I always find stories like this interesting. Although, we are talking about an inmate. Everyone in jail has got a few amazing stories; most of which are a total lie. Although, a lot of things happen while people are under the boot of the PTB.
It is also important to take into consideration that cops also lie. In fact, cops lie a lot. What ever does not make it into their `official` report of the `facts` will be considered as a lie in the eyes of the cops.

Both sides of the coin have creditability issues. The inmates want to have amazing stories to tell and come up with something to help their own situation. The cops want to put `their guy` behind bars and appear as if they make no mistakes when going after the bad guys. Naturally the cops and the inmates are going to call each other liars. So, a judgement call has to be made. Who has the most to lose by being exposed as a liar?

Well, the inmates really have nothing else to lose considering that they are already behind bars. The cops on the other hand, lose a lot if they are found out as lying or covering something up.

So, I think something happened that night in the holding cell. It would be nice if more inmates would speak up about what went down.

Ive read nothing here but the OP. All I can say is how does he know if he was programmed to kill? If the government brainwahed him doesnt that mean he wouldnt remember a thing?

He shouldnt be able to remember the incident if he was programmed to kill. At least thats my theory. Anyone want to present evidence on that?

So, has anyone found any other sources backing this claim up other than the blog the OP linked to?

I don't put too much faith in random blogs.

What 'Sleepers' are? Is that programming of mind?
Some kind of hypnosis, combined with some substances?

I don't know whether this inmate is credible or not.

But I believe that an expert in Hypnosis and NLP and Psychology could take a person;one who is easily put into a hypnotic state and is succeptable to suggestion, and with a small team could produce an MKUltra assassin within a couple of months.

Derren Brown could easily pull this off. Not saying he would (of course he wouldn't), but he is probably as capable as anyone. I think he already did the programmed Assassin on one of his shows if you look up "Derren Brown The assassin" on you-tube.

I don't see how Derren lied [sic] You wouldn't know the truth behind a lot of those things unless he wanted you to.

Derren wants you to believe that working out what he does is hard. Fact is performing a trick in a post production environment and not telling people how it was done is not hard; it's the social engineering that's the awesome bit.

Roulette: Done with blanks in a completely safe environment.
Lottery: Despite his show taunting people with 'ideas' for techniques he used to do this, it was a very basic trick.
Super powers: In his book he says NLP isn't that great. On screen it's amazing. At various times in his career he has down played his hypnosis abilities, other times he is best friends with Wolverine and hangs out with the X-men.

Derren keeps changing techniques, that's all. Some days he tells you it's a card trick, sometimes he tells you it's psychology, sometimes he tells you it's hypnosis ... He tells as much truth as he can so that when he lies you will suck it up like an industrial strength sponge in a puddle of gatorade. Good poker players often play 'honestly' most of the time, too.

However the times he does use hypnotism are certainly real... he often goes to extreme lengths to prove it too. No one can deny that hypnotism works, it's been proven countless times over and over again.

He goes to extreme lengths to make you think he has proven it.

A hundred volunteers chosen from a thousand applications filtered by non disclosure agreements and finally cut down to one person in a process that involves a secret activity that can't be broadcast due to the 1952 hypnotism act (though he would really like to be transparent!) to find one person that can be programmed to kill. Sounds like science, smells like other stuffs.

Derren is simply removing people (visibly) from his experiment to tell the others that their options are ... go home a nobody, or do what I say and be on TV and possibly be chased by zombies. Derren uses the same outs as any faux psychic:

1. It doesn't work on everyone
2. I need the right person
3. I'm not quite sure how it works
4. I like to try it on everyone in the room and use my best result

He also has a final very special out ... 'I'm Derren Brown, and I told you I lie.'

If anyone on his hypnotism shows act in a way he doesn't like (which they won't because he selected them from thousands), he simply congratulates them at being immume to hypnosis, reminds them of the massive amounts of sueing they will recieve for talking about it, and sends them home. Even if they do talk about it, they simply resisted as Derren said they would. Derren is always right.

Example: Derren Brown's Assasin. Derren hypnotises a person and tells them to 'submerge' themself in 'freezing' water. He then informs the audience that it could result in death possibly within 30 minutes and paramedics are on stand by. The expert says that 'normally' the persons heart rate will spike then start to slow down until death.

Except ... The person isn't submerged, and thus isn't freezing. Furthermore most freezing water deaths are due to exhaustion of the muscles and drowning, not from hypothermia. In this controlled situation the ice would melt before the person lost conciousness. Even if it didn't melt, they are simply not in danger for hours or more.

