I decided to put in July 20, 2012 in the timewave zero program and got this...

Huge drop in novelty just a day after the shooting.

And guess what? There is a huge drop in novelty beginning today the 4th and ending the 8th.

To answer your question, no I didn't pay attention to the novelty of timewave zero on that date, or any other. Probably because I have no frickin clue what this is.

Good observation. I have always been a tad skeptical about time wave zero but as and when these high profile events happen, I think it's always worth checking out. My only problem with it is the fact that there is is carnage the world over that we don't hear about. Ya know, Afghanistan, Syria etc. Might be worth checking out the timewave to massacres in other countries too.

If this programme actually has some grit then it will not be exclusive to the western world.

From wikipedia,

"Timewave zero" is a numerological formula that purports to calculate the ebb and flow of "novelty", defined as increase over time in the universe's interconnectedness, or organized complexity. According to Terence McKenna, the universe has a teleological attractor at the end of time that increases interconnectedness, eventually reaching a singularity of infinite complexity in 2012, at which point anything and everything imaginable will occur simultaneously. He conceived this idea over several years in the early to mid-1970s while using psilocybin mushrooms and '___'.

McKenna expressed "novelty" in a computer program which purportedly produces a waveform known as "timewave zero" or the "timewave". Based on McKenna's interpretation of the King Wen sequence of the I Ching, the graph appears to show great periods of novelty corresponding with major shifts in humanity's biological and sociocultural evolution. He believed that the events of any given time are recursively related to the events of other times, and chose the atomic bombing of Hiroshima as the basis for calculating his end date of November 2012. When he later discovered this date's proximity to the end of the 13th b'ak'tun of the Maya calendar, he revised his hypothesis so that the two dates matched.

Well spotted!! Timewave Zero and the I-Ching are things that everyone needs to know about. Timewave zero's timeline goes MENTAL around 2012 then just kind of.. disappears..

Sorry for drug references but that is what McKenna did.

I'll be sure to check world news everyday and if something happens i'll check the timewave!

It depends on your perception of drugs, especially hallucinogens. There are people that believe it's just a change in brain chemistry that changes your perception of reality, and then there are people like Terrence that believe it opens up your brain to other dimensions.

So what's the system measuring, and how is it being measured?

We both posted the same excerpt from wikipedia, at almost the same time. Which one of us ones to delete it? You go first!

I'm like Terrence but this discussion is not suited for ATS so let's just say, it depends on how you look at it. Which is what you said and I agree.

Perhaps this video is better than the first one I posted if you do not understand the basis principles of Timewave Zero.

So when nothing of magnitude happens tomorrow, can we dismiss not only the correlations on July 20th and Holmes but the entire timewave zero project???

Am I the only one who finds it suspicious that the initial "end date" was changed from end of November to December 21st 2012 ???

It was never changed. Mckenna didn't even know about the mayan calendar end date until after he came up with timewave zero. He based the software on the I ching. Something doesn't always happen when the novelty goes down, what Mckenna described is something happening in regards to biological and sociological evolution. Usually events will trigger that, but it doesn't always.
