Very good thread! I was worried about this exact scenario until a couple months ago. I was browsing YouTube and stumbled upon an Oath Keepers video and it was so powerful and refreshing. It was a huge boost to my faith and pride!

Oath Keepers does have a powerful message and that message is spreading like a wildfire. A lot of serious violations to our rights can be avoided if those tasked with upholding the constitution actually know what it says…and that is Oath Keepers main mission....to educate, inform and unite all those who have taken the oath.

The military steadfastly refusing to use their brains, by itself, is not the problem. They're taught not to, very deliberately, and very specifically.

The real problem is Colonel Jessup Syndrome. Soldiers who are not only brainwashed, stupid, and ignorant to the point of total delusion, but who, while maintaining said ignorance, are also convinced that they are right, and insist on attempting to angrily and belligerently force feed civilians the same manure that they have willingly swallowed themselves.

There are an increasing number of people running around bad mouthing honorable Americans who made a choice to serve their country. It is strikingly ignorant to judge people you’ve never met and then criticize their service when you are unwilling and likely incapable of making that same sacrifice.

Why do you buy into that stereotype that military service is reserved for the dumbest of our society? Is it too difficult for you to grasp that MAYBE we love our country and want to secure the future of our country for our children and grandchildren? Is it unimaginable that there are selfless people willing to risk their own safety for the benefit of others? If military service is reserved only for the dumbest, most ignorant among us then I suggest you pseudo intellectuals hurry up and start reproducing.

Just remember - The country you enjoy today wouldn’t be here without the sacrifice of a great many of those “brainwashed, stupid, ignorant” men and women that you freely criticize. And for the record, the only reason you get away with insulting comments like that is because WE LET YOU!!

The programmers of the machine, which is replacing 'the military', are to be held accountable in ways we cannot discuss, let alone imagine. That the programming is about to include subliminal means of determining allegiance, allegiance to 'following orders', is known to those who are honest with themselves, but they try to not talk about this, even over liquor enticements. One thing is for sure. We do not want the military as anything other than our friend. Let those who hold positions of authority know that even were they, all of them, to do what is right, and disobey orders of evil, the machine will do what it was programmed to do, even if it has to read minds, on the fly, while cleaning up dissident thought carriers. It won't be a pretty sight. Maybe then, the question you thoughtfully posit, will be realized by us all.

Who is making the similar changes, in YOUR town? Daily I take in the rahmbytes. Daily I ponder this man's measured time on earth. The photo/press ops have become less frequent. The red carpet he strode upon, as chief of staff, under the words 'forceful, powerful men to solve powerful problems', has been replaced with a facade of civil servitude.

Listen, c'mon. The military will only turn on the citizens who exhibit zombie-like behavior. If you aren't trying to eat someone's brains, you'll most likely be on the right side of the firing line. With all the weird behavior and cannibalism lately, you must know that the zombie apocalypse is near here. It's coming. And who will protect you? The men and women of the United States armed forces, of course!

Not going to matter, because all of those scenarios are going to happen across a period of several years. Time is winding down to the Appointed Time.

Laugh and scoff but all this stuff was prophecied in the Holy Bible and it will come to pass. Even the 2012 event where our solar system lines up with the center of the galaxy was prophecied, as well as economic collapse, nasty earthquakes, radiation leaks, famines, droughts, pandemics and more wars. It's all there. If you pay attention to current world events all of this is lining up right on time. We're at the end of the 6th day.

I'm not sure. The RCMP used to be one of the most respected police services in the world, but lately, the collective attitude has shifted from loyalty to the people, to "look how tough I am". A lot of them view most citizens as sub human, or at least lower than themselves. A few months ago a huge smuggling ring was uncovered that involved 900 officers illegally smuggling drugs and weapons (based of Vancouver, of coarse).

I am really not sure if they will defend us. What if they are granted permission to enter the new world? Will they prize their survival over doing the right thing? All I can do is speak for myself in saying that I would gladly die for your freedom. But would they?

This ideology being spewed is proof of
those who wish to take Americans moral, freedom, and rights
away from the people are being brainwashed.
Someone who spouts this is proof that the enemies
of America are taking full advantage of open minded
individuals who think they are too smart to be brainwashed.

The brainwashing has taken hold of people like this who
willingly bite the hand that feeds them, not noticing the real
enemy has their mind in chains.

If the center of the galaxy is a super massive black hole then it has two opposing poles of ejecta - by lined up people are referring to being caught in the direct path of either pole.

You need only look at U.S. history to see if the military would open fire on Americans.
The Bonus Marchers in D.C.( all of which were vets), students at Kent State, the little known use of Army snipers in the U.S. during the 1960's. Just a few examples. Now with the all volunteer military I think the answer to the question is clear.

The military won't turn against their own people, trust me.

The UN stormtroopers are the ones that don't necesarilly care about Americans so...they might.

I won't turn against the people of the United States, i'm a US Soldier but not a US citizen...go figure.

Kent State and your other examples are legit but do you think those small, isolated incidents are any indication of the military's response to a large scale, national martial law scenario?

That's like comparing a backyard flag football game to the Superbowl IMO.

Ok now that makes complete sense. Very familiar with all branches. The entire family has served except me and i contracted a couple decades ago, so we all stand the same. Not even a loser spouse in the mix lol.

Totally agree. At first it was sounding like you supported a fragmented command chain.

From what I've heard from the military friends that I have made, if it gets to that point, I was pleased at the fact they said they would not follow that order.

However, the fact that they are even considering this option and walking down this path is unsettling at best. And what's even more infuriating is that the people lie down and just let it happen. If people would just open their eyes and stop dismissing the voices that are speaking against this as 'drug-laden hippies', it would be a much better and much more open minded and cautious society.

Meh.. not too worried to be honest. Unlike some people think, pretty much all the military folks I knew when I served, excepting a couple gung-ho, hurah! cases, would steadfastly refuse to turn a gun on an American citizen for unjust reasons. I just don't see it happening. They are human. They have families and friends outside of the military. Most would never even consider such a thing.

And piling everything into one huge ball of chaos doesn't mean the world is falling apart. Flares? Nibiru? Seriously? The world has and had always had and will ALWAYS have strife of one sort or another. It's called life. And imo, if the SHTF, the military and citizens would work TOGETHER to fix it. Look at any natural disaster that has occurred in the last 100 years. Does the military and civilians suddenly go to war? No, usually, the best comes out of folks (and sadly for some, the worst). But I see them working together. No.. I don't think we are doomed, and that we'll suddenly have martial law, and that soldiers will shoot their previous friends and neighbors. That's not reality, even though, sadly, I know many here would love such a scenario.

Also, to someone who said we are already in martial law. Not much to say other than Such spoiled Americans. You have no idea what rough is. What martial law and communism REALLY is. Omg.. I can't dance at a monument! I'm being subjugated to martial law omg!
