Great, less sanctions on Iran. I am 100% positive that Iran will halt all of their weapons programs and belief that Israel is the great satan. This is truly a masterful foreign policy move. Who would have thought that the only thing Iran needed to stop building toward WW3 was more trade with the US.
This is no different than all of those little concessions we got from NK until they got the bomb. Wake up, seriously. This is just laughable.

Well I think they have medium range missles. So if they could build one newk (and it's hard to say if you could put that on top of a rocket. they might not be that advanced.) But if they set off one newk in there desert for testing purposes, they would then show the world they're newklear capable and that they're not to be messed with. None of this so called invasion crap would be on the table anymore. They'd to a large degree be protected. But I guess the problem is they'd still have the sankshons. So they're damed if they do, and dammed if they don't perhaps?

I honestly do not beleive it matters what we do to Iran short of starting a war to halt them from making a nuclear weapon, its apparent they have an agenda just as the American administration has an agenda except were not trying to wipe Israel off the map. The hatred of Israel to them is so strong it will take destroying the nuclear facilies to stop them, but it also seems that if they hate Israel that bad that they could get their hands on a suitcase nuke and have someone hand deliver it. Sad Sad Situation....

I can't remember anything that has so thoroughly nauseated me as this report. From the source:

The source in Tehran said Khamenei has made it clear that unless he receives Obama’s written guarantees, he will not begin the process, which would dramatically boost Obama’s re-election chances. If the guarantees are not given, Khamenei has warned, Iran will speed up its nuclear program.

The guarantees would ensure the regime’s right to peaceful enrichment, quickly remove many of the sanctions, accept that Iran’s nuclear program does not have a military dimension and relieve international pressure on the regime while it continues its nuclear program. Also, the U.S. would announce that the killing of Iranian nuclear scientists was the work of a foreign country, though Israel would not be named, to increase legal pressure on Israel.
For a "temporary" "unverifiable" promise from Iran? The country known for breaking promises left and right?

I have at least half a dozen words to describe this, none of which are allowed by T&C. An opening for peace? HAH! Fools. I just can't type anymore, I'm sick.

Yep, this is just a tactic to keep Obama in office, which makes sense since he has already stated he will have more flexibility if he gets a second term (he stated as such to Russian President Dmitri Medvedev)

Funny how the unemployment numbers went down recently as well (and we all know those numbers are manipulated to hell and back)

I personally enjoy it when the insults start flying from the left, it shows their true agenda, shows how they react when someone disagrees with them - also gives one a hint as to what will happen when socialism gets a firm hold on power.

And people keep on saying that Obama doesn't get anything done... well that's just crazy. He has gotten more of his promises accomplished than most other U.S. Presidents in the past, and almost all of them have been positive steps for the American people.

Does Israel know about this ?

Who gives a F**K if Israel knows or not.
The fact that Obama doenst kiss Israels butts, is pretty much the only thing I like about him.

Gee, according to Iran officials they are not enriching to produce a nuclear weapon. So everybody goes ga-ga when they say they will stop? Have they ever told the truth about anything? Did France not cut a deal with Hitler to keep him from invading France? Do you really believe Iran will do anything but continue doing whatever they feel like doing? Do you not think they would tell lies to get sanctions lifted? Hello?

How can anyone even say this is a done deal? How can you say this is anything?

The agreement calls for Iran to announce a temporary halt to partial uranium enrichment after which the U.S. will remove many of its sanctions, including those on the Iranian central bank, no later than by the Iranian New Year in March.

This just screams 100% PURE BULL# - five months from now who the hell knows what could happen. This is pure propaganda to get Obama re-elected.

For the record, WND sucks as a source. This, if true, does reek of back door deals to get votes at the expense of US security.

It reeks for sure. (OCTOBER)

Doesn't mean that is won't help us out.
Tell me at what expense are we paying for this??
Could we not blow them up at any time??

