I believe you I had a similiar experience a couple of years back, only I saw these boxes through a telescope but the were not lit up as you describe I saw two black container ship style craft coming back down to ground/earth.
I saw them fly across the face of the moon (hence the telescope) and I literally jumped out of my skin.

p.s. What made me think is that these things are not even aerodynamic as in not even close, so whatever Tech is being deployed it's way far ahead of what we know of. IMHO.

Could these boxes actually be cargo suspended from cables being transported by aircraft?

I agree with all the phone cameras theses days, somebody else would have put up a video to YouTube. There are sky watchers who are always armed with cameras ready to go. According to its flight path in that detailed description, there would have been other sightings at that time of night. Not like it was 4 am

Maybe their is other footage out there, but if its military with that has it you most likely wont see it, if its anyone else maybe they are afraid to show it. give it some time they will show up.

After seeing hundreds of debunked UFO stories on ATS, and then this, im not convinced. I would have thought someone would have substaniated his claims by now, but nothing.

Umm, i thought it was already posted that it was seen by others on that map showing the different locations it was spotted.

in this day in age, threads like this are purely debunked by virtue of the fact that there is no footage or photographs. Almost everybody has a smart phone so there should be no such thing as a lack of evidence (as is apparent in this thread).

The problem is if there had of been pictures or video what would they have shown , points of light in the dark , they would have been next to useless and taken us no further forward .

UFO reports like this rely solely on the credibility of the witness , I believe in this case the credibility of this witness is good so I take him at his word , he saw what he saw and its down to us to try and find an explanation for that given the information we have .

As I said earlier in the thread the case is still young , more reports may follow in the days to come , if not it will remain an Unidentified Flying Object .

Also bare in mind, even if you find another possible explanation that would only be one possibility out of a list of them. But if he had any interaction with the craft, then he himself would know that the other explanations were improbable compared with what he himself believed.

Here's a report of perhaps a similar, cube shaped ufo in Kansas from the 60's.

I started wondering about that as I laid in bed last night. They way they were lit up, if they were boxes suspended by something and there was a light aimed at them it could have looked exactly like what I saw. The only problem is that I didn't see anything with the typical FAA lights that could have been suspending them or lighting them. Also, as large as they were, it would have taken a massive plane to suspend them, which would explain the deep jet-engine roar, but if they were suspended from something, surely I could have seen it too?

I do have a smartphone, and I did think about taking some pics, but I know my phone is not good at taking pics at night, and the flash was surely not going to do any good. I didn't think about the audio, but that might have been interesting.

What I did think to do was run in and post it on ATS as quickly as possible, while my Mom and Dad and Wife were still outside watching them go over the horizon. I was really hoping to pick up a couple of more witnesses that way. My Mom and Dad do not have smart phones, they just have regular old flip phones and "Straight Talk" plans from Walmart, LOL! My wife does have a smartphone, so smart that she has no idea how to use it.

Really though, it would have been 3 yellow dots, and 2 white dots, if it took anything at all. The only reason I know the detail is because I could watch them through the binoculars.

I'm sure other people saw it, and I hope they upload some videos or pictures at some point. Even if these had just been new unmarked jets in transport for a sale somewhere (which I have seen a time or two), it is still a pretty significant sight to see several aircraft flying in formation, so I'm sure other people had to have seen it last night.

Yeah I've heard that to but it's one of those theories as to where you just have to say "Really..?" and pretty much question it. I mean I know it's possible but sometimes..I don't know just something that kind of makes you roll your eyes a bit.

you have a smart phone , you're looking at a ufo , but you don't even attempt one single pic because you don't think your phone will give any evidence at all. um yeah i hope you understand why people won't simply listen to a story when you could have had something to show.

ill tell u this, if i see a ufo ill try taking a pic even in a rainstorm at night with any piece of crap cell phone camera.

You know what I mean. I'm not saying you didn't see something, but the burden is on you to kinda have some evidence, ya know? Otherwise it's pretty much a non-event.
