Well Russia has announced they are sending ships to the area.
Leaving of the BSF main base Sevastopol will be held in two phases; the task unit will be finally shaped at assigned rendezvous point in the Mediterranean Sea. Under way to the Suez Canal, the warships will perform a number of combat training activities in the Mediterranean Sea. The BSF task unit will pass the Suez Canal late in Nov, and enter upon anti-piracy mission off Somalia early in Dec. Also, the ships will call at several foreign ports to replenish supplies and let crews take rest. According to deployment plan of PF and BSF task units, Russian naval mariners will counter sea piracy and maintain security of civil shipping in the Gulf of Aden and near the Horn of Africa. Anti-piracy activities of the Russian Navy's task units will be arranged in close interaction with NATO naval command directing international counter-piracy operation in the Gulf of Aden.
According to the report, the cargo may include Fajr-5 rockets, like those that were fired by Hamas toward Israel and the stockpiles of which the Israel Defense Forces depleted during the recent round of fighting across the Gaza border, in addition to Shahab-3 ballistic missiles, which could be stationed in Sudan to pose a direct threat to Israel.
“We believe that Iranian warships anchored in Eritrea will accompany the weapons ship as soon as it enters the Red Sea,” an Israeli source told the Times.

The eight-day Israeli assault on Gaza has resulted in $300 million in economic damage, a Palestinian Chamber of Commerce report concludes. The document also calls for the Gaza Strip to be recognized as an economic disaster area.
The report covered damages to the agricultural, health and social sectors. The occupied territory’s agrarian segment suffered $120 million in damage. The eight-day halt to economic activities resulted in $40 million lost. The rest of the sum comes from destroyed buildings and infrastructure that was impaired by Israeli airstrikes, Xinhua reported.
At present, BSF task force consisting of Guards missile cruiser Moskva, destroyer Smetlivy, landing ships Novocherkassk and Saratov, and auxiliary vessels has completed first stage of the long-range cruise in eastern part of the Mediterranean Sea and finished preparations for the anti-piracy mission off Somalia. The task force will be reinforced by Pacific Fleet (PF) task force in early Dec 2012. The ships finished preparations for the cruise to the Indian Ocean on Nov 24; passage of the Suez Canal is scheduled on Nov 27.
Lebanon's Hezbollah group would fire thousands of rockets into Israel in any future war and target cities in the country's heartland, the group's leader said Sunday.
"The battle with us is going to be all over occupied Palestine," the black-turbaned Nasrallah said. "From the border with Lebanon to the frontier with Jordan to the Red Sea." "The Israelis should listen well to me. From Kiryat Shemona to Eilat," Nasrallah said referring to a northern Israeli town near the border with Lebanon to the southern resort town of Eilat on the Red Sea.