What Derren is good at is social engineering. In the ice segment you leave believing he managed to hypnotize someone to control their heart rate. He didn't, they didn't measure the persons heart rate until after they were in the ice bath. He convinces you that this is a dangerous situation. It isn't, it is very safe. He convinces you that ice baths are painful. They aren't, it goes numb after a few minutes (I've done it) and honestly its more uncomfy having to thaw.

Throughout all of this he befriends the skeptics. He's an Atheist, he hunts charlatans, and is 'honest' about his 'dishonesty' which is all a genius move to avoid being ostracised like Uri Gellar by the likes of the Amazing Randi or Richard Dawkins. It's money in the bank later for when he wants to go all in with a Jack / Two off suit and rake in the winnings.

Derren is awesome and entertaining. James Holmes ... it was either much more advanced (drugs and surgery) or much less advanced (a nudge in the 'right' direction ... might as well go out with a bang no?).

If all of this worked I believe hypnotism would be much wider spread in crime and social situations. There are odd isolated stories, but not what I would expect unless the media delibrately avoids reporting it?

All I can say about this is that some things are so obvious they aren't even really worth discussing. I mean did anyone REALLY doubt that this guy was an automatron? He was a near perfect candidate for these types of programs and several ties to people who would know all about this sorta twisted crap.

Makes me sick to my stomach that there are people in this world who are twisted enough to do stuff lime this. Those people are less than human. They are predators and they should be hunted as such.

That's a very good point. Most of these people either commit suicide, or try to abscond. He did neither. Why would he just stand around like a fool?

Weren't there two or three other men found with large stashes of weapons in the area -- apparently planning some violent act?

When I saw James Holmes face -- the glazed look and total dismissal of the the situation he was in after he was captured. I figured; "In a few days, he will say he has no memory of this incident." Sure enough -- that was his claim. And I didn't think he was lying.

My first thought really, was stories of the "Devil's Breath Drug" -- people who could be made to do anything suggested, but would forget about 3 days of their life. And the drug is very dangerous at these doses so it can sometimes kill the victim. An example of one Zombie Drug; Scopolamine -- can be therapeutic in low doses. Can be used for nausea or drug addiction treatment.

The background of Holmes meant he might have taken some drugs to help him study, in larger doses, it can turn people psychotic and open to suggestion.

This was on the heals of the TARP scandal, so I thought it might have been related.

The Dr. involved with treatment, however, adds a new wrinkle.

Even though there are a lot of "farfetched" conspiracies on this site which might reduce credibility -- it is quite likely that some "mind control" drug and suggestion programs like MK Ultra are active and quite successful. There is some conjecture I'd heard that a lot of the "detainees" from Afghanistan and Iraq were being used as guinea pigs by drug companies. They were testing out things that acted like "reverse" anti-depressants and could destroy a person's will. Obviously, such people would have to be restrained and force fed to keep them from suicide.

Is Holme's a test that went wrong, a "false flag" to distract the public as might be used when news stories like the TARP manipulation get too much attention, or was he merely over-abusing psychoactive drugs for school/fun? The only thing I'd lay any odds on, is that Holmes was not in his right mind at the time -- I've never seen a person look more "drugged".

That's a very good point. Most of these people either commit suicide, or try to abscond. He did neither. Why would he just stand around like a fool?

Because if he were on a drug that caused the psychotic episode -- he'd be coming down and have NO knowledge of what he just did. Either the drug wore off or there was nothing else stimulating his episode. He never planned what happened, and was either delusional or under suggestion (for what reason -- I have no clue).

I so wish the tested this man for various drugs after this incident. The public wants to believe that only crazy people can be made to spontaneously go on a killing spree -- so it's not in the Government's interest to let them think otherwise (not to be TOO conspiratorial). Any Black Ops or military would see a huge advantage for being able to quickly and easily turn an average person into a killer. However I'm pretty sure that these drugs leave a mark and the victim doesn't "return to normal" so easily. The Zombie drugs I've read about tend to make a person lose memory -- but I'm not an expert in any of this, and I haven't really investigated.

I just knew a very talented Dr. many years ago (at least 2 decades) who was recruited by some ultra national government agency (yes, here in the USA), but he turned them down. They were looking for a drug to turn someone into a killer, but not make them suicidal -- a lucid person who would be good in the military. The Doc told me that he definitely could have created a drug for them to do just that, but it went against all his principles for becoming a doctor. He told me during their conversations, they were very paranoid of eavesdropping, and when he asked why they had speaker aimed at the windows (playing two different radio shows) they explained it was because lasers could be used to turn any hard surface into a recording device (by measuring vibrations) -- that was many years before I read about such things in Popular Mechanics.

