Prozac is not a psychotropic. It's an SSRI. Completely different drugs.

I was suspicious of this event from the get-go. It is inevitable that fragments of truth will leak. We have the inept gov to count on for that. Unfortunately, the dumbed-down public will dismiss it all as crazy conspiracy theory.

Prozac is a mood stabilizer, as I stated. The person to whom I replied said it was a psychotropic. Don't attribute statements to me that I did not make.

Besides, you are wrong. Prozac, and any drug that effects brain chemistry are psychoactive/psychotropic. Maybe you meant that someone wrote that Prozac is an antipsychotic, which it is not.

Also, my point is not to sit here and categorize the different drugs the poster mentioned. My point is you cannot attribute horrific behavior to every member of a group due to the actions of one individual.

What was the purpose of your post, anyway? Do you enjoy nitpicking? If so, good for you.

Get off it.

Crazy people will always say crazy things. Now that he's looking to ride the needle, he's going to try and blame someone else. We see it everywhere now. James Holmes didn't kill those people, someone else did (by programming him). You didn't build that business, someone else did. That crackhead on the corner deserves your money, because you're successful, and it's YOUR fault that he's a crackhead. I get it. Blame someone else...it's easier.

I personally think that if we as a public ever really knew the full extent of what is possible thru hypnosis,"mindcontrol"/trauma based mind control we would collectively SHIZ our pants.
After that, we would unravel a never ending nightmare of incidents where this has been used througout history.

This goes WAAAY beyond "Mind" control.
This is "BODY" control.

This is obviously not something WE are ever meant to know is possible.
I shutter to think about the implications of something like this being used effectively.

I like Derren Brown. Is fun to watch ... but the only evidence that Derren Brown is capable of hypnotising someone to be an assassin is in his own show.

Derren has admitted to and been caught out in a number of claimed 'real' stunts. I suppose I feel it's kind of genius in a ways cos Derren acts like a educated, skeptical individual which adds credibility to when he breaks the rules. Frankly if Uri Gellar pulled the same stunt it would have no legs. Derren though? I imagine people think that 'surely, an Atheist skeptic would never lie to us!' ... which is a sentence I have trouble imagining many religious persons using but its there.

Early on Derren told a lot of lies about his techniques. Why would this have changed? His lottery episode? Camera trick with a switcher. His psychological super powers? Just card tricks. Russian Roulette? Wasn't for real. Why would any of it be now?

I don't think one can entirely rule something out with James Holmes, but I don't think Derren Brown provides any compelling evidence. I would be very interested to see what Derren would say if confronted on the topic. It could be surprising.

I agree. We only have to look at the MASSIVE affect the television has on people.
The problem is people have been led to believe that controlling another persons mind requires spinning spirals and swinging sparkly objects etc, when in reality all that is needed is a few minutes of the victims attention and some carefully chosen words. If we add trauma and drugs we get "BODY CONTROLL" as well.

Holmes was set up, this whole case stinks.

The US government IS mentally unstable.

There are way too many dots that don't join in this thing, from the start, there are so many things suggesting events other than those reported. MK Ultra is a viable possibility, as are other scenarios, such as being a patsy. Hopefully things will become more clear and the truth known.

Throw a little Devils Breath (aka scopolamine) into this DARPA recipe and you get Sirhan Sirhan, David Chapman, the guy that shot Reagan (the name escapes me) James Holmes and I suspect a few other unwitting assassins.

Maybe in the future attorneys should have a blood draw done on their clients.

This is common for schizos to think they're on a mission or getting messages from something or someone.

Hasn't this guy been kept in isolation on 24-hour suicide watch?

I'm no law expert but it's standard operating procedure to keep inmates like Holmes in isolation until their trial. So I'm not entirely buying the story of some inmate(s) having these intimate chats with him.

PS: Isolation means just that - you have zero contact with other inmates, and a guard observes you 24 hours a day.

Programmed to kill? And he realized this only after the spree? There wasnt any point of time where he had a clear mind before that? Is there anybody he confided in before the killings?

Brainwashing takes a lot of time. How would that have played out? And to what end? Do not say confiscating guns pl0x nobody in America is seriously looking at ending the very profitable private arms market.

Unless one of the victims was an assassination target.
Mass murder would be a good cover. My guess is that if
answers are to be found, they would be derived via the direction of the victims.

There isn't even video of Holmes entering the theater. That video would also show who actually did go in and possibly identify the real shooter or shooters. Holmes was found outside the theater unconscious and incoherent. He was being drugged and manipulated by someone in the months leading up to the shooting, thus the drastic changes in appearance.

it was another attempt by the feds to convince the public that guns are evil and that we should do away with the 2nd amendment. It blew back in their faces, though. Guns sales went up in colorado after the shooting
