This place is a joke. So many insinuating "well, if someone had been a C/C fewer would have died." BS. It was a dark, smokey theater. I can imagine a few of you knuckleheads trying to play cop in there & far more would have died in the crossfire. Just like in a bank robbery... Very few actually turn into a shooting. But one of you bozo's pulls your weapon to play hero & people would end up dying. The love of guns in the US is beyond disturbing. More guns = More violence. FACT. The NRA is a money making machine for themselves & gun manufactures & could care less about the loss of human life. FACT. Get a more constructive hobby.

No it's the ignorance of guns that is the most disturbing. And the fact that people fear them.

A gun can only kill you if the other person is aiming it at you, then pulls the trigger.

I agree that untrained people would, or could create more chaos, but the fact that people don't get up off of their asses and tackle those scumbags is beyond me.

And your also correct that the gun manufacturers will always produce, profit, distribute guns and not give a crap about loss of life. Kind of a conundrum in our world.

My philosophy is: If myself or my loved ones are going to die by the hand of a madman, then I will do my best to not just sit there and wait, or cower in fear, even if I do not have a gun.

No clear cut answers to the issue, but maybe empower oneself with the ability to have the courage to engage these cowards at any cost.

A person who lives in a country that allows the freedom to go to a movie when ever you want to, we do not know the 3 month olds sleep cycle and what difference does it make when a family goes to a movie?

The guilt is upon the guilty not a family for choosing a movie time YOU find illogical. It is not the parents fault a shooter tear gased their child, it is the shooters fault.

God Bless,

a goddam 3 year old infant into a movie theatre with flashing lights and noise loud enough to make ur ears bleed.

you perfectly show how stupid american society has become with an illogical defense of having a newborn baby only 90days in an environment like this.

I don't think they are trying to say that all. They are just reporting what they are learning.

Having said THAT.... Please tell me this, as someone who has seen it. How would this villain be in a 'kids seeing this movie' kinda of way as it ranks to ...say... "The Cell" (Psychopathic ...in a way even I was seriously disturbed by) or... Some of the deep bloody movies like Saw in the first ones...? Is it THAT bad for head games and going to dark places? Hard to articulate what I mean, but your first post says you know what I'm trying to say....?

I saw Saw; a couple of them. And yes, Bane is worse than Jigsaw. Significantly worse.

Bane breaks people's necks, entirely conversationally. He will be talking to someone in the same manner as telling you what time it is, and then in the next moment, without any warning at all, he will simply break their neck. There's no games, like with Jigsaw or the Joker. There's also no sense, like there was with even with the Joker, that killing someone is a serious act. Bane attaches no importance to it whatsoever; he is more casual and cold-blooded about it, than any other character I've ever seen.

The central issue with Bane is not the fact that he plays games, or that he messes with people's heads; the real issue is that he doesn't, and he doesn't attribute any importance to murder at all, as mentioned.

The second point is the voice. When he yells, in particular; I've honestly hardly ever heard anything worse, in a movie. It's just the high pitch, as well as the terrible things he says.

The third point is his value system, and his perspective. Bane exists to kill people. He doesn't exist for the purpose of anarchy, or doing things because it amuses him, like the Joker does. Bane's sole purpose is to destroy. That is literally all he does; and that entirely for its' own sake. He doesn't represent anarchy, as much he does pure, unadorned, unceremonial death.

Bane reminded me of the difference between my Goddess, Kali Ma, and the Judeo/Christian Satan. Ma can represent entropy or chaos, yes; but at the same time, she also represents nurturing and love to the same degree, and the entropic representation is actually as a recognition of the fact that death, to a certain degree only, is actually necessarily to keep the entire ecological/universal system going. It's like a metronome; there's a constant movement back and forth, and that movement has to continue, if existence is to continue.

Bane, on the other hand, made me think of Satan in that sense. Pure, exclusive destruction and entropy. Not for the purpose of oscillating between entropy and energy in order to keep the cycle going; but exclusive death, and exclusive entropy, and keeping everything held in that state, in order to just completely destroy all of it. There's no balance.

Is there anyone left who isn't on these meds? I mean other than fruitloops like me and Scientologists?

Of course he was on anti-anxiety meds. He was 24, his mother thought he was unstable, and he apparently just dropped out of Med school. I don't think there is a college student in the nation that isn't abusing Adderall and Red Bull, and probably Xanax, and alcohol.

Just so you know, a legal precedent has been set by the state of Oregon regarding protesting TSA searches, get naked. It's a freebee included in your First Amendment right to Free Speech.

I always wondered why "Free Speech" is capitalized....

Yes, the act is heinous. The fact that Alex Jones predicted this on the 20th of July (well something of it) is pretty creepy. I have two very big questions about the movie and the patrons.

One:
Why was this violence filled movie rated PG 13???? It looks more violent (according to the A.J. clips on infowars) than any of the others.

Two:
Why were there 3 month olds in the theatre? Don't you think if parents have enough money to spring for a movie ticket that they'd have enough dough to cough up for a sitter???

I agree that this is going to change things on a national level and that it is probably some sort of "proof" that we no longer need guns, although this is the first incident in how long regarding a 'lone gunman'?

