Would a documentary by PBS
called Dollars and Dentists do?

video.pbs.org...

I'd love to see an unbiased source. ALso, you still have missed one of hte primary points. Also, unsubstantiated allegations on a rather "dramatic" "investigative report" is not exactly evidence.

What's fair about it? Nothing restricts how much insurance companys can charge, but I have to buy it anyway, or pay a tax

I think that the actual going to trial conviction rate is 79 or 78% and the rest are plea bargains that push the conviction rate up to 97%. Also, I think that what they go after are moronic "taxpayers" who make moronic "taxpayer" arguments. Wesley Snipes, with all due respect to that man and his heart in the right place, made moronic "taxpayer" arguments. People that like to argue the "income" tax is unconstitutional, or that the 16th Amendment was never properly ratified, or a plethora of other boneheaded arguments are easy pickings for the IRS and serve as poster children for the pro "income" tax sites that love to point to all the boneheaded arguments that have failed in court as examples of why it is pointless to challenge the IRS.

There are plenty of these type of people, but they are only a portion of the federal crimes on the books that wind up giving the federal government such an astonishingly high conviction rate.

Are we not already in a large hole of debt? I fail to see how making that hole bigger would help anyone.

Armed rebellion? Sounds a bit ridiculous for something like health care, which we knew needed big improvement. There are way more important things to rebel about in our country than that.

Does something like that ever happen over a single thing? Do you think the Revolution was about the Tea Tax, or the Civil War was about slavery?

This just happens to be the most recent and most obvious transgression at this point in time.

Obamacare is not socialist

I do find it hillarious that the GOP is supposedly up in arms about a mandate that was installed rather than a public option in a compromise. The mandate was a republican point and not an Obama point.
-For anyone who pays attention, this is abundantly clear. Personally I don't like the idea of the mandate at all, but I can't sit here with a straight face while I read slop after slop. From some of these threads you'd swear that Obama is sitting in a huge chair within his Negro St. Kenya lair while petting his cat and speaking in a low menacing voice.
"I will make them all commies! Death to Americaaaaa! Ahaahahahaaahaaaa!.......Michelle, make me some Chicken, baby!"

Why should a larger portion of what I earn be used to attempt to fill a hole I didn't dig, and seems to keep getting deeper every day. The hole digging by this administration is out of control. They seem to think we, the dwindling taxpayers, are obligated to pay more to fill their hole. Look at my sig.....that is my advice to this administration.

If your going to fight the government, withholding taxes is the last way to do it. The government is good at going in and ceasing property. After a few homes are taken the people soon cave and send their money. This has happened several times on small tax revolts and was quickly crushed.

If you want to fight the government, never let them know its you. Overwhelm the system, lean computer hacking. I small group of people, a few hundred, for example could wreck such havoc that the government would be tied in knots.

There are so many things that would disrupt society, I'm surprised it hasn't happened. Here are just a couple of things that could be done by a small group, if they really wanted to cause problems.
!) Set Fires when the wind is high all on the same day. How do you stop 100 people setting fires on queue.
2) The power grid can be disrupted very easily. 100 people randomly shorting the grid, almost impossible to stop.
3) I won't give the electronic ideas as they are simple but devastating (don't need people doing this without cause.

If you think about these things you can quickly add many items to the list. If our society was totally disrupted people would get angry and change the government. It only takes a small group to get it started.

Personally I don't believe in this path as the average citizen would have their life upended. The better way to do things is to start a new party dedicated to government reform.

Rebellion yes. But not with guns. People opposed to Obamacare, should get a grassroots effort going to refuse to pay taxes.

Can you imagine how it would cripple the government if millions of people just said NO. How much of a financial hole it would put the administration in. How it would catch on like a wild fire....

Refuse to pay taxes? You ever try that?

The IRS is never one to F with. Them cut-throats will garnish your wages or get your drivers license and passport suspended and get you arrested. If you go that route you better change your name and address.

Ummm set fires and burn fellow citizens to death? You're speaking of terrorism which would change nothing. It would actually make everything worse because the government would make more tyrannical laws.

Really awful ideas.......Murderous ideas...

Oklahoma City Dentist Charged with Committing Health Care Fraud

The information alleges that from July 12, 2007 through December 31, 2010, Lockwood engaged in a scheme to defraud Medicaid by submitting claims for dental services that she did not provide. Specifically, it is alleged that Lockwood recorded in the patient’s treatment notes that she had placed dental restorations on certain teeth when, in fact, she had not treated the teeth at all.

Dental Abuse of U.S. Poor Dodges Ejection from Medicaid

The authorities backed off after the company, Church Street Health Management LLC, said eliminating its government funding might cause clinics to close and disrupt care to thousands of poor children. Nashville-based Church Street manages 63 dental centers under the Small Smiles, Wild Smiles and other “Smiles” brands in 21 states.

You know, pro-lifers will be the first to refuse to pay taxes as Obamacare will use federal funds to pay for elective abortions. More Americans claim to be pro-life than pro-choice.

Obamacare is NOT supported by the majority of Americans.

What concerns me more is our choices in this upcoming election. We have a Hugo Chavez/Che Guevara wannabe against a Democrat parading around as a Republican.

Armed rebellion?

Just more lunacy from the right.

To those who agree that is cause for armed rebellion I have to ask, "what are you scared of?"

The election is just a mere months away and if the American people are so opposed to the SCOTUS ruling you all should win the elections in a landslide taking full control of congress and the White House. So what are you scared of? Afraid that Romney doesn't have a chance along with all the other wingnut candidates the Republicans will be putting out there this fall?

Dont you believe in elections anymore?

People are begining to fear the government with their takeover of liberty. Obamcare is a prime example.

Do I believe in elections, nope, not any more. There is too much corruption in the process, just look no further than how Al Franken stole the election in Minnesota. You elect candidates promising to cut the budget, but all we get is more spending. We now have ideots running things that will destroy our country.
