NARCAP's Haines in CE-5 has one case of mechanical gyros (not electronic) in a plane being deflected towards a UFO causing the plane to veer towards it.
Carl Feindt (waterufo.net) cites cases of mounds of water piling up under craft close to the water.
There are also some cases of light beams bending toward UFOs.
These cases indicate forces stronger than the electromagnetic. Robert Schroeder's book on solving the ufo enigma has some other interesting examples. He makes a case for ('some', my emphasis) UFOs using micro black holes to partially slip into a macro 5th dimension rendering interstellar distances to mere miles instead of light years.
"Each time it did so, they experienced strong radio interference as the UFO emitted a red beam of light that swept the area and illuminated the ground. "The object was capable of moving in any direction. Up and down, back and forth ..

But if my speculation is close, that is...assuming --- that there are two opposing electromagnetic fields that accompany a starship. Should it be also close to assume: that said starship, should have anti-gravitational properties, due to the two opposing magnetic bubble fields; surrounding the starship --- while the starship itself having a same or different polarity charge than either of the two magnetic fields.

What if the EME isnt actually interfering with the electrical circuits as such, but actually Sucking the electricity from the machinery momentarily as it passes.

"The little ones were the same shape as the big UFO and they also had these two small lights on either side with blue light coming out of them. Each of the little ones was shining a light blue light on the metal towers near them and the entire towers were glowing blue,” Pecha said. "But inside those shafts of blue light was a darker, jerky stream of blue light that seemed to be flowing toward the UFOs, as if they were drawing electricity from the wires."

Another case where there seems a UFO has an effect on electrical systems:
Two deputy sheriffs, called to a home on the Pacific Beach yesterday, said they found a burglar alarm ringing in tune with the lights on an unidentified flying object hovering over the ocean.
Deputies Gary Talesfore and Blair Foster reported they witnessed the UFO lights while the burglar alarm on a food freezer rang in synchronization with the lights.
“The UFO disappeared shortly, and the burglar alarm stopped ringing, the deputies said.

Paper given at UFO symposium in 1986:
All observed effects of UFOs, except purely mechanical processes and artifacts, carry implications of
electromagnetic and gravitational fields in their vicinity.
Technical studies of individual effects can establish limits to the parameters of those fields. So detailed studies of the wide range of effects should lead to a significant understanding of the UFO field. Limitations deduced from one effect may well be different from those of another, and still another.
By overlaying these various constraints, specific parameters of the UFO fields should become progressively more apparent.

Michael D. Swords presents part two of his report about UFO cases where electromagnetic (EM) effects were noted. The article mentions the 18 October 1973 U.S. Army helicopter UFO incident (the Coyne case) that occurred near Mansfield, Ohio.

AIRCRAFT/UFO ENCOUNTERS PRIOR TO 1942
1926: #Late September, (the exact date so far is unavailable), at 2300 hrs.
An Air-Mail pilot named Colin Murphy was repeatedly `buzzed' by a huge glowing object an hour after take-off from Salt Lake City. The pilot described the object as a cylinder without any wings or propeller that he could see, and at least three times the length of his DH-4 aircraft (this would make the object at least 90 feet long), and 8 to 10 feet in diameter.
Murphy also stated that every time the object approached closer than fifty-yards to his aircraft, the engine would begin to sputter and misfire. He was finally forced to land in a sheep pasture. Upon landing, the object 'took off like a shot out of a gun' disappearing to the south in a 'few seconds'.
1933: # July 5, Sussex, England.
On July 5th 1933, during a night cross country training flight over Sussex, England a flight of four Hawker Fury I biplane fighters was broken up by a "huge" circular light that "dropped down from above their formation, into its very centre." RAF Capt. Nigel Tompkins was forced to land after his engine quit. Lt. Bruce H. Thomas suffered burns to his face and hands after passing close to the light while trying to land his aircraft after his engine quit..

…One such example which occurred on November 4, 1957, made headlines in many countries' newspapers. In this case at least ten cars stalled when a UFO made a low pass over the highway. In the U.S. Air Force explanation of this incident we were expected to accept the coincidental conclusions that the object was a mirage, and that the car failures were due to ignition systems that suddenly became wet! No doubt an excellent explanation if the cars had been fording a river…

Atmospheric physicist Dr. James McDonald completed a study and determined that there had been no storm in the area, and thus no source of excessive moisture to interfere with the automobiles' electrical systems:
"In a two-hour period near midnight, November 2-3, 1957, nine different vehicles all exhibited ignition failures, and many suffered headlight failures as objects described as about 100-200 ft long, glowing with a general reddish or bluish glow, were encountered on roads in the vicinity of the small community of Levelland, Tex.
This series of incidents became national headline news until officially explained in terms of ball lightning and wet ignitions. However, on checking weather data, I found that there were no thunderstorms anywhere close to Levelland that night, and there was no rain capable of wetting ignitions. Although I have not located any of the drivers involved, I have interviewed Sheriff Weir Clem of Levelland and a Levelland newspaperman, both of whom investigated the incidents that night. They confirmed the complete absence of rain or lightning activity. The incidents cannot be regarded as explained."
With no "severe electrical storm" to "stimulate the populace into a high level of excitement," the official explanation falls apart.