I'm a gun advocate, I've been shooting them since I was 3 and 4 years old. I don't own one right now, but I'm probably going to get one because of events like this. I usually prefer a bow and arrow, but that might be too "Hunger Games" and I want to be more like "Batman".

Sorry for the jibe, I'm not trying to offend anyone. Laughter IS, after all, the best medicine. I'm not diminishing the event, although I refuse to call it a massacre because that brings up, as my mind went to the first place just like everyone else, Columbine.

No, there are no laws restricting taking babies to movies, but parenting society doesn't think it is a good idea.

I have been a new parent myself, I had a winter baby which means you can't take them out for 6 weeks, I understand bouncing off the walls.

I also understand that you now practically have EMTs babysitting your kid and they want 15 bucks an hour.

But also as a parent, my kid comes first and I was prepared to have a social life stopped. If they can't keep a sleeping baby at home, than they shouldn't of had one.

When I was in vegas, I saw poor sleepy children pushed in strollers at 1am in a casino.

Also the parents I have seen with an infant have to leave the movie half the time when the baby wakes up and starts crying.

Besides, movie theaters are filthy, germ filled places, why would you even want to take an infant there?

Uuuuuuuh, why do we need guns??????? It's apparent that a 9mm is not for hunting. So, what is the use for guns? Where and what are we hunting????

Also, explain why we need bombs and bullets????

Standard America. No debate on gun control though, god forbid that. There are only thousands of mentalists carrying around loaded killing machines, it's fine.

Must admit, we have our fair share of idiots going on killing spree, they either get them illegally anyway or already are registered like that guy who shot that policeman the other week.

CX.

The guy was at one point a leader of some occupy movement, though they could substitute anyone in a false flag for the gunman, he was overdressed so to speak. Hillary is signing a UN gun treaty and this occurs. Sure there will be people blaming guns. I'm Canadian and dont really want one, but at this point, not sure anymore. And I do think that all who have should go through 3 month training sessions, acting out all imagineable scenarios, and take refreshers every few years, so that young man who answered the door in the night, when the police were at the wrong house, wouldn't have died.

BUT, if half the people there been OC, 50 would have shot him, once he started his rampage.

Self defense is a right, but I believe that with such technology, there is great responsibility and lots and lots training should be mandatory.

But this wouldn't have got far if ppl had their own masks and weapons, instantly they would have put them on and taken him down. Carrying a small mask against tear gas, may be not possible, but I could see people doing such. I've thought of lots of scenarios where you need a mask. Even a protest.

They were unarmed. This doesnt help the gun control crowd, this shows what its like when people are unarmed, untrained and some thug with a gun, possibly a black op even, for the UN's gun control stuff on my mind, starts shooting.

Here in Canada, its the bad guys and gangs that have them, eh. I would like to have training courses and learn to responsibly have one myself.

That is the thing, if this was done for the UN treaty on guns, it was the wrong thing, because I never wanted one, but by the end of this post, I really want one and some training, and for my whole family. This case has made me feel the opposite way. Only the thugs and militia have guns? Not right at all!

I wonder if he just lost it or if there is more to it? It sounds as if his Mom had at least some indication...schizophrenia usually has an on set from age 15 through 25.

Could be schizophrenia, either way it certainly does sound like he was showing all the signs of obsession with or acquiring advanced weaponry and must have shown knowledge of learning about explosives. Perhaps openly perhaps under a guise, like enacting Halo or enthusiast of some sort.

Young men are so impressionable, especially when it comes to pride and peer groups, like this '9gag' report of suspect being goaded and made fun of, not a good idea when dealing with mental instability.

I have worked front line for organisations for people suffering from such instabilities and I would always suggest being cautious. I bet these '9gag' guys are rethinking their attitudes....makes one wonder if maybe some of them could have been there and it was a personal revenge rather than a random act.

Because there are crazy people like this guy. There are Hitler's in the world, there are very bad people with very bad intentions. Long before guns and bombs, people were already killing each other in mass.

We live on a small rock with limited resources, and ever-increasing competition for those resources. Humans are imperfect, and some humans will try to take advantage of other ones, and if those bad guys get better weapons than us good guys, then we will either be killed or enslaved, so we have to make sure that doesn't happen.

From rocks, to sticks, to sharpened sticks, to bows, to slingshots, to swords, to blackpowder, and so on.

I can't help but feel that this shooting, and the one that happened in that bar in Alabama a few days ago, and others, might have been carried out by sleeper agents.
Agents made and programed by our government, to carry out these gruesome acts.
Acts that are designed to put fear into the minds of the American public for their safety.
A fear that they hope will kick in and prompt the public into buying into and doing what the government ultimately wants and have been talking about for a few months now.

The outright ban of the right of the American citizen to own a firearm.

We have seen it over and over for the past decade. Our government is not afraid to break a few eggs in order to get the omelet they want. It's one big interlinked Psy-Op set upon the American public and the world, and it's working. Look at what they did on 9/11. The government did that to get what they wanted, and it worked.

A great man once said....
Anyone that would choose safety over freedom deserves nether.
I feel the same way..

Exactly what it is. They've been looking for a new false flag.

Here we have it!

No need for big buildings being blown to bits, or dirty bombs exploding. A mass-shooting during one of the biggest summer blockbusters is THE false flag attack the DHS had been begging for.

THIS IS IT.
