This is not one of his better pictures. But here is my Maine Coon boy as a kitten posing as the Sphynx. And yes I always thought the Sphynx was supposed to be a cat. Was I wrong?

Anyways, I told the tale here before about my old cat Whiskers. I woke up one night to find her changing the time on my alarm clock with 2 paws. She was holding down one button with her one paw and changing the time by tapping the other button. That was way too complicated for a cat to be doing.

Nah I don't think cats can be spies. But they are my most favorite animal and topic.

Not sure about cats being alien spies....
But I've always never cared for them. I think they always look like they're better than everyone else. Very prissy and judgmental. Sad that that's how I see cats lol. But seriously they're strange creatures that make me uncomfortable.

Was walking down the street today with my daughter and a cat that was in a Bush came out and just stared at us as we walked by. Not cool.

This theory however I do enjoy lol. Would make more sense to me actually as to why they act the way they do.

Interesting. One interesting thing though, if you add the reptilian conspiracy etc is that my cat at least has eyes that are exactly the same as my pet lizard.

This is obviously not me saying that cats are lizards at all! But it's just an observation. It would be interesting to know how many mammals have this slit like pupil shape. I can't think of any others off the top of my head.

I have a cat myself and i don't really believe they are an alien species (the idea has been discussed before on ats i believe)

What i DO believe is that they can see spirits (or ghosts, by lack of a better word), and even guard their owners from them.

I've been hearing and seeing things almost all my life, though not as nefarious as your "case"

What strikes me as odd (and relieving) though, is that it seemed to have stopped ever since i got a cat (a black one i might add
)

My cat is always close to me and sleeps on a cabinet in my bedroom. I regularly hear her "patrolling" the house in the middle of the night, as if she's actively chasing out whatever is there.. Maybe something to concider?

But what i also think is that almost every animal has a higher connection to the world surrounding them than humans, not just cats.

Not a cat, a lion, looking at the constellation of Leo.

But a feline nevertheless.

I have a kitten, they are stupid. They might do funny things and have their own characteristics, but dogs are a hell of a lot smarter and beneficial.... Y do you think when a building is on fire, theirs always cats stuck inside, a dog is smart and will find a way out.

Owls are another story..... Their suppose to be Omens... And when i see or hear a owl close by, something usually happens soon.

Wow, a thread sure to bring out the loons / overly creative thinkers on here

Sorry, but its true, we have some bloody fantastic posters on the forums but we also have the troll and loon division just hunting for threads to parade their alternative look at real life. Never have I seen so many fantastical claims as on ATS, the weed imbalanced grey cells and the genuinely ill people just love ATS.

And yes, I'm aware of the irony of the last statement based on my sig...

Cats as Alien servants..Lol...

I wish, my wife and I have 5 cats now, we had 13 at one point but re-homing brought us down to 5. These are wonderful creatures, very intelligent, very receptive to human emotions and very accurate senses, ie knowing when their mum (my wife) has returned to the block and is about to put the key in the lock.

But please no, although cats are indeed ultra observant and spatially aware almost all the time I doubt they have any connection to anyone else bar us humans and their own kind although I do have a cat who is thick as thieves with the local foxes, he plays with them all the time.

This myth about deliberate suffocation is just that, cats scrutinise the human face, they understand from our faces the 'mood' we are in and what empathy we have at that moment, the cat will also smell our breath which is just a trust / meeting instinct, there's no deliberate attempt at suffocation.

Cats WILL sit on their favourite owner while the owner sleeps, this is a partnership thing, its the ultimate in trust and bonding.

NOT an attempt to kill you for aliens...

Stroke em if you have em...

Oddly...this is not the first time this has been discussed here...

Cats are Alien Camcorders!

When I first saw this thread on the home page I thought: Only on ATS. Now I see that not only is something as ridiculous as this on ATS, but it has been here before. Its honestly hilarious and a perfect testament to how open minded ATS can be. Though I guess there have also been threads saying the same thing but with birds or owls.

The funny thing is that I have pondered the idea myself. Mainly because of cats presence in Ancient Egyptian culture.

However I also remember that Robot chicken does a lot of "cats are evil" segments in their show. In fact on skit showed a guy showing cats present in major historical events, like the JFK assassination, and was insinuating that their was a "cat conspiracy". One guy even said something like "So your saying that their is a massive international cat conspiracy". Then the guy giving the presentation unmasked himself and was a cat in disguise. Was just a joke, but I found it to be a rather odd one.

Lot of interesting things on the front page today

Another story indeed

Their presence in both ancient and modern culture has been much darker and far more encompassing.

Hehe I can just see my cat at the secret transmitter in the garage
"cat to base, come in"
"mothership responding, what does the feline have to report?"
"uhh nothing much to see down here, would reccomend leaving planet alone for forseeable future"
"very well, please report back next week"
"thank you, err, masters, but I must go now, I can smell freshly boiled chicken thighs and I dont want to make the human suspicious by, uhh, not eating it immediately. then, to further throw him off the scent, I shall crap behind the couch, then lie on the cushion on the windowsill and sleep for 18 hours. that should fool y... I mean him"
"you truly are an asset in our galactic domination plan, agent feline. over and out"

My cats are observing my chickens like all the time...
I guess that can only mean chickens are far more intresting to aliens then men... lol

On the other side, cats are strange creatures (I own 3 of them) and they smell it when your sick, they want to take care of you by keeping you warm... Or perhaps they just like it when you're lying flat and they can sit/lay on you...

Sometimes I've got the impression they can understand what we're saying but I guess it's all just coincidence and my mind playing games... or not? Anyway I love those little bastards...
