Oh…BTW, people of course here are aware that it was very likely a Rosicrucian who did the Georgia Guidestones

I won't give it a flag until I see it at 71. Gave a star though, but it does deserve flags in the 100s for prob my fave ATS poster

Just realised I hadn't flagged this seven-year-old thread.

BINGO: 71 flags.

So now you're free to flag away, MM.

PS: 71 flags is still an insult to work of this quality. If only Gut had shoved the word "Lazar" or "Skinwalker" into the title, it'd be at 300+ by now.

Doh! Why didn't I think of that. Thank you very kindly, CB, and I'm glad to see you here.

Btw, I was just wanting to run this by somebody so maybe here will do. Lately when I search youtube for anything ufo related--no matter the search terms--I get overpopulated with the TTSA stuff.

For example I just I put "UFO" + "Etheric" in. It's not just the MSM and even science-based websites hitting us hard it seems to be youtube and google (parent company Alphabet...indeed lol) as well.

Here's one I'm pretty sure you'll love ManyMasks. It's a little bit challenging because Hansen digs deep across multiple disciplines--you'll be doing some googling as you work through it--but it's the freshest thing to come along in a longtime as per the overall subject matter.

The Trickster and the Paranormal by George P. Hansen

Here's his website for the book which will give something of an idea:

Seems like we are experiencing a massive rebranding of UFOs that ties them very closely to TTSA.

Let's have a good old-fashioned guess... Well, we know that TTSA want to take "ownership" of ufology (as I said elsewhere, I wonder what Rendlesham Forest will look like under new ownership when they tackle the case this Friday on 'Unidentified'), but Google searches are most likely region-related.

If I enter "UFO" into UK Google, TTSA-related stuff appears only once on the first page; the British rock band "UFO" wins the first two results, then the British 1969-70 Gerry Anderson TV series. Adding "etheric" leads to zero TTSA stuff on the first page. I haven't tried YouTube, but I imagine a similar trend.

Since TTSA is arguably an all-American phenomenon** (with, for example, "Unidentified" dropped from international localised History channels), I suppose your own Google results make sense.

However, I'm sure an ultra-smart expert will pop along soon to put us both right. Or they will already have typed a response by the time I click "REPLY", and made me look a right charlie.

** Or "experiment"

I don't think I was aware that Keyhoe was a Rosicrucian... and I thought I read all the Forbidden Science stuff... must not have. Now I need to try to dig that up.

Man I used to love Keyhoe, thanks for bringing him up. Some of the first UFO related stuff I ever read. Made me go out and pick up a copy of The Flying Saucers are Real since I don't know what ever became of mine...

Glad to see this thread is still alive, thanks GUT!

wtbengineer, it's good to see you old friend! I wasn't posting for awhile and when I came back I had lost track of some folk. I hope you are doing well.

I've been thinking about doing a thread on Vallee's Forbidden Science if I can find enough folk who want to read (or reread) the series and help research some of the nuggets he left to be found and poked at.

I think the journals are, in part, Vallee's way of making up for some of the things he did under security clearance or NDAs and also leaving some researchable clues about folk who may have misled him and us along the way as well as clues about projects and technologies we maybe haven't caught on to yet.

I would love to see a thread on Forbidden Science, and I would love to read (reread) the series. It may be that I only read the first one, I don't remember now. I do remember that you sent me the electronic copy of it though... I would think there are plenty of folks here that would like to get in on this. I am excited at the prospect of it, lets do it!

I'm a little rusty on some of this but I'll try and play catch up (and provide some links) after I get some chores done, but I seem to remember that Wilhelm Reich and Trevor Constable's work referenced Layne's to some degree?

I'm also unsure if Constable's work with infrared photography was ever "debunked," but infrared photography has produced some of, imo, the most compelling evidence to date including the recent footage from the Navy and associated with To The Stars Academy.

If these "others" do exist, I also lean towards this end of the field as holding more answers though I'm not inclined to think that any one person got it exactly right---just closer. Not so much "ships" as living beings that normally reside outside the perception of our senses.

I'm a bit rusty myself, this is my first time returning to the subject in several years, following a fall-out with Zorgon of Pegasus Research Consortium (may he rest in peace).

Yes, Reich and Constable have frequently referenced Meade Layne and Borderlands them... Here we have 3 true seekers of truth (IMO).

I was really enamoured with the work of Constable, I did look to see if his photos could be "debunked" and there were some claims of those images simply being image artifacts, however I have little to no technical expertise so I am unable to make that judgment call myself.

One thing I did read in the past was a quote from Constable warning one of his protégés that "Contactee" and "Channeled" information should not be trusted, as these were actually communications with entities from the lower (negative) astral planes... I have spent a long time now trying to find that quote again, but I cannot.. if you ever do come across that, it would be great if you could point me towards it, as it seemed to me that Constable was directly warning against some occult practices.

Wilhelm Reich was truly extraordinary in many ways, also loved his work on psychology and "character armouring".

I have only ever browsed ATS in recent years to solely read your posts, GUT. I look forward to your next thread.

FYI, I had several profound UFO sightings coming up to a decade ago now... There is certainly a mystery waiting to be solved.

To be honest, I'm behind on recent events involving TTSA, the whole affair is far too American for my British tastes, and I'm highly skeptical of their collective motives.

Are there even any true Ufologists today? Have there ever been?

My own local UFO/parapsychology group is also a bit spooky. They take UFO reports very seriously and professionally, but I'm pretty sure they peddle purposeful abduction disinformation (which also coincided with a genuine UFO flap, almost like they wanted to discredit the flap). Strange happenings indeed.

I've heard a few folk that I thought had some sense make reference to that and case studies seem to bear it out. Sometimes giving them correct information up until the last moment then making fools of them. Hansen covers a few cases like that in The Trickster & The Paranormal.

Vallee has said too that everyone he knew that had been in contact had been left pretty crazed by the experience. Seems to hold true with folk I know in rl who have various kinds of "contact." The names change, but I don't think the entities do. What I mean by that is that some call them spirit guides and some channel "aliens" etc. but I think whatever it is it's the same phenomena. I've seen a case where it seemed to play real havoc in a small community--a social circle--of like-minded folk. It was around them that I experienced some of whatever high-strangeness is and decided, yeah, it's real but it ain't for me!

FYI, I had several profound UFO sightings coming up to a decade ago now... There is certainly a mystery waiting to be solved.

I'd personally love to hear about them either here or in a private message but no worries if you want to keep them to yourself. I know that aspect can be quite personal. I've had two "sightings" that left me with a sense of wonder. One moreso than the other.

The UFO groups always seem to get infected by intelligence agencies that play bizarre games for murky purposes. There was a case in Britain back in the 70's I think that was quite interesting---strange letters and such being sent but the details escape me at the moment.

And, yeah, Zorgon...may he rest in peace. I did a little work with him back in the day--and posted some to his forum--and know he could be a tad difficult and prickly and opinionated. I didn't leave mad or nothin' I just kind of drifted away.

I do like Vallees Journals but at times its infuriating...FS4 is no different so far

He starts describing some "interesting meetings and topics" with characters like Kit & Hal and then just as you think your mind will be blown, he stops!

The next entry usually goes something like:
"had a hard day and then went to lunch with Bob Dole from Acme Investments"

I feel he should have called it "Forbidden Entrées" at times...
