ancient aliens is full of crock and bologne.

they replace God with aliens, almost all their theories are taken from the bible.

if greys created humans why are they hiding that fact. it doesn't even make sense. they should be walking around earth.

an extraterrestrial being would just be another of Gods creation, not God.

3+ hours is very long video to post, a simple summary on the key debunked parts would be nice. But I will give your thread time of day, I'll watch a little now (i dont have 3 hours to dedicate) and if its good stuff, Ill continue it later on...

Do you consider all the god talk to be a bunch of bologne too?? Not sure how people believe god, something they have never seen (just taking an old books words as fact), but when a person mentions a theory on aliens its total junk...

You have no opinions at all, just a video and a title saying "Debunked"?

You guys are really getting lazy these days.

The bigger problem is that in my opinion, the OP violates the ATS terms and conditions:

www.abovetopsecret.com...

15k.) Video links/embeds: You will not embed or Post a link to a video without a reasonable description of its content and why it interests you, is germane to the topics discussed on the Websites or the topic of an existing thread should you post it in a reply to an existing thread.
In my opinion, the OP doesn't meet this.

Regarding the debunking, I've watched several episodes of ancient aliens, and I don't recall ever seeing anything that needed debunking, since most of the claims seemed ridiculous enough at face value.

Dude this guy is trolling. Lazy too.
The purpose of creating a thread is to do the research, present it with sources, facts, and your own insight and opinions on the subject, then people can debate. You don't throw up a three hour video and tell us to watch it. Then go it's all true so no matter what you throw at me , this is where I stand because I watched a video on You Tube that tells me this is the way it is. Don't you think this subject has been discussed and debated for almost 100 years now? Hundreds of threads on this site alone, thousands of paper's hundreds of books, thousands of photographs, artifacts, scrolls, expeditions by archeologists, scientists, historians, public debates, lectures, videos, and there is still way more proof towards leaning to the conclusion that at some point our ancient ancestors acquired knowledge from a source unknown to us at present. But you have it all figured out, from watching one video.
Once again I shake my head.

As I stated HERE take 15 minutes of your time to at least sample the film.

Crying and balking at the 3 hour length gets you nowhere but looking the fool.

The film also has a companion website which goes over every point discussed, all with relevant citation and supporting documentation.

Ancient Aliens Debunked website

You can click on each topic discussed in the film to your heart's content.

As far as a summary of the video; simply every single talking point made in the Ancient Aliens series regarding the topics covered is covered and quite thoroughly explained.

Quit crying about 3 hour long movies and do some due diligence in at least sampling a section, as well as examining the points on offer at the companion website.

How am I crying?? If anything, I'm one of the few people in here who said they would give the video a chance....

Do some due diligence with atleast sampling it??? Can you read, that's exactly what I said I'd do......

I think you should change the title, to debunked FAILURE.

As you don't wish to give a summary or reasons, neither will I.

Your lucky I'm not posting every AA episode in your thread.

I'm sorry you and some others are not open to the theory, please go ahead and believe in your choice of over 1000 made-up make believe gods that come from the skies in fiery machines. Please go ahead and believe that stone-age man without writing, language or maths created buildings and monuments and we would not be able to recreate today with our 'advance technology'

Please go ahead and drink your cool-aid, your government loves you.....

Don't soil your pants and run away when the aliens do return.... just like the 'gods' say that they will.

You were the most recent crier out of a long list of criers and though quoting and replying to you, the comments were addressed to all similar posts, not just you.

Please accept my apologies if you feel you were singled out.

The comments are generalized to all the "I don't have time" balkers.

Like many of the other posters, presenting a video with no summary or views of your own makes me less likely to watch it.

I think ancient archaeology is all about interpretation. Anything found that is not readily explainable can have a myriad of interpretations as to what it is and how it got there.

I'm betting, without wasting even 15 minutes of my time, that the video is 3 hours of somebody's interpretation of archaeological findings that they say is more true than the Ancient Aliens theory.

When you as a poster bother to spend the time to explain your stance and the featured video, I will take the time to watch your video.

... and by all means don't take even a few minutes of your time to either sample a portion of the film or visit the companion website I've linked.

Well, gee whiz, Druscilla.....since the OP is coming off as lazy and not meeting the minimum requirements for starting a thread, rather than calling us criers, why don't you sum it up for him?

Surely you agree that there is a minimum requirement when it comes to starting a thread? The entire thread is derailed due to this glaring omission. Help the guy out and do his work for him.

This is a key point to the video. The AAT people don't give all te facts or twist the facts to make te assumption for AAT sound more plausible than it really is.

I think what blindlyzack is saying is that, while "Person X has debunked Ancient Aliens" might technically be a "summary," you need to provide at least a description & synopsis of, say, what evidence led to the conclusions he has drawn, and HOW he debunked it, etc.

Can you do that?

I'm not watching a three hour video either. In addition, some of us are unable to watch a video, so help us out by providing something other than: "So-and-so bebunks AAs. Watch it "

The method is simple. Take each claim made by the AAT and test them. The results? Either they are ignorant or straight up lying about the data to support the theory.

Yeah, i know the method of *how* things are actually and supposedly debunked.

In this instance, I am asking for certain examples, such as which are tested and HOW, to those of us unable ot unwilling to watch a 3 hour video.

It's really not that hard to provide a few, and most good thread offer a few to peak interest and entice people to check out the vids.

Obviously, that's a bit too difficult for you to do.

Good day.

I agree that the OP was lazy, and should have added more detail and summary, but, on the same note, perhaps you'd like to read my previous post:

Further, from the "Intro" section of the website where all the speaking points in the video are in text format:

I used to believe that the Ancient Astronaut theory was true. I spent years learning about it from the popular authors and from video presentations and radio shows. I was an enthusiastic promoter of this idea to my friends and family.

Although I no longer believe the theory, I want you to know that I have no personal reason to reject it. My current worldview could easily accommodate the existence of extra-terrestrials – even ones that visited in the ancient past.

I hope that, even if you disagree with my conclusions, you will come away from this essay believing that I reviewed the claims of Ancient Aliens with respect and without bias.

This essay is not a matter of showing you that the Ancient Aliens simply got a few details wrong, but their main premise can remain true. This, in my opinion, is not an option.

I hope to demonstrate to you that they are not wrong on just some information, but on every single point where they assert the Ancient Astronaut theory to explain evidence. I also hope to demonstrate the often deceptive means they use to convey their ideas, which includes them fabricating evidence to substantiate their points.

I would like the reader to know that, unlike many skeptics of the Ancient Astronaut theory, I concede that something unusual in the ancient past could have occurred and that there are certain consistent themes in ancient mythologies that require good explanations. But I think you will quickly see that the Ancient Astronaut theories do not explain the evidence.

I will occasionally be joined by commentary from Dr. Michael Hesier, who is one of the few scholars who has been willing to interact with the Ancient Astronaut Theory. Dr Hesier has been one of the most articulate proponents of the skeptical viewpoint of this theory and has written papers and books, as well as almost a dozen websites, on the issues we will cover in this essay. We are happy to have his input in this essay and happy to have you, the reader, here too!

I encourage you to have an open mind and enjoy.

As stated earlier, each section of the video is available for review on the companion website with links to documentation and citation.

Feel free to peruse at the disposal of your convenience.

Well your OP is minimal and that is frowned upon here on ATS, this isn't Twitter. But thanks for the heads-up on this being released
I watched a trailer on it a while back but I had forgotten about it. I started reading the sections on the website and at first glance it seems well put together, lots of references.

I added a short synopsis for all of you people. And yes the research is very thorough.
