You're correct, I'm right, and arrogance is in the eye of the beholder. I think it's the epitome of arrogance to assume that you have any say over the free elections of any other nation, regardless of which nation that is. I think it's the epitome of arrogance for a newspaper in another country to start a letter writing campaign, having its readership send letters to individuals to attempt to sway their vote. I think it's the epitome of arrogance to beg for help from a nation, and then slam it when you no longer need assistance, of course, until the NEXT time your butt is in trouble....

You know what you can do with your arrogance.........

Fine post Affirmative, I agree wholeheartedly, who has the gall to claim we Americans are arrogant, while at the same time attempting to reach voters in Ohio.....all I can say is....

4 more years of President Bush are on the way.....

In that case why not just leave this thread alone? No one is making you read it.

No one's claiming they have any say in our election. I was only curious of their opinions, and they have just as much right to state their opinions as you have right to say you hate Iraq, or whatever.
Once we've become unpopular with all of the world, you can expect to be attacked much more frequently. It's your bed. You can burn in it. Or you can listen and learn, and figure out why America is losing popularity so fast. My guess is, you're not a fan of learning anything. You take offense to anyone trying to teach or show you anything.
That's the exact attitude that makes Americans unpopular. The rest of the world views us just as we view spoiled Hollywood people. That's only because people like you show so much arrogance, and don't give a $hit about others. It's all you.

Do not turn this into a debate. It's not intended to be that. I merely want the opinions of people who don't live in America. If you have a problem understanding that, I'll ask a moderator to step in.

Doesn't the enormous negative opinion of our president make you wonder? It could be that 75% of the world thinks that America is the biggest threat to world peace. This doesn't matter to you?

For the simple reason that I am a bit tired of the hypocrisy that goes on here. Had you read my posts fully, perhaps you would remember this portion...

I think it's the epitome of arrogance for a newspaper in another country to start a letter writing campaign, having its readership send letters to individuals to attempt to sway their vote.

A sickening tribute to those who actually believe they have a RIGHT to have an impact on the elections in this country. Remember, you do not...period.

If you can't take the contrary view point, tough. You guys want it your way or no way, and as soon as someone comes along and tells you something you don't want to hear, you get all defensive. Tough. Live with it....

Well, if you had taken the time to read the whole thread instead of trolling it, you would have come across this.

Well, I'm one of the 28 but the point is moot. None of us can vote in this election.

Also as has been pointed out, no one is trying to influence anything, just a discussion, not a debate. M'kay?

I'm going to ask again, politely. Please do not turn this into a debate. That's not the purpose of this thread. You can go start your own angry argument thread, if you want.

Not one bit. It's the opinion of the AMERICAN people that I care about, period...we are not a threat to world peace, we are the keepers of it. Were it not for the strength of this nation, there would be no peace. There would be two bit dictators fighting for power all over the world...

Damned

Ask a mod to step in for what reason? Because I have a differing opinion to you and others in here? So you wish to stifle my free speech? For what reason? I have done nothing to warrant a warning what so ever. If you can't handle a differing opinion that is your problem....

Fine, you've stated your opinion, and now you should be done. Leave it alone so it doesn't turn into an ugly bunch of $hit, like every other thread you participate in.
I don't want to have to wade through 40 pages of your BS to count how many non-American comments there are.

I did read your post, and there is no "trolling" going on, as you claim. Why is it that when someone with a differing opinion makes a comment, you people automatically cry "FOUL"? Why are my points considered "debate" while others are "discussion"?

Try to come down off the hypocrite train for just a few minutes please....

Nice post...it's funny that everyone who agrees with you is able to discuss as much as they wish, while someone who does not is immediately admonished by you, the "self appointed thread monitor". Why is that?

If you would come up with some decent comments instead of simply attempting to shut people up, perhaps there could be some meaningful recourse, eh????

Because, they're non-Americans. DUH!
I'm only interested in their opinions....as stated in the title.

Really, no trolling? This thread goes 4 pages without mishap, you show up and it turns "FOUL"? That's one helluva coincedence.

Ok as an irish man, honestly and truthfully, i find it very disconcerting that thats the kind of man that has his finger on a little red button that could affect us all permanently

He's got a point. You cant slam somebody down for their opinions, thats not what democracys about. If you want to express your view then at least accept that somebody else is going to have an opinion that contradicts yours.

War was outlawed by Jesus in the Bible. Therefore it is illegal in God's eyes and any warmongerer will have to face the wrath of God. How can Bush go to war and claim he is Christian? Jesus was a pacifist so God definitely does not endorse Bush' foreign policy.

What ever happened to turning the other cheek when a man slaps you? Or has the western world gone back to the days of Hebrews- tooth for a tooth, eye for an eye. If so then tell the rest of the western world to stop quoting the new testament at me if they feel that they can pick and choose what they follow.

This thread was about opinions, not about debating opinions. Also it was asked of NON AMERICANS.

You stated your opinion even though it was not asked of you. Now please leave this thread to the people that were asked.

I'm American, and I can't stand many of them, myself.
