I don't mean everything. Very often artists draw on folklore and mythology and so there are recurring themes and motifs that resonate with people because these themes are universal. It can look as if there is some sort of occult conspiracy because of these resonances.

Especially since Star Wars, when George Lucas made it known that he used The Hero With a Thousand Faces to write Star Wars. Now everyone uses the monomyth formula and so I can see how it can indeed look as though a New Age priesthood is secretly running things. Nope it's probably just lazy writers using a little known formula and the overlooked field of comparative mythology.

Maybe with some artists that is the case. I would have to make a whole new thread how the Illuminati has infiltrated the music industry or tried to get popular comedians entangled in their web. Jay_Z, Eminem, Lady Gaga, Dave Chapelle, Martin Lawrence..' just to name a few. This is however my personal opinion and conclusion I came to after digesting material and information.

Of course everyone needs to make up their own mind. I'm not doing the thinking for you. .

But they were done by a dominant theme. The OP is accusing that theme of being witchcraft, control, and secret societies that as far as I'm concerned have not been definitively proven to exist.

So instead I accuse the theme of being folklore, fairy tales, mythology, and mysticism. Nothing wrong with any of that, in-and-of itself.

I admit I know little of the above but have heard innuendos in the past about hidden sexual things in Walt Disney cartoons.

The thing that I notice (maybe it has always been this way but it seems more pronounced now) is a lot of songs on the radio are much more graphic about sexuality, drinking, drugs, and about dying young (wtf). These are catchy pop songs that are played on mainstream radio that a lot of kids and young teens listen too. It's as if the music industry wants your kid to start drinking up and getting down and then falling flat.

Basically, it seems innocence is the target in all these things. Which is sad. I have no issues with sexuality and personal choices on fluid/substance intake - personal choice is personal choice. But when it appears geared towards kids, who should be enjoying the innocence of life at their stage of life, it is just sad and angering.

Just a little vent...I cannot ad much to this subject as to the other one

Thank you! Yes, i have also noticed this. It seems to be normal, that for example on "Keeping up with the Kardashians" a nine (9)! year old, Kylie, dances on the pole like strippers. This is seen by a huge audience with a lot of young girls watching. Also the parents do not seem to care to exploit her in this way on National TV.

You know, how when you are sometimes busy, you just turn on Cartoon Network/Disney Channel or Nickelodeon? So the kids can watch some TV while you are busy? I was preparing a meal one day and paid attention to the cartoons. Some were so crazy, matter of fact evil, that I quickly shut the TV off and actually blocked this from my kids. Usually, especially back then, I would not have paid attention.

So why aren't people throwing fits like when the FCC went nuts over Janet Jackson's alleged wardrobe malfunction? Hi there and thanks! The first time I found about Masons, was being around the military. The talk of certain "black books", weird initiations and rituals, the people who belonged to this group.. but I was too young back then to really understand. Being born and raised in Germany, I also know some of the history regarding Secret Societies. It was only in my early 30's that I looked into symbolism some more by reading loads of material. I'm also a big Tupac fan, miss his music a lot, but I did not understand any of the meanings in his lyrics in the 90's, as I was busy, well, living my young life to the fullest.

I guess it is my nature to research things that interest me, and once you know what you are looking for, you will find answers. You will have to decide for yourself, what you will keep from the information that you receive when you look for answers, as well as the sources. Symbolic Literacy and Pattern Recognition are long lost skills.
