again with the silliness.

From your source;

Only 23% of Americans are truly pro-choice, meaning illegal in all circumstances.

Actually read it next time.

You want to argue men's rights in the matter, thats another topic. I do believe that men should has some say in it. However, just as you all like to say its the woman's problem because she got pregnant, wouldnt this fall under 'thats the mans problem, he chose to get a woman who believes in abortion pregnant?'

Yes, yes women are GOD and above the law.

Good comeback.

If it is legal, how are they above the law?

Note- I get the distinct impression that you are the victim of brainwashing by a major religious body.

Um, abortion is legal.....so what law are you referring to?

And you seem like it pisses you off that women have control over their own bodies. It's not your uterus, you have no say. You are a wannabe tyrant, like all other pro-lifers.

Thou shalt not kill! Thou shalt not murder! Help them Jesus! Oh lordy! Save they souls dear Jesus!

*hums hallelujah song while fanning myself with the good book*

I'm done taking this conversation serious. I'm using my womanly right to abort my thread. MODS! (it's a medical procedure if done by a mod)

Bottom line is this: it is no ones business why a woman chooses an abortion. Period.

I'm so very tired of people getting riled up about abortion, yet all they do is pass judgment.

As far as I'm concerned, an abortion is something that a woman must decide for herself, and it is between her and God.

Honestly, it is very easy to get on a moral high horse and decry the "slaughter of the innocents"....quite another thing entirely to actually get into the trenches and do something to help these women who have to make such a horrible decision. And, it IS a horrible decision, a difficult, painful procedure, and not one to be taken lightly.

I remember getting into it with protesters in front of a Planned Parenthood clinic when I was in college. I asked them for their viewpoint, and got their viewpoint. So I asked a woman who was obviously very worked up about it what she was doing to assist these poor confused women. She didn't understand the question. So I rephrased it: Have you opened up your home, and your wallet, to these young women, who obviously cannot afford to birth and raise a child? Have you taken them in and protected them, made sure they get educated, have childcare, have things for the baby, etc?

She then had a million excuses as to why she couldn't do any of those things, but somehow she had the time to sit in front of PP and pass judgment against those who sought to terminate their pregnancy due to their personal situations.

So typical of these people......cry and bemoan the fate of the unborn, but once they're born, they're on their own, and it's their fault for being poor.

Leave the judging to God.

I understand this is a touchy subject, but I think it's best that everyone reads the actual release from PP.

Yes, there were a ton of "abortion services" performed. It equaled to 3% of the services they provided. They also assisted in the areas of disease prevention/detection, breast cancer, contraception and other areas such as adoption referrals.

It's also important to note that the government just doesn't give PP money. These "government funds" are mostly medicaid payments made to PP because the medicaid recipient chose to use PP as their clinic for basic "woman" needs.

This issue is not very black and white, and we would be better off if we all knew the particulars of the numbers before we jump to such rash judgement.

I believe god will judge us all pretty harshly for standing by as millions of women murder their children.

Women are not above the law. And we have laws in this world that throw animals in prison that murder other people. Just because you're a woman doesn't mean you get to pick and choose when something is murder.

It is not a woman's right to murder her unborn child. How about we start making women take responsibility for their actions? Men sure have to don't they?

No one is saying abortion is a "great thing to do". Abortion is never an easy decision for a woman. Abortion is legal in the USA and it is not the business of anyone but the woman who chooses to have the abortion.

I'm pretty sure God's a lot more pissed off about us standing by as millions of innocent people, including women and children, are slaughtered by weapons and drone bombs that our taxes pay for, and we did NOTHING to stop it.

Or don't brown people in third world countries count as children in the eyes of God?

I am not a religious person, but one very important Biblical tale is very dear to my heart.

It is a story of when Jesus was asked to condemn a woman accused of adultery and labeled a whore by the scribes and Pharisees.

When Jesus was persistently pressured to stone this women... he said this:

"let he who is without sin, cast the first stone"

I try not to throw stones. I am a sinner just as all of you. God, nor Jesus, said that one sin is greater then the other.

A sin is a sin.

So God will judge you for your sins in the same manner as the women that aborts her child. You are in no better standing then she is!

Sinner!

Women are allowed BY LAW to have an abortion in the USA. Circumstances surrounding a conception are not always under the control of the woman. Remember that.
