You're absolutely right. Once the fuse has been lit, no one, NO ONE, can control the Unintended Consequences.
No president, no general, no black-hearted banker can ever put the genie back into the bottle once they loose it.
Keep your head down and your powder dry.
15. Direct the Attorney General to issue a report on the availability and most effective use of new gun safety technologies and challenge the private sector to develop innovative technologies.
16. Clarify that the Affordable Care Act does not prohibit doctors asking their patients about guns in their homes.
17. Release a letter to health care providers clarifying that no federal law prohibits them from reporting threats of violence to law enforcement authorities.

So they think.
They aren't the first, nor will they be the last to make that miscalculation.
People who run frequently just die tired. People who seal themselves into ovens frequently get baked. It never fails to amaze me that they never see that coming.
Hitler thought himself safe in HIS bunker, too... right up to the day he had to eat his own bullet to keep others from feeding him theirs.
Ceaucescu, Mussolini, literally dozens or hundreds of others throughout history have thought the same thing, and though wrong. They, too, were not the first nor the last to miscalculate.

While I certainly hope for no chaos or civil disruption, if it does come, I sure hope you're right.

Let me be blunt as well. Today - specifically TODAY, 16 January 2013 - around an hour ago, I watched as a presumed President of the United States declared war upon his own people. People whine and wring their hands and say "but how could Assad declare war on his own people?" in Syria... look no further than Washington, D.C. for your answer, for this very day they have done the same to the US people.
---China, suicide nets: the 20 story factories, where they drug them and do forced abortions so by the hundreds they were jumping off to commit suicide, so they put nets there. 1 person jumps, everyone copy cats and goes up to jump, because they're there, they're drugged, they're made to work 18 hours a day. They put "help me " notes in the packages, at Apple's Foxcom factories.
Al Gores on the board, he's the one who demands they have the worst pay in China. Slave labor.

Especially the people that come to take the guns.
Too bad the toothless sheep that promote gun bans don't have to do the dirty work themselves and go door to door collecting the weapons from their owners. But, no, they will leave the dirty work to jack-booted govt thugs armed with the very weapons that they would deny us!
Grow some testicles and take the guns yourself! Make us safer....
