Mass shooting in Aurora, CO (At Batman Film Premiere)

What Holmes' mother said, upon finding out that her son was in custody was quite strange. Apparently she woke up to this whole ordeal and called the police. She immediately told them "You have the right man". This was according to a news break through Reuters I was listening to.

I think his personal failures might have brung him down, but not so convinced his motive was notoriety.

Some people get so depressed and instead of just sticking with hating themselves, they start to hate others for reasons they find rational.

However, does anyone else find it extraordinary that the only named victim Jessica Ghawi (the up and coming sports caster) was not but 2 months ago in the direct vicinity and escaped perhaps a similar tragedy (Toronto Mall shooting) that has unfortunately befallen her in the Colorado theater incident?

If anyone watched the interview with her brother on the Aurora News station today as well, that seemed very scripted imo. Perhaps it's nothing, but the odds are rather intriguing.

Makes me curious about the particulars of this girl.

Heath as the Joker had red hair during the hospital scene. So perhaps he was emulating that in someway? Or it was coincidence. Or... he didn't have red hair.

Was anyone watching MSNBC just now? About 10 min ago they had a girl on for a few seconds and all I caught was "we heard loud techno music playing". I was half paying attention to the news and reading ATS so i'm not sure what she was referring to but it was definitely related to the shooting. Anyone else catch this???

Rather than the Red Hair connection, what about the AFF connection? Could this have been a result of him being rejected by women? Could other things come into play like bans on prostitution?

AND, my wife is convinced the girl that happened to be at both shootings is just too big of a coincidence. Could she have had an AFF account and been in both places because she connected with the shooters somehow?

That chick could be channeling the death in. Like doing worship. After they dedicate themselves and commit to "her", "she" opens the door to the black. Some people get really cozy with her and she allows them to "control" things, but in reality its just opening the door to that force. The person begins to think they are controlling the environment and such, and eventually she kills them (pride before the fall). Thats why its always best to stick with God, he is a little too forgiving sometimes, but better than death.

^^YES! That's what I'm thinking. What is the DEAL with her being at both places... one in Canada and one here.

But i dunno about her being on AFF... that could ruin that little career of hers she's was going for. Which would make her very public and anyone could out her. "hey, that lady's on AFF!"

I dont know how real this is, but its relevant to discussion as a detail the tv isnt showing (if the msm even know about it yet)

Now don't get me wrong, I'm not saying this is THE cause of today's tragedy, I'm just saying it was awfully quick of mom to say it was her son, how did she know in her heart it was her son, why did she know it was her son, is this something familial she's experienced, though not to this level I'm sure, before? Just something to look into other than mind control.

It's probably nothing but I just found it strange.......are dyed red heads the "in fashion" for murderers not even connected to each other?

I agree and anyone know why she would use a different last name over the air as Jessica Redfield, is that common to use a different last name for media?

It's no big deal he has red hair. It's that a small bit of info got out via Oates and Kelly about Holmes' hair, and until the AFF site came to light there was nothing to support the claim that his hair was red (since nobody today saw anything other than a man draped in black armor).


@IamMe14, the techo music was what Holmes had playing in his apartment. He had it on a timer really loud so someone would open the door and set off the explosives. His downstairs neighbor heard the music, went upstairs and had the knob turned enough to realize it was unlocked before she decided to leave him alone.

Thanks, I've been waiting to find out what music was playing at his apartment. I didn't know the information had been released already and this was the first mention of techno music I had heard of.

I'm wondering about how he was able to afford so much especially if recently purchased. The guns could be collected over years pretty easily, but bought all at once that's a pretty good chunk of change. The girl that was at two shootings is pretty freaky and sticks out to me as well.
