My observations ...

That Michelle Obama speech was awful. She lied. She claimed her hubby wasn't divisive. That he didn't do the 'us vs them' stuff. LIAR. Obama is the one that told a group of hispanics that republican americans were 'the enemy'. Obama is the one that goes to the left coast and sneers about those who 'cling to their guns and religion'. etc etc Obama is as divisive as it can get.

The DNC had more energy than the RNC. But also .. they had lots of LIES.

I'm looking forward to Bill Clintons speech. It's well known that he doesnt' like Obama. It's also well known that he understands economics better than any of Obama's administration. He wont' let the Obama team 'vett' his speech ... and rightly so. He's a former POTUS and is MUCH brighter and MUCH better qualified than Obama could ever hope to be. Looking forward to it .... should be a highlight of the DNC.

The economy lost 8.8 million jobs from the time employment peaked in January 2008 until it hit bottom in February 2010. Between then and this July — the most recent month for which there are figures — just 4 million jobs have been recovered. Never since World War II has the economy been so slow to recover all the jobs lost in a downturn.

Okay...so...the beef is that what Castro said was a 'mischaracterization.'
If 4 million jobs have opened up in the last 29 months...the only discrepancy I can see in what Castro seemed to be saying and the 'facts' according to this unnamed AP writer...is a difference of 1/2 million jobs less what Castro claimed in his speech.

He made NO claims about anything other than 4.5 million jobs were created. He didn't say anything about WHEN or that they were necessarily public sector jobs vs. government jobs....

AND for that matter...is it NOT A GOOD THING that the jobs created were regular civilian jobs instead of bureaucratic padding jobs?

I thought smaller government was part of the GOP platform, too?

It looks to me that these facts show something quite shocking...that President Obama has actually and literally done some part toward what he said he would do as far as jobs and unemployment.

What say you?

Democrats are not charitable, ask Biden. Except with other peoples money. The "love" of money is the root od all evil and the democrat party loves money. They also love division of all kinds. They exclude God from the table, they promote homosexuality which God hates. They promote abortion on demand which is murder to most people. Democrats should not attempt to invoke the Christian God since they do a lot of things He says in the Bible are either sin or rebellion against Him.

The headline speeches last night in Charlotte were a mayor nobody has heard of and First Lady Michelle Obama. Last night and this morning, the media are tripping over each other to heap praise on Mrs. Obama's speech, which was mostly a rehash of her speech in 2008, albeit with newly remembered money struggles. She gave a strong performance, but, unfortunately for the Democrats, not many people saw it. Overall, the speech attracted around 11 million viewers on the three broadcast networks. That's about 400,000 fewer viewers than watch Ann Romney's speech. But, the really bad news for Obama, is the massive drop in viewers from 2008.
