These are only snippets from an in-depth article that includes a mass influx of avid UFO Alien believers who are convinced UFOs will rise out of the mountain to save mankind. Believers have been buying up property there for years, charging hideous amounts to the gullible to come for preparations to meet the Aliens.

ahem.

are we on the same thread?

Apparently not as I stated that I quoted Destiny who brought those links up. It was in reference to a place where we know a large amount of doomsdayers will be at... So I'll throw it back to you... same thread, same planet?

Hi New_Here,
Yes there seems to be panic all over the world. Just look at this headline:

"What’s This 2012 Doomsday Psychology? Millions of Chinese, Russians and Americans Believe the End of the World Is Nigh!"

Seems like a lot of people are making plans to purchase provisions and additional supplies in anticipation of something apocalyptic happening.

Here is the link to the full article:
dkmatai.tumblr.com...

I just thought this would be of interest to share, and believe it is on topic.

Warm regards

Totally is in my opinion. I read that, decent read on a sum up level. I wonder how many msm outlets will finally report on this instead of joke about it.

Regardless of whether we think something will happen or not, I think it merits real scrutiny and reporting as it is news.

I for one am sick of fiscal cliff news

Hi new_here.. i just wanted to say i've read many of your post and always like what you contribute to threads.. I
personally wasn't additionally stocking up for the Y2K thing but I do know what you mean as I was raised to be a saver and have pretty much anything on hand at any given time... (my mother raised couponing to extreme
couponing back in the 70's i'm not kidding) so when I grew up I always stock and save too.. not the the extent of
people on that show but my kids know what cabinet has all the new toothbrushes/ band-aids/ etc... lol I won't
need to stock pile or build up a pantry because I regularly keep one because it is so very convenient. If
something were to happen tomorrow I'd be pretty prepared as long as we could ride it out for awhile. My deepest
concern is that this isn't Y2K. During that time, it was only one theory that the computers would roll back and
the grid might go down for awhile... with this "Apocalypse" there are as many theories as there are people it
seems and so yes I think the majority of the people will be like... welp that was all for nothing... but there are
others who have built their lives up around this date.. years of time and money and meditation and you name it...
that is what is slightly off in this scenerio as compared to others before it.. and it is widespread.

You quoted a small part of my summation of some info from the link I posted, on another thread....having to do with the 2012 situation in an area of France. Get it right when you are attributing quotes....it was NOT the OP of this thread that said that. I did.

Take the time to read better...you appear to get confused easily.....

Very interesting article. Gave me some good ideas on things to stock up on, LoL.
Found this sentence interesting:

Russia saw people in Omutninsk — Kirov region — rushing to buy fuel and supplies after a newspaper article by a Tibetan monk confirmed the end of the world.

Wonder what the monk said?

Yeah, I knew it was a world-wide panic-topic. I just hadn't heard about the town in France.

I wouldn't worry to much about mr.stranger and his comments and replies. It appears he places great emphasis and importance in ancient Gnosticism.

For instance, he likes to espouse immanentize the eschaton! Which is perfectly fine worth understanding. It just simply means "trying to make that which belongs to the afterlife happen here and now (on Earth)" or "trying to create heaven here on Earth." All fine and dandy.

When I read his replies, which I find hilarious, because I think he is just trying to yank your chain a bit. But whenever I read his replies, I can't help but think of them being recited in the voice of Darth Vader
It just cracks me up!!

Warm regards

You are right New-Here...it's just he's giving grief to the OP here, for something I said, not the OP. If he has issues with what I said...bring it on...to me....

Ok, I hear ya. Like... the ones who are talking 'Ascension' and when they don't end up with a "New Earth" will be devastated? Yeah, I can see that. You know, we're all gonna have to be there for each other (but keep safe at the same time, eh?) Like someone posted earlier... might want to not be out driving around with the crazies out & about.

But everybody who knows somebody who is 'Looking Forward' to this New Earth time should really check in on them I guess. Call them, email them. Something. If we all did that, maybe we could work together to prevent bad things from happening to them. (Assuming Dec 22nd is just another day, of course!)

BTW Des,

Thanks for posting this YouTube video! I did watch it earlier in the thread.

Honestly, I thought it was just a little over the top and raw because of his choice in language and at times, extreme behavior. However, I did find it interesting and did understand his underlying message for people to respect other people and to be compassionate to those who may be very fragile when Dec.21st comes and goes and what they were 'expecting' to happen did not happen. I think that message of compassion was right on the mark though.

Warm regards

IA with the people here who express concern over the few of us who believe something bad, or good will happen on Dec 21! I don't personally believe anything will happen on that day, but I am also worried about those people who think something will happen, maybe they will MAKE it happen??? Thank you for this thread!

I will get a few essentials packed up and ready to go, just in case anything does happen, heck I do it every year in the beginning of Hurricane season, so I know the drill. Nah well ......... Actually we just leave during hurricane season, when a storm threatens to come our way, we go to my hubby's family's house. I think that would be a good place to be if SHTF. Maybe that will be what we do if anything occurs.

I really hope I don't wake up on Dec 22 and find out hundreds of people were killed or committed suicide!! How awful would it be for these people who have nothing to look forward to, but the end of the world.

Anyway I hope you all stay safe, and Happy Holidays, to you and yours.

Thanks for your opinion. I'll be keeping a lot of what he said in mind, while posting the 22nd. of Dec. Honestly, I didn't think about the possibility of some people having their very worlds implode, if nothing happens.

Yes, he did use some cuss words...I think he mentioned it was coming right at the beginning. My bad in not posting that with the vid.

Wow, that's pretty thought-provoking. Thanks for sharing. I did miss it earlier (haven't read every page of the thread yet.) But we all know the "I told you so" types don't we? Some people want so badly to be right, that they jump at any chance -- even if it's after-the-fact --to 'prove their worth' and feed their own egos at someone else's expense. So yeah, the "I told you so" gang is going to be another whole layer, for sure.
