Tony Robinson is doing the same as the rest of the worlds media, Blaming it on the banks.

Why?

Because the banking system as we know it is on its way out, so who better to blame than a system which is already doomed.

Tony Robinson just proved to me that he's joined the other side.

Something we should all remember.
IF ITS ON THE BBC YOU WERE MEANT TO SEE IT.

Did you forget to take your medication today? Damn, it must be hard living with your mind. Everything is a twisted conspiracy. You seem to have gotten lost in the rabbit hole. Watch out they are at your door.

His comments came across as genuine, with real concern and understanding. Good job.

Yeah, Ok and agreed. It's fully within their power to make changes but they're not going there. This brings me back to their vested interest, nothing will change until they have something or everything to loose. Although I don't see this in the immediate future, I have no doubt that it's a slow train coming into view more and more as days pass.

Yes totally they will not change, they have far too much to lose. That is why I see the only option as anarchy, but then that has it's ups and downs that i haven't quite solidified in my head yet. But I'm very much of the stefan molyneux train of thought, he has some very good points...

My only real issues are things like the commons and national defense. Adam kokesh did a video pointing to swedens defense strategy the other day. Basically the whole infrastructure is rigged with explosives so if they were ever to be invaded they would blow the bridges and road and railways etc. But how could that work in an anarchistic society? Who would have the finger on the button?

I posed that question to someone on his channel and the guy said anyone could press it if they felt the national defense was in danger...
Can you imagine that?

I definitely think the system will crash sooner or later and we need to prepare for that. It certainly can't just carry on forever with countries going further and further into debt. you would have to be pretty naive to think it can. Yet people still want all the "free" stuff...

I didn't say he wants them to continue as they are now but to expect the banks who helped cause the problem to now fix the problem they caused is ludicrous. Same as expecting the government to solve the problems that they cause. Just do away with both of them so they stop causing bloody problems! This will be a good start...

His comment was like the people that think "if only we can get nice people into power"... It won't make one blind bit of difference as they would soon be corrupted.

Well, I was not referring to you in my post, but since you replied I will try to answer in some way. He is actually calling out the banks to end the culture of payouts, above and beyond of what they are paid to do the job, the bonus. Since 2008 and before the bonus system is nothing but a form of corruption in the figures used, and since commercial banks assets are somewhere out there, excluding buildings, the only hard cash they are going to get is from the central banks, to pay these bonuses blah blah, as all the central banks consider on paper commercial banks as assets.

Well your comment seemed to fit what I had said in a previous post and you did not specify who you were talking to. I agree with you but what I;m saying is that is not enough! Even if they did that the system would still be ridiculously stupid and immoral. I don't care about the managers getting a bonus. I care about the fact that the banks are loaning out money they do not have! Then they are claiming you should pay all that money back, with interest. They do no work for it at all, just pop some figure into your bank account.

They can even sell on your debt, it is win win for them.

This is what i'm talking about. The whole bankers bonuses is a tiny issue in the grand scheme of things.

There are many more issues with the banks that I have not put in this comment, just go back and read some of my other posts.

Exactly, he may be a actor but you could see in his eyes that what he was saying was his opinion.

Did anybody realy watch that video,no seriously,

Tony Robinson said 2 things that where completely wrong,

He said the uk banks got 100s of millions,no the banks got billions,

then he went on to say the banks need to get us out of this,no no no,

we need to get rid of the bankers and sort this out ourselves,

how can we ever trust these scumbags ever again,we cant.

Good little speech!

However, I didn't fail to notice that when Cameron went to the EC when they tried to devise a control mechanism for banking, a Europe-wide control mechanism, enforced by an external committee, he flat-out refused to co-operate, unless British banks were exempted.....

Makes pretty clear that it's not only the British bankers that are rotten to the core, but that GB's political elite is in cahoots with the bankers to an alarming degree.

Well, doesn't matter in the end. Mainland Europe has agreed upon an oversight agency, and a (tiny 0.01%)tobin-tax is the next step. Overhere in The Netherlands a tax on s.c. Computer-generated "flash-transactions" is already in the works.
The moment Cameron arrogantly walked away, thinking himself and his banking-buddies immune, he basically comitted suicide afa as Main-Land Europe was concerned. For Europe, banking will be concentrated in Frankfurt, and Main-Street has, thanks to Cameron, become a second-tier. A party not to be trusted.

The Tories wanted isolationism, well, they got it.
A great example of "be careful what you wish for, because you might get it"

Isn't Mainland-Europe in deep doodah? Oh, it indubitably is, but it's no longer prepared to allow Great-Britain a seat at the banking table. All thanks to Cameron's arrogant intrancience. He has become moot, and superfluous. Not exactly what the Tories had in mind, when they demanded all sorts of exemptions for Main Street in the new, strict banking laws for Europe. (f.i. mandatory cutting-up banks in a consumer- and a bussiness/investment branch, so, in short : no-more using our savings to play roulette, no more second-step derivatives-from-derivatives, the most risky, and thusly the most profitable of all the semi-fraudulent shoving of money a bank can do. Things like that.)

The writings are on the wall.

Instead of getting in a pissing match about who's at fault, find a solution.

I don't have the solution for the global banking problem but I know a simple solution everyone can tackle. Get some skills that will be valuable if paper fiat currency goes away. Learn to garden, learn to fix bicycles or learn to hunt/fish.

These are just basic skills. Get creative.

Complaining about how the banks are screwing you and everyone over is getting you no where. Their greed and complete disregard for average people is going to come back to them. The avenue of revenge will be when a tomatoe costs 100 bucks and I have 100 of them.

Worst case scenario is I have awesome fresh tomatoes.

Lol trouble is if that situation comes about you would be no better off than now because all other products are relative. So when you wanted a loaf of bread you would have to trade in all your worthless money for it lol...

But yeah your advice is good and people should most definitely get prepared! It's coming for sure. I think we have some time left yet though so never to late to start learning some new skills.

You completely missed the point. That paper money is useless. It's useless right now if you actually think about it. If you're striving to make a lot of "money" you are failing.

Paper money is worthless. While people still think it has value you're best off using it to make something of actual value. Food for example. You mentioned a loaf of bread. Make it yourself. Practice now when you still can.

Think of it this way, if you lived in a village in 1800 and the land owner was raping, pillaging and robbing the locals from his mansion, with law enforcement and government silently looking on, you'd expect the villagers to arrive with pitchforks and torches in the middle of the night to deal justice themselves, wouldn't you?

In the US picture 50-200 million armed with pistols, shotguns, rifles, (auto, semi, 3x burst) capable. Picture some tall trees, now picture alot of short ropes.
Pitchforks are for tossing hay. I do like your torches though...fiat fueled!
