I just watched whole interview with Ahmadinejad and Pierce Morgan on CNN

I agree with good 90% of what Ahmadinejad was saying.

Even if you assume he lied just to make himself look good and civilized,

The fact is, Iran is not an empire with bases and wars around the world. And if
they help freedom fighters "terrorists" in Occupied Palestine and occupied
Afghanistan and Occupied Iraq.

I for one can't even blame them for it, because they know they are targeted next.

Good for you. I saw part of that too. We never get to hear the "enemy" speak. The MSM always sums up what they want us to hear however they manipulate it. His words were not that of the warmonger "Bad" president they always make him out to be. I am surprised they aired it.

His country (the entire region) is facing extinction at the hands of the real empire builders. In his shoes I would be doing everything in my power to stop that. Including fighting back against any invasion of allies and my own country.

We do so love to apply double standards to how we behave and how they are expected to behave. We hold out our diplomatic fig leaf and then bomb the region to dust. What do we expect the leader of a country that is next to do?

There is no evidence that Irans nuclear program is for anything other than energy needs.
He has talked about defensive measures and informed Israel that they were ready to DEFEND themselves.
He openly asked for diolouge in the issues, and was consistent in that.
There is no "public" evidence that he has traded weapons with his neighbors.
He was a bit candid about the Rushdie (rush die) thing but I think any reasonable person would agree he was a bit frazzled by now.
He never mentioned Occupy Wallstreet.
