Yeah, I can understand what you are saying. It is considered part of your 'civic responsibility' to vote her. You just have to show up and say'no vote' and that's the end of the story. Still, I unerstand what you are saying. I don't like the word 'compulsory'.

Oh lord....this Romney guy is just downright evil. Be sure and vote Obama back in where 38% or more of your income can go to a bureaucratic system where 80% goes to the government and 20% goes to help people. You damned sure don't want to go back to the way things used to be, the way charity was supposed to be, and end up like Mitt Romney who paid 38.49% of income out between taxes and charities. On average 13.25% OF HIS INCOME was paid directly to charities. Charities tend to run 90 to 97% going toward the end person needing assistance, with the remaining 3 to 10% being to run the charity.

Nope...you wouldn't want the world running THAT way!!!! Nobody is getting a 70 to 80% cut of the pie that way...it goes straight to help people!!! OMG! NO!

www.weeklystandard.com...

Instead, let's re-elect a lying bastard who chose to portray the years he legally assisted in evicting 25,000 poor people into the frigid streets of South Chicago as practicing "civil rights law".

Let's do that instead!

I don't agree with mandatory voting. While I don't accept "not voting" as a choice for myself (I've voted in every election since I was 18 and the last two were struggles to do so....I really wanted to just "opt out" and not vote at all), I do also recognize that a person who has a conviction they cannot show their support to EITHER candidate IS casting a vote on general principles when they don't vote at all.

struggles to vote??...geez...please move to china, the middle east, southeast asia, africa...lots of those countries you won't have to worry about struggling to vote...you'll only have to worry about staying alive...i guess you want to keep it simple.

Better yet, you move. I was clear on what I meant. I struggled on the decision as to HOW to cast my vote. And I clearly stated I have never missed an election since becoming old enough to vote. If you have the same record then we're equivalent. If you have less, then shut up about me having a conscious and a true concern on what is best for my country.

You're probably staunch (fill the blank) and just vote party every time. It's not a struggle when you don't think about it. I don't want to handle the civic duty of voting in that manner.

How many times are you going to repeat this BS?

It appears to me that right now the better part of the world is ready to rain violence down on us. Here's a heads up...Romney's not in office. Apparently it doesn't have anything to do with his foreign policies. It appears to have to do with Obama's right now.

Why don't you vote for Morsi or Zardari or Shagour. They are the ones your candidate is falling all over himself apologizing to. His country is falling apart and he's apologizing to the leaders of countries that are allowing their people to violate and destroy sovereign US embassy property.

WOW...what a foreign policy leader you have there.

OMG!

Not aware that George Bush's grandfather is associated with the Nazi party?

Are there any worse associations? Seriously, does it get worse than this?

How Bush's grandfather helped Hitlers rise to power.

Maybe not. Obama is backed by Soros and we know what connection he had with the Nazi Party.

Don't you think "backed by" is something completely different than a blood relative and a history of it in the family? It makes me believe in conspiracies and a shadow government when I consider with these connections the Bush family even got near the White House.
Talk about your Manchurian Candidate! Can you say Communist Implant?
GWB was pretty much just a golfer before he was whisked through GOP version of charm school and finally became President.
Obama is not exactly what the Democrats or Liberals ordered. He is far to compliant to the wishes of the right so some on our side say he is part of the very shadow government trying to make "obedient workers" of us all. (AKA Walmart Clones)

BUT the more the right hates on him the more I become convinced that is not true.
If he were cooperating with the Plutocracy they would not be so up in arms.

If the think the moosies are upset now, just wait until we step foot in Iran! Its a no brainer that its unwinnable, and will just hasten in a Nuclear Iran!

Common sense goes a long way here!

We have been destabilizing this region for many years and making many new enemies! We did all of this, and you should remember that we have lived with Islam for millennia and that these things require someone to stir the pot!

Aggressive unwinnable war is not the answer!

P.S. 25%-50% of the GOP is disenfranchised due to the Ron Paul mess. Romney has no chance unless election fraud is used! I am sure you support this as well though, huh?

Personally friend I will die before I cast a vote for either! Obama has trampled the constitution, and well Romney is Netanyahu's puppet! Seems our choice is an anti American or a mad man!

Because he happens to be the "current" President.
Hell, people are still bitching about Bush too

Rabbi? I sense antisemitism in your posts. I also sense stupidity, but that aside, I do sense an overwhelming paranoia toward Jews.

I'm not Jewish...I'm damned sure not a Rabbi.

It is funny isn't it? Is Obama corrupt-Yes. The entire system is corrupt. The laughable part of this are the people in thread who believe electing someone running in a corrupt system will change anything.

WOW! If you can read this thread and think I'm just "unsatisfied", you can sure skip every other word while reading.

I believe the sentiment I've expressed is terror...not dissatisfaction.

From the Romney 47% video!
In an especially candid admission of how elections work in Western and Western-backed countries, Romney states that his advisors "do" elections all over the world, specifically mentioning that he has staffers who also work for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, to whom he refers by the nickname "Bibi."

Hesitant to reveal which of his campaign's employees have engineered political races "in Africa, in Israel," Romney simply tells his audience, "I'd tell them to you, but I'd have to shoot you."

So, from a transcript where he was talking about campaign staff who work on ad campaigns you were able twist it to an Israel-led plan for election fraud and Israel is going to run this country?

It's okay with me that you're not voting. I just want you to know that...I'm okay with it.

See???

freebeacon.com...

Obama couldn't possibly be in bed with the Union....no way. He's not cutting deals. He's not taking any inappropriate or unethical fiscal actions...he's staying above reproach, I'm telling you. He's NOT in ANYONE's pocket. He's just in it for the "greater good".

The committee, she said, had a “fiduciary responsibility to those who invest in our party.”

The SEIU spent more than $80 million in 2008 in support of Obama and other Democratic candidates, an investment that has reaped numerous political dividends.
