Wires on mars....

of all the mars pics i've seen here on ATS all i can see are rocks. but this one intrigues me, because that object doesn't look natural or if you guys want, it doesn't look like a rock.


i dont see see the wires though. can it be something that dropped from the rover to the ground? a piece of metal?

Excellent, and exactly as I suggested in an eariler post that it is a rock behind the larger rock that after software manipulation seems to blend in with the larger rock.

Looks like pottery to me. Anyway, there could be space debris on the surface.

Hmm ok I told you I can't count. I don't need proof because I have a brain to tell me what something is.

Im drawn to this thread as a person is drawn to a monkey smoking a cigarette. Its funny for me to watch but in reality the monkey isn't doing anything because the cigarette isn't even lit. Great show though. Fun to take pictures. But it isn't going to go anywhere.

That was good.

While the majority of posters here (myself included) see a rock, some do not. I think that it is interesting that the members that do not think that it is a rock can't seem to agree on what it is. Bucket, helmet, drinking cup, discarded auto parts, pieces of failed previous Martian probes and even entrances to subterranean Martian lairs have been mentioned.

Then of course some people saw wires.
