How can you be so convinced it's a hoax?

If you could view some of the uploader ADG(UK) or as he is now going by FULLDISCLOSURENOW videos on his terminated channel you would see why it could be called a hoax.

Okay. What I'm saying is you believe this guy invested "X" amount of dollars in some huge balloon and various other supplies. Then he proceeded to drive out to the middle of nowhere and launched his balloon just to freak out a few people?

Well, without wanting to sound too crass... experience.

Seen so many video's. so many claims and soooo many hoaxes.

Remember the Jerusalem video? Multiple witnesses, different angles etc. Still a hoax.

When something looks like strip lights reflected off glass, its because it usually is.

I am not saying that this couldn't be something,but when it comes down to the uploader of this video anything he posts on youtube is very questionable at best.

I have a good friend who lives there, but he's heard nothing about this. He will talk to some people later on today and let me know if anything good comes up. I did did a local article about it, saying that jets were scrambled to investigate after the sighting, giving some credibility to this maybe not just being a balloon. If the video is a hoax and is indeed a paperclip, then the guy just took the opportunity to make the video based on the sightings. The sightings in MD and KY/WV could be completely separate objects....just saying....

Terrible video but it really does look like some sort of weather balloon (I know right hehehe), they compress into all sorts of funny shapes, oblong-ish being one of them. The lights? Kinda just looks like refraction caustics through the balloon material from sunlight.

Several jets appeared to fly in the vicinity of the UFO. Contrails could be seen zigzagging all around the object. This made for much speculation by those who witnessed the strange, airborne object.

Some are made incredibly large..

They were at work, and the guy I know well and spoke with isn't a UFO chaser, in fact quite the opposite. More Scully than Mulder.....

It does not look like this episode should be discounted just based on the video. If the video is a hoax, he may have just used a still pic to make a video. That does not mean that others did not actually witness "something".
It seems there were multiple witnesses.

I wonder if this thing was moving north overnight, and could have had anything to do with the sonic boom in New Jersey this morning?

Agreed. It could only be one of a few things.

1) A free floating kite-baloon of some kind, as a hoax.

2) An unknown military or weather-baloon type object of some kind.

3) An alien probe from another world. (which is entirely plausable as well).

In what way could this be a weather balloon, collapsed or otherwise. If it is a balloon then something is taking it for draggies if it is travelling end to end horizontally across the sky as per the video, unless the film has been inverted. If it was a blown up sausage balloon then the shape would be parabolic at both ends, and bound to reflect some light from at least one end. This looks for all the world like a overgrown vortex plane, (homemade toy) made out a stiffish cellophane, basically an open cylinder, although the vortex plane is usually much shorter, with length related to the roundness...I think

Facebook was alive with people commenting on the pictures that were uploaded. It made for an interesting afternoon in and around Williamson.

Lens flare or weather balloon.

Nothing to see here, move along....

Seems like it would have to be very large to be a balloon and be seen from so far away.

And, I think the solar balloons have to be that dark color to work. A clear balloon would not heat the air as much.
