No, because the plan of Agenda 21(supported by the Elitist Club of Rome) is to control all the resources within the context of centralized One World bureaucracy. If you study Agenda 21, you will see that the primary goal is to stop consumerism and rewild all the land and stop private property ownership and put people into apartment housing, just like they did in the old Soviet Union. This is really just a renaming of the old communist plan with some pretty environmentalist green souding words and phrases to make people think they care about anything but massive control.

Now you're talking. This could very well happen since Socialism grows directly out of capitalism; it is the first form of the new society.
A new society, a new world order, I do need to look up agenda 21, seems very interesting indeed.

yah okay. Check Agenda 21 documents and then get back to me.

Transition to communism only works good on paper. Utopia. In subsequent world history, Communist states run according to Marxist-Leninist ideologies have either collapsed or gradually reformed their centrally-planned economies toward market-based economies, for example with perestroika and the dissolution of the Soviet Union, Chinese economic reform, and Đổi Mới in Vietnam.

Seems they have even more evil plans for us than that. I'd say bring it on beachees

Socialism doesn't "grow out of Capitalism", that is just the desire of socialists to make it happen. You make it sound like leaves growing on a tree as a natural progression, and that is just not true. It is only a forced mechanism, as all Totalitiarian Nanny Statism is. However, without Capital, socialism could never function at all because socialism eats the seed corn. As the saying goes, Socialists never run out of other people's money....

I agree. So are you trying to convince me that socialist states are going to stop there and not advance to communism? You are dreaming and at best that is nothing but some propaganda because all communists know that socialism is merely a stop along the way. Socialism and communism are even used interchangeably by Marx and Lenin and others in all the writings.
Redistribution of the wealth and abolition of private property are the established goals of both socialism and communism. It is just that in a socialists or fascist state some private functions are allowed to remain, but controls are put in to suck resources off the private industry through excessive and progressive taxation.

Also, liberty and freedom are curtailed in both Nanny State socialism and outright Totalitarian communism. It is only free enterprise free market economies which give liberty and freedom to citizens.

As a collective 'we' worldwide, I'm not even sure the little nuances of government styles even matter anymore, be it socialist, democracy, constitutional republic (which is what the US is supposed to be), communist, or whatever.

I think there's two political parties right now. "Controlled", and "about to be Controlled".

How does elected leader equal dictator?

When you trash the constitution and make yourself leader for life...that's how...
Hitler was appointed by elected officials..how'd that work out?

Good riddance to bad rubbish....if it's true, there still seems to be some doubt, but that's likely just to avoid a revolution or violence.

He got rid of term limits. Meaning the people would still have vote for him to be president. How does that make him leader for life?

Exaggerate much?

Personally I think that's a Cop-out and naive way of looking at things. But that's just me.

Once again you are missing the point. Chavez only introduced price controls to counter the attempts to artificially drive up food prices. A conscious attempt by the wealthy class to make food unaffordable for the poor. How can you defend this?

This isn't about economics. It's about defending the most vulnerable people in the country.

Update

On February 15, the government released four photographs of Chavez lying in a bed in Cuba with his two daughters by his side [AFP]

Aljazeera: Hugo Chavez 'fighting for his life'

Venezuela's vice president has said that President Hugo Chavez is fighting for his life while he continues to undergo treatment more than two months after his latest cancer surgery.

Vice President Nicolas Maduro said on television on Thursday that Chavez "is battling there for his health, for his life, and we're accompanying him."

The vice president has used similar phrasing in the past, saying on December 20 that Chavez "is fighting a great battle ... for his life, for his health."

Chavez has not spoken publicly since before his latest cancer operation in Cuba on December 11. He returned to Venezuela on February 18, and the government says he has been undergoing more treatment at a military hospital in Caracas.

Maduro also called for Venezuelans to keep praying for Chavez and to remain loyal to the president.

"Do you know why Comandante Chavez neglected his health and has been battling (cancer) for nearly two years?" he said. "Because he completely surrendered body and soul and forgot all his obligations to himself in order to give himself to the homeland."

Chavez, 58, himself has previously acknowledged that he was neglecting his health in recent years, often staying up late and consuming cup after cup of coffee to remain alert.

The president has undergone surgeries, chemotherapy and radiation treatments since June 2011, when he first announced his cancer diagnosis. He has not specified the type of cancer or the exact location in his pelvic region where his tumors have been removed.

On February 15, the government released four photographs of Chavez lying in a bed in Cuba with his two daughters by his side. They were the only images of him published since early December.

Re-elected in October, Chavez was scheduled to have been sworn in on January 10. But the Supreme Court said the swearing-in could be delayed.
