Bentonite clay is excellent for all sorts of things. But there are many different types depending which chemical is the most prominent. Calcium bentonite (Fullers Earth) is the one used mainly for detox. Potassium rich bentonite is commonly known as potash which is what we use to mix into the soil.

I totally understand your feelings about not wanting to change things though Gracie....not superstition at all, just shows how well connected you are to mother nature.

'Our' Etna is ranked TWO (2) on the list. Last is Washington State's Mt. Rainier.

Though I'm not sure the list is in ranking order it's great to see my two fave volcanoes on one page!

As much as I'd like to agree with you - well, I will agree with you in the sense that of course people are not going to build something directly in the path of a known lava stream. That being said? Sure, we can make a pretty safe bet the lava will continue to flow where it's dun flown before, lol - but - you never know. You just never know. Etna's wiped out towns before. Towns that have 'been there' for centuries.

So sure, we agree - I'd just like to make sure it's stated just because she's let lava flow in one place before there's no guarantee that's where she'll flow again.

I totally understand about the jinxing thing.
You have great respect for the mountain.
And to capitalise from it would be bad karma so to say.
But I think you need to keep up with the photos,to show the world her majesty.
That is a great service to the folks of Earth.

And I would one day love a bag of magic Etna dust,I would mix it with soil for my tomatoes and chillis.
I would happily pay for postage costs through U2U comms.
