Some two dozen topless women protested in a New York City park on a hot, sweaty Sunday as part of what they called "National Go-Topless Day" to draw attention to inequality in topless rights between men and women.

There were topless men in the park, too, but nobody paid them much attention, a disparity, organizers said, that demonstrated the need for the event.

The topless women drew crowds of onlookers who took pictures and video with their cell phones.

I have to say, I'm not on board with this movement. The Raelian origin aside (lmao), I can see how this could backfire to a point. I mean, I'd like to see another woman's bare breasts in public about as much as I want to see a heavier guy's own C-cups. I don't even want to see my own droopy boobs. On the flipside, I don't mind a well-chiseled bare-chested man in public, buuuuut...I don't think this is going to work in quite the same way for a bare-chested fit woman. A smokin' hot topless women is GOING to be objectified.

I dunno. Just like men. Some women should not go around topless. Also can we make a rule that my neighbor who weighs in at 300+lbs has to stop walking around the neighborhood with skin tight vinyl pants. First it's summer and that has got to be hot and uncomfortable. Second. They don't look like pants they look like stretched out black trash bags sewn to your waist. Stop it. You live across from an grade school, you're confusing the kids.

But back to the topic. Although I would love to see some women with their tops off. Half of them I would not. Not all breasts are pretty breasts.

But it's not really about what YOU want to see. It's about freedom and equal rights for everyone. Do you support making fat people (men and women) being forced to wear more clothes because you don't want to see it? This idea of things being banned and illegal because people are offended by them is really getting out of hand.

Sorry, I should have said "objectified more than we already are". And we do certainly objectify men in return, so I really have no problem with objectification, personally. What's good for the goose is good for the gander & vice versa.

As far as covering up for the sake of others goes, I'm going to go "there". Should we allow full nudity in public as opposed to partial (upper body) nudity, because one might be more comfy in the dog days of summer totally bare? No, not acceptable at all to go totally nude in public? Come on, now. How is one form of nudity more acceptable than the other?
