My post had nothing to do with Americans. It had to do with what a journalist wrote about how his policies affected Venezuela. I expected people here to defend him regardless of how his policies really affect his own country. It's just like that Donna Brazile woman who is a Democrat Obama supporter and wondered why her health insurance premiums went up after Obamacare was implemented. We could have told her... oh wait we did tell her but she wouldn't listen. She only heard the drumbeats of the Democrat Party line.

Do you want to be right so bad that you can't see the logical fallacies?
The website is just another website stating opinions, we may or may not trust the writers. The writer is Stephanie from Syracuse, USA. The second title is The Venezuelan strongman has been annoying for our country, and a lot worse for his own.
Pretty legit if you ask me
But the glow of his aura can’t obscure the country’s real problems, which include one of the highest murder rates in the world. More than 21,000 were killed in Venezuela in 2012; a further 500 were killed just in the country’s prisons. Venezuela suffered its worst prison riot in nearly two decades last month.
Despite some private international media reporting “economic chaos” and that social missions have ground to a halt with President Hugo Chavez still recovering from cancer surgery, the missions continue working. Recently there have been advances in freely available high cost medicine and the development of the social welfare programs for children and the elderly, with all education and health facilities continuing to function normally.
Of course, the most important source of Chávez's continued electoral success has been the improvements in living standards that the majority of Venezuelans have experienced over the past decade: poverty reduced by half, extreme poverty by more than 70%, unemployment cut by half, a tripling of people eligible for public pensions and vastly increased access to healthcare and education.

The Utopian propaganda does not match reality. Donna Brazile got a rude awakening, but likely she will try to blame the Republican Congress for the failures of one of the worst pieces of legislation in American history.
