edit - also, they just said they are going to wait for the fire to makes it way down to the basement

I keep waiting for them to discover the escape tunnel that connects to the basement, unfortunately whats probably happening is hes dead inside the building that is burning around him.. I'm still hoping for the awesome escape tunnel !

Convenient... you'd think they'd want to preserve the chain of custody and the evidence. Now the conspiratorial will probably state that the body they'll eventually recover is not Dorner at all.

There isn't really much of a debate about WACO any more. The Military did set that fire at WACO and burned all those children to death. Same situation here IMO.

Yeah.. they are waiting until all sides are on fire. Not exactly sure why. Sounds kind of messed up to me. I could see holding them back if the ammo is still going off.

On Fox news they're basically already declaring him dead. One of the reporters brought up the fact that conspiracy theorists are going to question the fact that they're just letting it burn so the body won't be identifiable. The guy they're interviewing brushed it off saying "the evidence isn't important" and "there are a lot of conspiratorial aspects to every crime and you just have to ignore them".

I don't really have an opinion one way or another but this kind of reporting is definitely annoying.

I am not sure if this has been said yet; but if this guy lives and the case goes to trial, some of the LAPD corruption may come to the front and center.

they have a firefighter who was raised in the building and he advises the basement is 12 by 15
