Iran hasn't had a full ambassador in Canada since 2007, following a breakdown in relations after Iranian-Canadian photographer Zahra Kazemi was tortured and killed in Iran in 2003.

I don't think everyone at the UN agrees and although the concept of the UN is ideal, I have less and less faith in them as time goes on. The western nations have more pull than any other represented country. If the UN is supposed to be a true representation of the member states, then all member states should be represented equally.

Nah, chances are the US notified Canada secretly that war is coming soon, so Canada took the wise move and pulled out its people to avoid the coming chaos.
It costs money to close and reopen embassies, so its a big step to take, and must mean something is happening behind the scenes that we're not privy to yet.
I guess we'll hear about it soon. The US likes to invade when its "cool temps" so the soldiers don't have to sweat a lot. That means invasion is certain this winter.
