specialasianx, i don't know how fair of an assesment that would be. there are many people in america who feel that due to the current system we have here it is impossible for anyone other than the republican or democratic candidates to get elected. for the most part that is correct, barring something spectacular and unprecendented occurring. so someone who thinks that both candidates are terrible is often likely not to vote. of course the theory of getting enough of those voters to push for someone else is possible but unlikely since the necessary mobilizations are very costly and very difficult to pull off.

This is how I feel about it too, and I'm American. Quite honestly, you may have more faith in our population than I do. I've watched America lose rights and go down the tubes all my life. We're even regulating personal safety, for crying out loud! The right to be "safe" requires that you give up most of your rights to privacy. This is what morons here don't seem to get. These guys aren't going to say, "Ok, it's safe now. You can have your rights back."

Whats funny is that most of my familly and friends plan on voting for Bush. When I bring up topics of all the bad things he has done, the response is always "Well I don't really follow the news that much". Of course not everyone is like that, but a lot of people I know are. It's kind of sad. I think in this next election it's more important than just sticking with the party you always have.

Okay, so why does the world hate us?

Because they lack good morals and judgement. Just like 50% of the American people who support Kerry!

Besides, I could care less if 50% of the American people or 80% of the world hates me and the candidate I support. They don't pay my bills!

You just confirmed, for those that hate us, the biggest reason why they hate us. Unfortunately, because of people like you, many outsiders aren't aware that we're not all selfish, arrogant pricks.
Luckily, the number that disagree with your kind is starting to become a majority. Maybe we'll be able to just deport your kind, eventually, for ruining our nation.

Thank you! It feels so damn good to know I'm not the only one who gets it. I feel like a misfit in this world, because I seem to be more observant of emotional values, while others just don't seem to care. I love it when someone confirms that I'm not the one who's crazy.

Because a man is speaking in the name of a country and that man is speaking in the name of God and that man has observe none of the ten commandments, this means hell for him, and is too rich to go to heaven anyway.

But I do belive that Bush wants Kerry to win. It will change nothing in the power of the Bush and Co who owns financially and direct many things just like CIA and UN. W sold a war to America, this war has to continue to get them richer and powerfull, and they want now Kerry to be the uncompetent president. This will save the face of W who did everything to be such a good for nothing, making such a war able to happen.
If W stay, he will have to build back Iraq, and this is not good for his job of oil and weapons seller.
If Kerry is elected and the war to continue in caos, it is very good for the statue of W and the future of his actions. If W is reelected and continue his caos, it's gonna be a civil war in US.

Anakin Sky Walker-Bush is of the dark side of the force. Juste like his grand father prescott Bush who financed Hitler and Auschwitz (only that!!)

Marg666! You became an old ladie for a few days. I prefer the youger ones ;-)

I do often wonder if the whole Dem/Rep battle is just BS. I mean, what if they really don't care who wins, and it's just an act? What if it's a set up? How would anyone really know? After all, they provide the candidates. We don't really choose them. It would be so easy for a candidate to purposely lose an election.

Well heck Damned,

If you can figure that much out, it proves that you're at the very least, not nearly as sheepish as some who "buy" right into it.

Good job, and keep questioning!

Ugh, I'm sick of hearing this.

Not EVERYONE hates America. Not EVERYONE hates Bush. It's simply not true.

Now, you need to check your sources. How can you have France as a valid source when they lied to the international public, as well?

"We don't want you to invade Iraq because that is evil. we are the good guys Mr. UN!"

Yeah, well they forgot to tell you that Saddam owed them a mass amount of money - equaling around $32 BILLION DOLLARS. No wonder they didn't want us to invade.

We invade >> Saddam loses Power >> That $32 billion? Right out the window, like it never happened.

That's the truth. Look it up yourself if you are desperate to know.

DUH!! Every one of my friend here in America hate bush, stupid ****ed up war in Iraq. Every month after the next more death tallies are rising, and he's getting his info from the Omega agency and caters more to them since he's a son of George W. Bush, which is in the executive office of the shadow government, and once previous director of the CIA. I really hope John Kerry wins right now, we need him to help everything. Should I post my essay on why I think George W. Bush should be out of office by now, I can if you want.

Also, I've read the constitution and I can conclude that he should be impeached, since he has given aid to enemies (terrorists), and that's listed as an ability for the Senate to try for treason. STUPID BUSH! While there's the common misconception that we're in it for oil; it's impossible due to the fact that you can't transport oil without a pipeline, and our gas prices are still over $2.00 and we're still in a steep increase, plus barrels are $40, and aren't we in the world's most high prospect for Oil, Iraq? there are so many things that Bush is doing wrong it's unbelievable.

I love the Republicans excuses, though

This is true. Didn't we give Afghanistan $43 million about a month before we were attacked? What the hell is that all about? Why are we giving them anything, at all in the first place? We gave them more money than anyone else in the entire world. $125 million in one year?! Arguably, we may have funded our own attack.

They also hate Americans who support Bush....those who have the, "We are the great superpower, policemen of the world, and everyone else can fu*k off if they don't agree.", attitude. That's what's killing America's reputation.

politicians answer only to bueracrats(sp?). do you ever here them spew anything that is not pure fantasy? they forsee an optimistic future when our society has been in a steep decline for as long as i can remember. regardless of who is elected there will be manufactured(fueling anomosity with privatized contract security ventures also counts) terror as a cause for more bloodshed and extreme hikes in military spending to protect our assets from overseas threats while we are all huddled safely around the TV screens and willfully ingest all that is generalized media. not a single ratoinal deduction of our reality will cross through the general populations thought. for every facet of government will pour efforts into maintaining a believable fiction for our controlled intake. rest assure our military will gladly slaughter all on the opposing spectrum.

have a great day!
