.

Resettlement Specialist sounds ALOT like concentration camps...

I know it gets brought up every now and then and i know people hate it...

this whole\buying veichles and ammo, allowing drones, building Camps.... its all got a wiff of third (or fourth) Reich about it....

How much proof do you people need that the government is preparing for mass arrests?
When are you going to snap out of the drugged lethargy?
Revolutionary changes can be enacted non violently with mass participation, and peaceful determination.
The country deserve one more chance at change by the means provided in the constitution.
Should these means then be denied......................well.........
The constitution also provides remedy for that too.
All those with loved ones in service should be communicating with them and informing them of what is becomming of the country they are away from at the moment.....
They need to know what the government is going to ask them to do upon their return from overseas.....
They need time to be able to examine the reality of the situation, and discuss it among themselves.......
Everyone will be asked to make a commitment to one side or the other soon.......

Well looking at just the facts I don't see how these are any different than prisons really. The largest one only holds 8000 people, considering we have over 300 million people in the country do you honestly think they are going to build enough of these to house everyone?

We had problems just trying to detain about 100k Japanese during WWII, and it ended up being just a voluntary thing for them. We couldn't control that many people whatsoever.

Now its possible that a few of these could be constructed and use as a type of Gulag but My God, can you imagine the outcry from the public once they knew what was going on?

Look at the controversy surrounding Gitmo, which Obama tried to close, and I don't see how resettlement facilities could possibly work.

I would love for someone to explain to me what the reasons for these would be also. Anything on a massive scale will require an extreme event so that people allow them to happen. What event would that be?

AR 190-47 stipulates that U.S. military prisoners have additional standards of care given their specific rights as U.S. citizens and will be confined separately from detainees

I am interested to hear exactly what conditions you would be comfortable allowing you and your family to be confined under.

Reasons? Economic collapse or gun confiscation for starters, both of which are not that far fetched, see "Sequester" and "Gun grabbers".

It's not hard to see this is being planned, clearly evidenced by DHS purchases of 2 billion bullets and over 2 thousand armored vehicles and over 7 thousand fully automatic weapons for domestic distribution and use.

Conspiracy theory? Nope, conspiracy fact, the evidence is not only there, it's astoundingly clear and leaves little to the imagination.

I'd be interested to know in what conditions you think the government is going to round up families and put them into holding sites.

I'm not saying it isn't possible but I don't see how that would ever work. Politicians still have to answer to the voters who are probably not going to like this.

If SHTF does happen, and the cites are awash with fighting, those of us out in the countryside would do well to form up and come in from the backside and "represent" for our brothers in the city.

And what are a couple thousand trucks and a few thousand weapons going to do against 300 million people?

There going to go door to door collecting guns in your opinion? We had economic collapse in the 30's and didn't need to lock everyone up so why would we need to now?

What makes you think that this economic crisis just will go away? This could be a crisis that can't go away, simply because we are to many ! The capitalistic ideology cant continue like it have done, because we lack the resources and the debts are getting to high for most people.
