it's too bad that was all you guys got out of this video. whether you agree with her or not, what is staggeringly important here are the cries of support that she gets from the rest of the audience and the fact that her sentiments are shared by A LOT of people in this country right now.
i think racism is weak and only hurts us all by dividing us but i can understand where she is coming from. she feels war is being waged on her community. from her point of view, her community must unite or die.
besides, 95% of her message had more to do with economics than race.
leaving aside your estimates of percentage- she is the racist here, you do know that right

it's amazing how you got that just from her saying "black panthers" considering nothing else remotely race related was even brought up. your logic is highly flawed

not my logic, she brought them up!
The ironic thing is that group/race thinkers like this, are exactly the types of people that those in charge love- they are easy to divide and conquer

please explain to me how simply saying "black panthers" is racist considering their history with cops and what the meeting was about in the first place. gotta love people who focus on the thing that ISN"T even the issue at hand. and try reading the other pages before you comment next time. this has already been settled and I don't really feel like going over it for a 4th time

She had no reason to bring up this race based group other than to promote a race based/group agenda- like I said putty in the hands of the elite

You should take the earlier advice and read through this thread, especially the last page..
The Black Panthers were not a racist group, they worked side by side with white people, and white revolutionary groups such as the White Panthers.
It is you who is projecting your racism.
The New Black Panthers though is a different organization completely, and she was not talking about them.

yeah lets change history all of a sudden
the group was founded on racism and not protecting black people from racist cops imported to oakland from the south.
you obviously don't have a clue as to what you are talking about. she had every reason to mention them in the context that she did. I already broke it down for someone else it's back on page 2 or 3 go read it and quit being a troll

and one last time for the people who feel themselves too busy to read the initial pages. there is NO comparison that can be made between a white power organization such as the kkk and the original black panthers. the kkk indiscriminately killed non whites. the black panthers killed racist southern cops who were denying people of basic human rights. they only had problems with people not following the initial ideology of the group once Huey Newton was arrested and they got more new members than they could effectively keep in line. that has nothing to do with the core principals the group was founded on

I have read it
working hand in hand with other race based groups does nothing, erm, to dilute the racist aspect of this organisation
really it is not- I did not bring up a race based/group based grouping- this lady did, and it discredits her stance and makes her nothing more than a potential patsy
both racist, but different, yes

Great all you need to do know is understand it.
So what is the racists aspect of that group? (Not this group because they don't exist anymore)
Really it is. Nobody bought up a race based group, except you and some other posters who want to focus on race and not the message.
So to you just because blacks organize to better their community and fight racism, that makes them racist?
Do you think the White Panthers were racist?
It's pretty obvious it's you who has the racial problem, and want the BP to be racist in order to justify your own hate.
Even if they were racist they had some justification for it, unlike whites.
How quickly people forget their own history.

fully understand it thank you
Are you serious- let us start with the name "BLACK", not white, asian, latino etc, but BLACK.
From this flowed their agendas which primarily focussed on the notion of "black" as a group and the "WHITE" as the other- it is a group think organisation which promotes identity and community based on RACE!
This lady did, remember, the BLACK PANTHERS (as in black people as a group who reference the "black community", "black people", "black men" etc all about the black)
If they set up groups based on race this makes them racist, for frig sake yes yes yes, how stupid can people be- the focus on "BLACK" as a group, this is racist, it dehumanises and focuses on the "other"
yes
give over, me pointing out racism does not make me racist, I shine a light on racist groups, racists get outraged, boo hoo
what ridiculous reasoning- so if a white man was mugged by a black he has an excuse to be racist?
Either racism is bad or it isn't, don't give excuses for some racists and not others, what a pathetic weasely outlook]
he was full of contradictions, like those who excuse the black panthers, they, on the one hand, promote racial and group identity, then talk about doing the opposite- still doesn't negate their inherent group think approach
Some white leftists lap that stuff up, they are worse than the panthers, they bend over backwards and lie down for them
