I don't mean everything. Very often artists draw on folklore and mythology and so there are recurring themes and motifs that resonate with people because these themes are universal. It can look as if there is some sort of occult conspiracy because of these resonances.

Especially since Star Wars, when George Lucas made it known that he used The Hero With a Thousand Faces to write Star Wars. Now everyone uses the monomyth formula and so I can see how it can indeed look as though a New Age priesthood is secretly running things. Nope it's probably just lazy writers using a little known formula and the overlooked field of comparative mythology.

I think that perhaps you should go and check the etymology of some of the words you've examined -- they have very different origins than you think they do ("cartoon", for example, is a fairly old word) The online Etymology dictionary is a fabulous(!) resource, giving origins AND the dates of the earliest sources.

And, speaking as a Witch (and one who's been a Witch since the late 1960's), the comments about witchcraft and our symbolism and beliefs really don't jive with what we Wiccans know and do. Nor is Disney overrun with Wiccans, though some of the individual artists might be.

I don't know if you know much about how the creation process goes for animation characters, but it involves literally thousands of people (cel shaders, animators themselves, screen painters, photographers, musicians, voice actors, etc, etc.) It turns out that the artist with the "phallus shaped tower" in Little Mermaid actually does NOT work for Disney (See the Snopes article, including interview with artist)

Anyway, you might find it interesting to read up on some of the artists and so forth. The stories you cite are all very common public domain folktales -- and Disney cleaned up and improved them for our modern tastes. The original "Little Mermaid" is a LOT more sexist and quite depressing, for instance.

Look at all the companies that belong to the same Corp. My definition of cartoon, made sense to me. You can argue that however, and it was pointed out to me i should take it out of my post.

I will not, as I have stated it is my personal opinion. Everyone can make up their own mind on the presented material.

Which lodge did Disney belong to? When was he initiated??? You'll never find it because it doesn't exist. Disney was a member of DeMolay as a boy but never a mason. This topic has been discussed ad nausea in the Secret Societies forum

ETA - oh, and you can't prove a negative, dearest... If Disney was never a mason, I can't very well provide proof of something he wasn't.

Doesn't make sense to me. The French definition makes more sense. Besides, witchcraft is only as evil as the person wielding it. You have an interesting, strong case...but I cannot say that it is compelling. For all we know, these are metaphors of ancient history that has been hidden from us and this is the traditional handing down of horror stories that hold a lesson for all of us. But because we never recognize its true nature, we never learn.

And the rest is just a sick joke.

Apparently, people have a hard time understanding magic for the tool that it is. A favorite analogy of mine that I like to make is guns. A gun is a tool. I can shoot you dead and commit an evil deed of murder, or I can use it to supply food and sustenance for my family. Magic works the same way, but people get caught up in the 'Magic is Evil', paradigm brought on by the influence of religion and politics.

I think she was referring to left hand path magicians, not Wiccans, but in her ignorance doesn't understand the terminology so she used a stereotypical word. At least, I am making that assumption based upon her theory that this all connected to something evil and "Luciferian".....neither of which is Wiccan in nature.

They aren't capable of realizing it though...They act like 'occult' is secret because it's devil worship. They just haven't got a clue. We can't violate free will, which is another concept few understand. You have to freely choose to accept the knowledge some of us have to give. And some, just aren't ready for it; plain and simple.

I would like to mention that the female characters of Disney movies were originally crafted of older stories made up in past eras, and the older models of women were used in the sense that in the 50's and earlier, women did stay at home more and took care of the family, before the 60's revolution of changing the role models of man and woman. So really, the earlier characters of Disney were much more traditional. If you are a younger woman, you may view this as archaic, but an older woman would view the newer characters as less traditional. Even the Little Mermaid was originally a story by Hans Christian Anderson, An original publication of Beauty and the Beast was dated 1885. That is not even this century.
It is only since the Bolshevik Revolution and Communism that the feminist appeal of women in the workplace came to be. So your analysis of this is a bit off.
Most of Disney movies portrayed a contrast between good and evil, just like every other movie in Hollywood. Granted, I think Walt Disney himself was likely a member of the I Am Movement though there is no record anywhere I have seen of him being a member or a Mason, but he definitely had an awareness of such concepts. In Pinocchio, the character of the Blue Fairy is a depiction of an Ascended Lady Master, which would be a concept prevalent in the I Am Movement. Pinocchio has to go through the trials of being led down the primrose path by the forces of evil, and he is innocent, but follows the evil. After his experiences, he realizes his mistakes, and thus he loses the Mask of the Dweller and becomes a "real boy" or he finds his Real Self in Higher Consciousness. These are deep concepts embedded in the Disney films because Walt knew of these things.
Black Magic and witchcraft is the use of inner knowledge and power for evil or for selfish purposes. White Magic is Alchemy, or the refining of the dross of base metals of human consciousness into the Gold of the HIgher Self and Christ Mind.

The later films created by people who followed Walt were not created entirely with the higher ideals in mind. Later CEO"s made Disney quite powerful and economically viable but not necessarily of higher consciousness.

I tend to presume that whatever scenario is about to play out on the 'Grand Stage', after the dust is settled, the world will make much more sense. It won't be so 'foggy'.
