I don't feel sorry for the guy in question.

Boo hoo.

There are decisions in life that you should not make and sexual assault is one of them.

What about the victim's life? Does that not matter as much?

Aww are things getting hard for the poor little molester. Watch this scumbag of a lawyer will probably want to sue for mental anguish for his scumbag of a client.

If you have a daughter and she is ever molested, we will tell her it is ok because it wasn't rape.

Some posters in this thread seem to think the girl is also at fault. I'm sorry but I didn't realise we chose whether to pass out or not from alcohol, and telling people not to drink so much then is nonsense. I drank 4 cans of lager last week and spent the night throwing up, totally uncharacteristic for me; yesterday I drank 5 pints and now I'm up typing this before I go to work feeling fine.

She was passed out and gave them no permission to do what they did, being drunk is NO excuse. If this can be excused because the guys were drunk then so can any other drunk crime. They had enough of their wits about them to carry out the act and operate a phone to take pictures so they knew what they were doing.

They deserve to be outed and hey, she would have no crime to embellish if they hadn't committed a crime in the first place.

The thing is, calling these kids rapists is just a little bit near sighted. They're hanging out at a party. This hot chick is drunkenly stumbling about, and eventually passes out. People are probably groping her all night and she's giggling like the dumb# she is. Then as soon as she's passed out and someone gropes her.....Oh Hell No!!! RAPE!!!! Sometimes people just need to shut the # up and realize that she put herself in the situation, and she got her tits massaged while she was sleeping. Who cares? If I'm passed out and someone touches my weener, I'm not gonna press charges and talk about it on Twitter.

That reply is a perfect example of the mentality that is making me start hating all humans on this planet. I think we just deevolved into Homo Habilis again. Scary.

I don't understand that they can take pictures of her and display them, but she is in trouble for displaying their names.

Are these sons of the Judge?

No situatiion ever calls for any guy to be allowed to sexually assualt a girl, even taking her clothes off to take pictures is a violation.

Way to go for supporting sexual offenders.

Really, Facebook seems to have an abundance of girls doing it to guys, girls doing it to girls, and guys doing it to guys...and all of that is deemed acceptable.

Yet, when it happens to a girl from a guy it is a chargeable offence?

This was a prank, that's it.

You honestly think that girl was molested in the middle of a party (literally the middle of the party), with all of her friends around, and nobody noticed? No witness' came forward?

Prosecutions doesn't plea bargain unless they absolutely have to, and the best charge they could get was something that you can get charged for if you ever undress somebody...ever.

Whoever is defending these boys are sick themselves and most likely predators.

They took pictures of her when she was passed out, removed her clothes, and molested her. They even admitted to felony sexual abuse.

I read the article. She was an underage chick, drinking at a party. I know how girls are at parties. Clearly you feel different. She was probably just there to dance right?

Uhh not all girls act like sluts at parties. AND even if they do it is NO excuse for them to be sexually abused.

Are you saying they should really be prosecuted as rapists for feeling a drunk chick up when they were teens?

For sexual assault, which means molesting, yes. They are lucky they didn't get child porn charges.

That's why there's so many freakin' sexual predators.....some stupid crap happens and the chick cries about rape. I honestly think they get off on it.

They ARE sexual predators. If you molest a woman at any time, when you aware of the actions, you are a predator.

I've done some stupid crap drunk before, and I've seen people do some incredibly stupid things drunk before.

You've date raped/abused girls? By the tone of your post it sure sounds like it.

That happens when you get so drunk you pass out.

No, it really isn't. A rapist/molestor is a predator, who preys on women, passed out or conscious. You're really disgusting.

They were charged for taking a picture of her passed out on the floor, where they had physical contact and some body part was exposed. I

By physical contact, you mean molesting right? Hope you do

If they are to blame for their drunken stupidity .... so is she imo

So you're blaming the victim?
DISGUSTING

Especially since nothing actually happened yet she went to the police anyways.

Nothing happened? They took nude photos of her (child porn) while passed out and molested her.

I think my decision would depend on whether or not they were found guilty.

If they were found guilty, the gag order IS a violation of freedom of speech. The judge IS punishing the girl for being 'assaulted'.

If they were found not guilty; then, she couldn't say those things because it would be liable for the girl to say those things (even if they were actually guilty.)

The judge seems to think it's okay to rape passed-out-drunks. He's about four decades out-of-date in his thinking.

I just posted to second this. Sounds reasonable.

The only ones that don't act like sluts at parties, are the ones that are so ugly nobody wants to go near them. At least in my experience, 99% of the girls at parties (ones with alcohol at them), are the very definition of a slut. People keep saying these kids raped her unconscious, recorded it on video and put it online. Nothing from the article indicates that.

She was drunk, passed out, they grabbed her, may or may not have taken pictures (that one remains disputed), she sobered up, pressed charges, the court system handled it, then she goes to Twitter and tells everyone they raped her and videotaped it.

^^^That is what happened, allegedly. Also people seem to think I'm defending these kids. They're all idiots. People are thinking I'm some sort of predator. I get my own, I don't need to feel up unconscious chicks. These were young kids and this stuff happens at pretty much any underage drinking party. Does it make it right? No. But it doesn't make them rapists either.

Everyone please raise a hand who knows every detail about the case from a legitimate source.
Everyone who denies an assaulters rights and acts as if he was outlawed is ignoring the basic principles of a constitutional state.
Everyone posting hate messages based on some biased articles has the maturity level of a 14 year old kid.

I just made this account to write this (only lurking otherwise), and I already feel ashamed to actively participate in a community like this. Wasn't the torch and pitchfork swinging, emotional ragtag more somet fad of the dark ages?

ahh yes, victim blame. Nothing like it. I hate to break it to you, but even if the girl was acting "slutty", even if she decided to run around the party naked, that doesnt give ANYONE the right to touch her against her will. EVER.

I do hope you have no daughters.

I never saw an issue with this before but its just hit me....

What if she is lying?

I dont for one second believe that but playing devils advocate its a possibility.

From what Ive heard these kids have no influence or connections so if they were found innocent maybe it should stay buried.

I would say being the victim of a false accusation of sexual assault could be just as damaging as being an actual victim of the assault.

Pls dont flame me for being insensitive, just talking out loud

If I, packed my pockets with $100 bills then walked to a random neighborhood in Detroit and then knocked myself out with a baseball, would expect to have empty pockets by the time I came to.

Do you have any daughters? Would you repeat what is in your post to your own daughter, if she came to you crying and devastated with a story like the OP's?

My goodness, I'm glad you aren't MY dad.
