In fact if you read the comments underneath the video the poster was asked for the flight number several times and was unable/unwilling to provide it. So I call BS...

Depends. Usually I guess? It's not necessary with the advent of LEDs, but I'm guessing the revolver is for actually indicating a specific kind of light. In this case, from a light house.

But the fact still remains that it looks like all it is, is a light on top of a hill.

That means it could be anything from a flare, to a car, to a helipad, to a building, to a hospital, to an office, to a military target, to a ufo. The options are many. To go for aliens, just because it looks cinematic, is sort of unnecessary.

It is not on a UFO on the mountain, since they were flying over the ocean. Only man made thing i could remember was Oil platform. Maybe those lights were navigation or collision lights on the platform...

Any date descrepencies can be put down to testing/rehearsal/installation.

Theres plenty of precedent for this and many youtube videos showing the blue and even pink lights.

Just once I'd like a genuine mystery and not ignorant believers without critical thinking skills.

My best guess based on the evidence at hand (or the lack thereof) is that brother flew into La Guardia on his way home to Philly, and what we are seeing in the video is on top of one of these buildings...

Why do UFOs have lights... wouldn't they try not to be detected? Good video thanks for posting.

Seems with a few Google searches, I was able to determine that blue lights are used in the marine field, for navigation lights (starboard side in place of green), and for navigation aids along the ocean. Here is one such light that happens to be solar powered (which is irrelevant for us here), but shows that a blue sea navigation light is possible.

If, on the landing track, there was an outcrop of rock, that had a blue warning light, this is what he recorded out the window. If we knew the final destination/airport where they landed this plane, then it could be investigated further in that exact area and landing flight paths near that airport.

One more thing to the naysayers who are protecting this video as if it were their first born child......UFO investigators DO look into these videos when presented with them and most have decades of experiences. I personally have ten years.

Not too many videos of interest get pass them. So if this were anything of substance like: the O'Hare UFO or the Chinese airport UFO or the countless of other videos, this will get it's due-diligence of attention.
But because this has NOT made the "OMG/WTF" rounds in the world of UFOlogy, one has to assume, this is bogus.

And to any layman who uses the minimum debunking tools put forth, you too would see this is very much most likely, a hoax.

Merkins can also be totally correct in assuming this is that Rio statue but to say that opposed to just saying it isn't a UFO, calls for too much speculation and personally, it's not worth it for me.

This is not a flying UFO captured by someone's brother (who just COULDN'T possibly keep the secret any longer ) who just happened to be filming random clouds when he stumbled on this blue mysterious object. The more I think about this (and what was written about it) the more it couldn't be anymore cheesier. The 'brother' really killed it for the video-brother and his pissed-off sounding nieces!

Yep, he only appears when he has the answers.

I've seen this color blue on a triangle craft but it was in the center of it, not on the tips. Also it looks like a TR-3B triangle craft, but the light is on top vs on the bottom, which is how I've seen them.

This doesn't make sense if it's a TR-3B type craft, unless it's flying upside down.
It is the correct Steven Speilberg blue color for the triangle crafts though.