I'm way past thinking that we don't have people who would test such things on real humans in our Military or secret services. They have the motive, the means and the technology to do such things.

The ONLY question is if Holmes is a person who was given such a drug.

... anyway, I'm rambling. Just saying that Holmes "sitting there like an idiot" is the biggest evidence of him not being a crazed killer, but a victim of a drug that turns a person into one.

Like I said I'm sure there are plenty of therapists with a genuine desire to help, but it's hard to tell these days. Like any profession there are plenty of quacks that have dollar signs in mind. Moreover there are plenty of people that don't genuinely want help, but only want to be told that their problems are not their fault. They want to hear that it's not their fault so they can justify to themselves that it's okay to be a jerk because it's not their fault. So when they go see a genuine therapist who tells them that they need to work on their own problems they simply get a second opinion and dump the genuine therapist for the quack that's happy to take their money, tell them it's not their fault and dump a few drugs on them.

With schizophrenia I think a big part of the problem lies with society. People can easily become overly paranoid and fearful of their peers because quite frankly their peers do want to hurt them, but it's not that they even know it. It's easy to become paranoid in a world where 100% of the population will lie to you, will cheat you out of one thing or another. Where 100% of the population wants to use you and not even know it, want to use you and think that it's the right thing to do. Where all the ads lie, all the corporations lie, all the governments lie, all your friends lie, all your family lies, everyone's out to kill you. They simply don't realize that's what they're doing and most of the non-schizophrenic people out there simply don't realize that's what everyone else is trying to do to them.

They want your money, they want you to be their property. Make no mistake, they will lie, they will lie cheat and steal. They will lie not only to you, they will lie to themselves in order to justify. They want to kill you and they don't even know it. You see, they don't want you to be you, they want you to be them and they'll do whatever it takes to bring that to fruition and that's murder.

Am I paranoid? Perhaps, but it's not because I'm crazy, but because I'm smart enough to know they want me dead. Every last one of'em.

Edit: For the record the reason a therapist cannot heal their patients? They need to change the world, mental illness cannot be cured within the confines of society as it is.

For the record there is one person in my life that does not try to kill me. My girlfriend loves me as I love her, but that was not always the case. In the early days of our relationship I had to de-program her, get rid of all the disgusting assassination tactics she had learned from her parents and peers. She tried to control me and every time she tried I would point out exactly what she was trying to do and exactly how she was trying to do it. She had no idea, never once noticed what she was doing.

Now she loves me. She can do absolutely anything she wants without fear of emotional or physical retribution from me, likewise she allows me to be me without the fear of retribution from her. The two of us have not had a single argument in at least five years. Not even the tiniest of arguments. Sure we disagree sometimes and when that comes she goes her way and I go mine, guess what, we were both right

And no, I did not change her... I revived her.

I am reminded of a time several years ago when she and I were arrested together. We were protesting the act of eviction, we were protesting our own eviction. We simply refused to comply with orders. Before we were hauled off to jail one of the police officers turned to my girlfriend and told her that she didn't have to listen to this idiot, referring to me, and that she should just leave to avoid jail. Then I turned to her and said something. You might think I tried to convince her to stay by my side. I said "You do not have to do this with me." She said "I know, I want to."

Who are they? Why they are everyone. They are heartless cold blooded killers. They drive themselves insane. They kill with their hatred, with their ignorance, with their judgment, their ire, their impossible expectations, their refusal to accept, refusal to tolerate. They hate everyone that is not them. From the moment one is born he is beaten and tortured, judged, demeaned, broken down and reprogrammed to kill.

They hated James Holmes. They told him he was worthless. They beat him and controlled him and turned him into a monster. They killed him, they killed them. They bathe in blood. They are everyone.

I look out of my bedroom window and I see it. I see it everywhere. The flames, they rise from the streets, from every corner and every building and every house. I see people murdered in cold blood, broad daylight for all to see and watch as they cheer. Corpses litter the streets, the dead, they feed on each other. I watch and I see.

For the record the zombie apocalypse happened thousands of years ago. The dead do not know what they are.

As for me... I left their ranks years ago to follow my own light. Not a day goes by without them screeching, pounding and clawing at my door. They want me dead. They want to possess me, they want me to be a possession of theirs.
