Start a thread on health care and I'll gladly contribute but I have no intention of derailing this thread and turning it into nothing more than a vehicle for general UK - US bickering etc.

Igorance on my part

It has been made clear to you now a number of times that the group you keep referencing with your argument that us Brits want guns back, is a tiny group with a very limited demograph of UK society. Seriously, you need to stop watching doctored YouTube clips and passing them off without question. You do realise how easy it is to manipulate opinions using a heavily edited video recording right?

But I'm sure you mentioned healthcare in this post, www.abovetopsecret.com...

I didn't realise I am only supposed to reply to posts that are directed specifically towards me?

Health care is a complex and emotive subject - just like gun control - and neither would be done justice if we were to begin discussing both in the same thread.

To all those in the US,Merry Christmas and have a good one.

Maybe we can quit argueing over things that we're prob never going to agree on.

It's beginning to sound like an athiest/christian type debate, two camps that are never gonna agree but still happy to score points.

I've said all along I wouldnt dream of telling Americans their gun laws are wrong,I don't know what it's really like in America plus those poor kids are barely cold in their graves yet.

But at the same time our gun laws DON'T make us less free or sheep. The coppers won't come to my door armed and I'm highly unlikely to ever have a gun pulled on me.Damn if guns we're easy to get over here I'm telling you every weekend would be a bloodbath,i'm not exaggerating one bit.

Once you get all the younger guys on the drink and vals they kick the s**t out each other for fun with knives, swords,i've seen them wading in with pick axes and machettes, concrete slabs

In some ways you have a point cos there is a real violent streak in our culture,in some other Europeon nations too.For any Americans who think we're meek,I grew up in the era of the Soccer Casuals n all that madness that went with it.You didnt need to be part of it just in the wrong place !!!

Nah,know exactly what would happen if we all had guns,it'd be chaos n murder !!!

I don't carry a knife either though I've had them pulled on me before, believe me I'm fully able to defend myself.

It's a different situation over here, the vast majority of the time if someone has a weapon it's because they haven't got the balls to start without one and,in my experience, the best course of action is to to take it off them and ram the pointed end up their arse.lol !!!

Again in the US guns are prevelant plus coppers have them so obviously many people feel it's the only way you can protect yourselves.

But this idea we're docile sheep, living in our cage believeing we're free, with bad teeth, subserviant.worshipping royalty etc,etc is a serious stereotype and untrue.

i can dig it but if you went to some of the rural areas like where i live you'd find out that the metropolitan areas with the concentrated population doesn't help with mental health stats. i men ghettos are the same all over the world, they suck no matter how many of them per capita. also fastbob, it's not like gang fights don't happen with guns alongside sickles, beer bottles, and melee weapons inside emptied out swimming pools. i admit though you can

Okay, maybe the Black Lettering was a glitch and I was being testy so, here is what I think about your crime rate in England..I say Bollocks to that! You live in a Police State, a country owned by Global Pirates; a country where Julian Assange is still barracked in at the Ecuadorian Embassy. I would have to go on a serious rant to list all the High Crimes committed by the British Empire and England sure as hell is not an example for the USA, let alone in a position to give us advice. The banksters in our country are all controlled out of England...the list is really terrible and long. Low crime rate? Cripes, with a camera on every corner. I have nothing against the English/British people but England is no example for anyone. I signed the petition to deport your darling Piers Morgan and this past Olympics is he first in my adult life I could not stand to watch because of what you Blokes did to it.

I just bet England wants the USA to disarm its people, just like King George wish he could have.

To all the American saying no change to the 2nd Amendment.

Surely you cant object to stricter back ground checks for criminal records and possible violent mental health issues?

Your guns wold'nt be taken away (impossible task anyway, like takeing our tea) but it would make it harder for criminals and nut cases to get a gun.

As for the state of Britain. Well I can say that the majority of us brits like our gun laws and its not a violent crime ridden cess pit like your biased news services like to report We do have our bad areas but so does the USA.

well if you consider states with less stringent gun laws like open carry, no background checks (magically no mass murders where i live) no prior felonies grants you pick of the semi auto litter. it's good sport for us and when you need to lay down suppressive fire,(hopefully never i've got my fingers crossed) choice of weapons are more personal to our style of marksmanship

Exactly what has Liz got to do with US or UK gun control laws?

Personally I find the Royal Family a quaint reminder of UK culture and heritage - if I ever thought that any of them sought to unduly influence government policy I would actively seek to ensure that they met the same fate as some of their predecessors - many of my countrymen agree with me.

It seems to me that many Americans have an obsession with our Royal Family that borders on the unhealthy.

Obsession? No. Royal Family a quaint reminder? How much does this "quaint reminder" cost you? This royal family is not involved with legislation at all? Like gun control? It seems to me that "Liz" is, at the least, an enabler. She and her family do have a controlling interest.
There are two entities known as the "Crown". One is the king's corporation, setup to do the king's business and protect the king of England from liability. The other is the "Knights Templar" (Temple) a.k.a. "Crown Templar", a secret society.

Today, if one follows the paper trail one will come to believe that it is Rule by: Crown of England, Crown Templar, and the Vatican together pulling the strings in Washington D.C. as well as utilizing the "Mob Rule" principle.

Some believe the Roman Pope is in control, but actually, the unseen, behind the scenes, "Black Pope" is the one in power; the one most people never hear about or knows exists. The other Pope is just a figure head for the people to see and relate with.
One must admire the craft of the priests, spawn of satan, [known as] Esquires, members of the Court of Saint James of the Middle Temple BAR of the Knights Templar which is headquartered in "The Crown" which is inside of the ancient walled City of London and is a sovereign nation just like the Vatican and Washington, D. C., i. e.: the triad that controls the world.

Trying to clean house here. It won't happen. The people in the US can't grasp the situation. US is not a country, it's a corporation. It's legislated into existence as a corporation.
"United States" is the "District of Columbia" incorporated.
"The United States government is a foreign corporation with respect to a State" Volume 20: Corpus Juris Sec. § 1785,
Also: NY re: Merriam 36 N.E. 505 1441 S. 0.1973, 14 L. Ed. 287

In UNITED STATES CODE, Title 28,
in Section 3002 Definitions,
it states the following:
(15) "United States" means—
(A) a Federal corporation;

US citizens/persons are not intelligent enough to grasp this. Until they do, there is nothing that can be done about cleaning our own house. They are of the mentality that believes voting will change things. That is insanity. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and over expecting different results.

Hes anything but a darling? He's a nobody, a television host who writes for the worst trash tabloids in the UK. The ones full of sports, women and 'celeb' news.

Its you Americans that seem to hold him on a pedestal. The guy carries no weight in the UK.
