To all the soldiers here.

I DO suggest utilizing social networks to rally together. Maybe for the different divisions and such and their supporters too. The internet is a powerful tool.

If you use the right sites and pages you'll get a big following, especially if you explain your cause and message.

Parliament must approve the cuts before they can be implemented.

Probably a formality, barring a backbench rebellion.

A R S E !

Damn party politics. I bet most of those backbenchers would, if they had a free vote and didn't run from the whip, wouldn't have backed it. Everyone I have spoken to thinks these cuts are madness...

I hope you are right as the thought of private military groups taking over for the gov is seriously dodgey.

Glad you are all going to make a stand, regardless of disciplinaries.

I will just elaborate here that as far as I am aware, the "private contractors" are not going to be combat forces, but rather logistical/technical...

But, slippy slope and all that....

Unless theyre armed i wouldn't expect much man. You don't speak the same language as a politician until he has a gun in his face, he won't be on the same page as you until then. They have this inherent ability to look down their nose at you until their life flashes before their eyes and they understand you mean business.

My section commander in basic training made us sing "men of Harlech" everyday....

The Zulu's had numbers.. A company of British soldiers which is less that a hundred f**ed them....

I have heard that the Australian government is hiring many of the 20, 000 British soldiers to work in the Australian army in exchange for Aussie citizenship.
