Just to be clear, I'm somewhat open to the idea of mind control over a single person. I'm not open to the idea that this guy was a marine or any other serviceman that would call himself a soldier. There's no way they would do something like this.

Perhaps the reason he was emotionally detatched is because he wasn't fully aware of his actions until it was over? Perhaps he was found sitting, because the fact that he really did that had finally registered? I'm not sure.

Just don't try and tell me this guy was a marine.

Exactly. No one carries because they think ' its weird ' or they feel uncomfortable. Ninja combat doesnt work against some one with a gun. They will shoot you .. in the face .. and then your little girlfriend is next.

Carrying a small side arm is good. I practice with about 400 rounds a week.

Glock G26 Sub-Compact is my concealed weapon of choice. Of course with a couple of modifications. Made the trigger a little heavier for safety reasons , hard laser , night sights , extended grip and extended mag ,fits nicely inside my waist belt , and i carry an extra mag inside a cargo space in the custom holster.

If he was indeed nothing but a pawn, his so-called brainwashing might have started some time ago, and his mother was probably becoming more and more concerned about his behaviour. I'm assuming that these people are chosen because of their peculiar psychological profiles, so even if his parents report that he's always been a strange child or he showed cruelty towards animals and so on won't necessarily mean that he's the main culprit or that he wasn't used. But, obviously, there's always the possibility that he's a sociopath who acted alone. But there's something off about it.

Never understood the need for people to get on a thread like this and go on about the weapon they carry, how many rounds a week they go thru, how much training they have, how many rounds they carry, which ammo they use, how custom their holser is, how moded their gun is etc...

None of that really matters.
What matters is that there was not a GODDAMNED single person in that theater who was armed and willing to put a few down range. How great would that have been?
That would have bought some time for the good ol' second ammendment.

My thoughts exactly. Was the phone call a 'trigger' that put him into some kind of trance? Who called him? Witnesses marveled at how calm he was when he mowed moviegoers down. He was in full gear to protect himself but booby-trapping his apartment tells us he didn't plan on coming back. He told cops "I am the joker". How strange! He tells the police his place is wired for explosives but apparently he isn't telling them how to disarm the place. There is something wrong about this whole scene.

has anybody considered that these rumors in congress are started by legislators which own the gun mfg. and ammo mfg. and when the rumors fly people buy even more guns and ammo.

Well, there can always be disagreement on what terms to use and so forth but something stinks bad here. I would go as far as to suggest the whole thing may well have been staged with blanks and actors and all. Certainly if 9/11 could have been a conspiracy, this could have been. I'm sure they could find enough radical anti-gun nuts to fill a theater.

And obviously, the timing and location are both very suspicious. I got weird vibes from the last Dark Knight movie. Obviously it couldn't be any more convenient for gun grabbers to have something like this happen right now when they have a liberal in the WH and conservatives and libertarians are so weakened. And the timing in relation to the election can't be ignored either. Just a few months. It will certainly be easy to manipulate overly emotional people by reminding them of this when election day draws near.

I believe this and the gated community shooting have both been used by TPTB to set the stage for gun grabbing.

Well according to Faux News they have disarmed the apartment. Now what really gets me is this quote from the article and the wording....

"My understanding is that all the weapons that he possessed, he possessed legally. And all the clips that he possessed, he possessed legally. And all the ammunition that he possessed, he possessed legally," Oates said at a press conference Friday.

Very nice... I have the G22 at home in my dresser, but I carry the SW bodyguard 380 with the build in insight laser. Who knows what would happen, but I have 28 years of military training and I'm use to a gun fight type situation, so if I was there and not one of the first to be picked off it might have been a different outcome, but with NO ONE carrying we know the outcome to that...

Absolutely. Remember. Obama needs an excuse. He needs to get people pissed off and upset. Before he was elected everyone said he'd take away the guns. He couldn't just do it without an excuse.

I think it is a false flag..but we need more evidence. will it be used to further anti-gun legislation, and to introduce even more restrictions on freedom? absolutely. It started immediately, all the usual suspects using the deaths of these people to push their agendas..it makes no sense for an unemployed guy to be able to afford all the guns, the 6k(!?) rounds of ammo, all the booby-traps in the apt..how did he learn that stuff..the body armor alone is quite expensive..I'm sorry, anarchists cookbook notwithstanding, you need training for what they're finding in that apartment. any idiot can shoot up a theatre..but this shows a plan, this shows training..that he should not have had given his position in life. If you believe (as I do) that most (if not all) of the MSM is pure propaganda, we are not going to find that evidence without picking apart the story they are putting out and using our gut instincts.

As soon as I heard about this, my gut told me something was fishy. Could my gut possibly be wrong? Of course! But in this strange realm in which we find ourselves where we don't trust our leaders or our media, I don't know how we're ever going to say for sure one way or another.

I'm a long time viewer, first time poster. I signed up today because this event stands out in my mind as "Fishy" at best! I havent seen anyone mention that the alleged shooter managed to rig a door to explode and THEN USE that door to leave??? I dont believe the apartment was ever rigged by the alleged shooter if rigged at all.

I want to see the video of he alleged shooter buying his movie ticket. that should be out NOW.
