When I saw this thread TA, it made me think of the Prophecy of the Popes. Non-Catholic here, and not a believer in Cayce or Nostradamus, which I know
some claimed wrote this Prophecy instead of St. Malachy, but it made me go hmm.
Besides, this is ATS and what is a good super volcano thread without some good prophetic conspiracy!
Speaking of prophecies . . .
Nostradamus’s Century 1, Quatrain 87
Ennosigée feu du centre de terre,
Fera trembler autour de cité neuue
Deux grâds rochers long têps feront la guerre,
Puis Arethuse rougira nouueau fleuue.
Earthshaking fire from the centre of the earth
Will cause tremors around the New City.
Two great rocks will war for a long time,
Then Arethusa will redden a new river.
The ancient Greek name for Naples, or Napoli, is Neapolis which means ‘new city.’ The two great rocks could refer to Mount Vesuvius and Mount
Etna. Arethusa, in Greek mythology, is a water nymph associated with Sicily. A red river could mean a lava flow.
Edgar Cayce didn’t mention Naples but he did mention Mount Etna.
Question: “How soon will the changes in the earth’s activity begin to be apparent?”
Cayce’s Answer: “When there is the first breaking up of some conditions in the South Sea, and those as apparent in the sinking or rising of that
that's almost opposite same, or in the Mediterranean, and the Etna area, then we may know it has begun."
