I have the perfect rebuttal. Was NDAA put in motion through democratic process or through special interests? `nuff said... You cannot blame one thing on another. Everything is its own thing. Nice try.

MVH, og ha det bra,

Recently, I formally joined the Communist Party. I have lost long time friends, certain family has disowned me, even my fiancé has left me because of it. Are there any other members of this forum out there that have joined the Communist Party whom have lost their friends and family? I am interested to see how people react to such a thing. In the West, people have learnt to hate communism and instantly abandon anybody with communist leanings. I will admit, I could be wrong for my beliefs, but has anybody else out there been ostracized for believing that communism is the answer?

MVH,
Josef

Lol the O.P isn't even American.

Why are you so mad though? America is supposed to be a symbol of freedom, and that extends to Social freedoms and the freedom to believe and follow any political system that you like.

Communism is a political system that is used by corrupt individuals in order to have tighter control over everything.

Communism is the final stage of the evolution of the economy. It has nothing to do with governments.

The ultimate goal of all left-wing, not liberalism, ideologies is free association...

In the anarchist, Marxist and socialist sense, free association (also called free association of producers or, as Marx often called it, community of freely associated individuals) is a kind of relation between individuals where there is no state, social class or authority, in a society that has abolished the private property of means of production. Once private property is abolished, individuals are no longer deprived of access to means of production so they can freely associate themselves (without social constraint) to produce and reproduce their own conditions of existence and fulfill their needs and desires.

en.wikipedia.org...

But of course all you posters debating against communism already know and understand this right? If you don't then how can you argue against it? You are arguing against it based on other peoples lies.

All left-wing terms have been demonized, and taken out of context, by those who feel threatened by it's message, those who make their wealth from the exploitation of labour.

I applaud you! You hold the original liberal mentality of thinking. I feel the same way. Although somebody may disagree with me, I would die to defend their right to say what they wish. That is the essence of communism. Tusen takk.

Josef

No, Cuba is NOT communist. Just because a political party calls themselves "communist" doesn't mean they are. Just like North Korea isn't "democratic".

Actual communism was never implemented on a national scale, anywhere. Every time someone tries, it quickly deteriorates into a dictatorship. Why? Because communism would require people to be fair to each other and satisfied with having just as much as everyone else, while in reality, we are jealous, greedy, power-hungry animals.

It's a nice idea, but as long as there isn't some radical change to human psychology (or alternatively, only one person left alive
), it can't possibly work.

No, I am not pro-american. Why would you ever think so? By the way, GO RON PAUL!!! I am not Amerikkkan, but I love him.

It is clear you have already been bitten by the anti-American bug of the communist party from the fact that you type 3 k's in the name America. Have you been listening to Jeremiah Wright by any chance? But of course, that's not all. You have been bitten by the Progressive ideals such as everyone being equal by force of a central govt. This is a foolish notion. It will always require a martial force to enforce the dictates of a communist govt.

Karl Marx believed that the State would wither away, but we have yet to see where that has happened. Both Marx and Lenin stated that a ruling elite would have to run things meantime.

I have nothing to say to you other than you are 100% correct, in my way of thinking. As for those others that are bigots, I will admit that I am wrong if I am shown otherwise. I used to be 100% pro-amerikan. I was shown other information and my view changed. If you disagree with me, PLEASE prove me wrong. I am not afraid to admit that I am wrong and change my views.

The basic idea behind communism which is, everyone is equal no matter what race, gender, or what job you have, is good. However most people on this site look at the now defunct USSR when they hear the term "Communism". There's a lot of misinformation about left wing politics, thanks to the neo-cons relying on fear mongering and smear campaigns to turn people against political systems that would benefit the general population instead of Corporations.

You see examples of that every day on this site, neo-cons complain about welfare and their taxes going towards feeding hungry Americans, but yet the majority of them support corporate tax cuts.

What difference does it make? Communism failed in the Soviet Union whether it was under Lenin, Stalin, or Kruschev. Which of those 3 leaders made it successful? Communism has also failed in Cuba, that is unless you don't mind those crummy clinics with dead people in the beds, and the byol (bring your own linens) model, or having toilet paper shortages(that really happened a year or so ago).

I find it really amusing that certain intellectual idealists try to dismiss the actual communist insurgents wherever they have appeared as not being really communist. Communists have had no problem whatever using guerilla warfare to achieve their ends, as we know from the model revolutionary Che guevara.

Yes that is the transition period. I am not a supporter of Marx and his transition period. Well actually it was Engels transition period. Engels was the main author of the 'Commy Festo", Marx just updated Engels original drought after a meeting of the IWMA.

That is not going to happen if you just sit around waiting for it. This is the problem, people no longer get involved in grass roots politics, just talk about mainstream media BS "polotiks". If you want the state to be gone, get on with it...
