I have heard that the Australian government is hiring many of the 20, 000 British soldiers to work in the Australian army in exchange for Aussie citizenship.

I am one of them..

I hope you march to Downing street and drag those swine from their chairs.

The military should not be privatised.

And don't let any of the pig scum try and stop you either. I'd pay good money to see the army give the police a good kicking.

Neither should any other important service to society. Unfortunately conservatives only make a big fuss about the military and have no quarrels promoting charity instead of social welfare and advocate privatising once public services such as telephone, electricity, transportation, water and sewage services.

Preaching to the choir.... Making them pay should be paramount??

As an american citizen I have no right to tell british citizens what they should do and I apologise if I offend anyone. The point I am trying to make is that privatisation has gone overboard in almost every country while socialism has been demonised.

Good luck with the march!

No better in Oz matey. My brother went there for 12 months and while nice as a novelty, it soon wears off. Same old bollocks as here, just with plenty more creepy crawlies that can kill you while taking a dump. Personally, if I was to choose an Anglosphere country to emigrate to, it would be Canada...

But, good luck either way!!

There's some prophecies out there that claim England will be embroiled in civil war during ww3/the tribulation.

I wonder if this is how it starts...

Good on you soldier boys, tell Cameron where he can stick it. First the RAF now the army, typical of this proxy country.

First we send our boys off to war with insufficient equipment now we are destroying the armed forces with cuts and demoralisation.

You have my and virtually every other uk citizen's full support.

I can't say that I am surprised. But when?

I've read about this, and just wanted to say best wishes from the States in your struggle to preserve your heritage and your national forces.

It's both a sad and dangerous thing when the military becomes a contract job, and it rarely goes well for any of the citizens who support liberty in such a nation, wherever it may be.

Don't you guys see it? They want the UN troops to be the global army. So they're staging down military and are prepared to ask for UN assistance at the drop of a dime

Privatizing the UK military is the last card before a total police state.

God help us.

I have to apologise to the British public for not acting sooner... We let you down big time..

We wont do that again..

You have not let us down.. You're all still there doing what you do best. We're still here behind you all and ready to lend a helping hand or two..

"Our" inaction against those who have lied to us, tricked us, scammed us and generally pooped all over us, is not "our" fault..

Sometimes it takes time for all to realise and wake up.

Luckily, it seems that is about to happen big time...

We're all in this together, but you lot have got a bit more clout than us general public.. you got pointier sticks..

Many years ago I had a dream where i made a sign.. the sign read "pointed pointers pointed".
So I'll sharpen your sticks any time...

Perhaps you should direct some of your anger at those who deliberately misled this country into war, who screwed the economy over and have milked us dry for far too long now.

I already do. Am I not allowed to hold soldiers responsible also? Most of which just want to go and shoot some ragheads.

Misled? The bulk of soldiers are more than happy to be out there killing brown people

I'm all for the march and will support any way I can but I have one criticism, march on london fine, the politicians party down there and you will get great (or should do) news coverage...........but have forgot what also gets up Joe Publics back, everything is about london, the national stadium, the dome, their upcoming sports day!!!!!

You see and read about our fantastic troops abroad working a hearts and minds strategy to gain the confidence and support of the locals, so what you EvanB and the rest of those who want to march is to do this march around the country and not just london village, you would raise hearts, minds and spirits that you are with the people and we will in return support you with lodgings, funding, food etc

Regards
Wolfie

Although a lot more effort this would be certainly worth it, the government VERY rarely listens to protests so we must not give up, march around more than one part of the country as Wolfie has suggested. The military is already in excellent standing with the public and if you additionally do this I can wager that you will have undying devotion from the public.