Way Side Note (just now seeing Obama on john stewart...) Playing for the women's vote.. Gawd I wish we had real candidates..

Obama promises to lay off, he does, Iran then completes their nuclear program while Obama looks the other way. We now have a nuclear Iran and in a similar situation we are in with a nuclear North Korea.

Obama got his votes, now the rest of us pay.

And, how horrible did that turn out? North Korea instigated a full scale nuclear war, right?

It seems like for the last 60 years, the world has been in a massive groundhog day, replaying of events with minor adjustments.

I just hope there isn't a nuclear war before Assassin's Creed and Hitman Absolution are released
PLEASE, KILL ME AFTER I PLAY!

If true, I'm not concerned with who secured the deal or what impact it has on an election. I want all measures possible to be taken to avoid armed conflict with Iran. If true, this is one such step. I would see it as a tentatively positive development regardless of what administration or party it was tied to. My sole concern is the prevention of hostilities, and the prevention of nuclear proliferation. If this does anything at all, even marginally, to do either or both of those things, then I'm for it.

Peace.

What is so wrong with NK or Iran having a nuke? The ONLY reason anyone has one is to keep other countries from messing with them, nothing more.

Yes, so NK can keep attacking the South, keep making demands, keep saying give us food and we will be good, then going on a tirade about obliterating the South, all without fear of repurcussion. You're right, that's ideal.

Iran can openly support terrorist groups. Iran can invade their neighbors. Iran can do almost anything they want. Then if we threaten them they pull back and say stop at our borders or we will nuke Israel. Nuke SA. Nuke Turkey. You're right, that's not a problem.

I don't know what fantasy you may have, but this is all theatrics. I bet the world leaders have a poker night every Friday.

Anything pertaining to the elections is contrived crap, as are the elections themselves.

Who are we kidding? There is know way that Iran is going to stop their enrichment program. I believe their first reaction, they want to blow Israel off the face of the Earth. So, any rhetoric to the contrary is pure fiction. Just because we placed sanctions on them in the media, doesn't mean they are "working", the proximity to other like minded nations would allow them to still circumvent the "sanctions". I ,also, believe that TPTB have achieved what they want to at this point, to create distractions from other situations, that have already happened and are beginning to happen. They control the media and the content we are given. Seen anything about Fukushima, or the sink hole in LA., not much, how about all the starving children on the planet?

Really though, when it gets right down to it.....we are all on the same planet and all have a responsibility to be the very best souls we can be. Conjecture will not change the course of action, and since there are different levels of enlightenment achieved by the souls on this planet right now, all we can do is help those that cannot help themselves. Prepare yourself spiritually and do your part. Let Love guide you, do not let fear control you.
Take care.

I think this is probable...but really, who is stupid enough to trust these guys (on either side)?
A deal buys Iran more time to secretly get their nukes...and gives Obama an October surprise.
The only losers in this deal are Israel, citizens of the U.S. and everyone BUT Iran.

BTW: What happened to NOT negotiating with terrorists?

I am not an expert when it comes to the US politics, but in simple terms i can see goodness in Obama's face as i can detect evil in Romney's.I don't know why but my gut feelings are telling me that...That doesn't necessarely mean Obama is a perfect candidate but he looks and acts way less evil than Romney, and the fact that he doesn't completely suck up to Israel's every wish is very appealing to the rest of the world...So the force will be with him....If people around the world start sending him positive energies he will get reelected for sure.

Is that the sound of compromise I hear? BLASPHEMY!!!!

I don't think some of you guys get it, it is the modern day neocon GOP policy to be hawkish on War and to lead the world by being the biggest bully at school.

It is the modern day mainstream Democratic party policy to be anti-war, so the only way Obama can differentiate himself from Romney is to make a compromise deal happen (at least until he is re-elected).

We don't know if these compromises will hold or if they're a farce but diplomacy is always a good thing.

How about that!

Perhaps our President has been getting more done in the background than we give him credit for.
