You wont even believe it right out of his mouth? I am not wasting my time with you dude. You wont believe it if he showed up at your door and said it to your face.
He lies and I could find you sources all over the internet to tell you one thing and then the other and back and forth.
Go vote for him again and then next term if he is re elected and you get laid off because he trashes things worse you will have more time to sit and argue with people on the internet.
It is obvious you are never going to believe anything more than what you do now and when confronted with the truth you ignore it. We have been through this before and you refuse to listen to reason and logic. If there were a way to block all of your posts from my view I would. They are useless space.

1. The computer you're typing on is a result of capitalism.
Actually most research and design of computers (and the internet and the components of computers) came from government funding and within the University system.
The retail sale of them to the public is the biggest capitalist part of "computers"...the development of it can largely be seen as a socialist achievement.
Ironically, capitalism is a system that is totally based on allowing people the freedom to choose for themselves what's in their own best interest.
Your view of capitalism is warped. Capitalism has nothing to do with freedom or choice...it is an economic model...it can exist under total tyranny or it can exist under total freedom. So can socialism.edit on 7-6-2012 by OutKast Searcher because: (no reason given)
Again with the tired old pitch that military benefits are some kind of Socialist Ideal.
Sorry, massive failure ahead for you.
Those RETIREMENT benefits are benefits from being in the military for 20 + years. Not for sitting on one's butt doing nothing.

cas sundstien's plan was to infiltrate the internet boards to make sure any troothful discussions get obfuscated or derailed
Im begining to believe that it is in full swing
wouldn't it be cheeper and more effective to not have to run expensive scams like that and just get an honest politician in like Ron Paul...?
then the guv could afford things like proper healthcare for the peeps and to keep its obligations to care for the troops and vets up

Are those benefits paid with tax payer dollars???
Socialist programs aren't evil...but ignoring facts is not good.

What would be great if you would prove that I am spreading disinformation instead of just hoping that people reading this will believe you. I have posted videos to back up what I am saying. Exactly what have you done other than try your hardest to yell and scream over everyone else jumping up and down to say "listen to me, listen to me". Again, Wasted space on this thread. Move along now. Post some facts, some sources, some videos, whatever you can to prove I am wrong. Please do.edit on 7-6-2012 by TheTardis because: (no reason given)

It is funded via tax dollars yes.
But, it is not a Welfare program.
Nor is it for the masses or for every citizen.
For someone that tries so hard to force others to work within certain confines of definitions, you sure do like playing fast and loose for you own sake.
You must remember that the military pays all those taxes as well. Only a small percentage of military actually retire. They signed the contract and were promised benefits, and considering what they go through...they deserve them.
But those same benefits are under constant attack so others who don't contribute can get a free govmint check. I know that is a broad brush, but I see it daily and it grates my nerve.
Definition of ENTITLEMENT
1 a: the state or condition of being entitled : right
b: a right to benefits specified especially by law or contract
2: a government program providing benefits to members of a specified group; also: funds supporting or distributed by such a program

So is the information OP provided with Obama's picture and name in it NOT sufficient in your eyes to admit he at least, at one time, was socialist? Why attack the messenger and not the message? Why do you misdirect the thread?

The founder of the New Party has stated they were never a Socialist party.
Obama was never a "member"...he just receieved an endorsement from The New Party as he ran as a Democrat.
Tell me...if he was a member of "The New Party" when he was running for Illinois Senate...how could he also be running as a Democrat in the exact same election???
I wouldn't honestly care if he was ever a member of a Socialist party...because I don't have an irrational fear of the word. I don't support full Socialism...but I do support some socialist programs and regulations.
