You are completely correct in that, thats the problem thats at hand.... So how can catch 22 stop? Where's the action? How can we take the action needed... There's no doubt in my mind that a group of people can stop this loop of nonsense....

but we are in a country where we go from one extreme to another. Before 9/11 we were not being careful... Now we are shutting down airports because a baby may have a bomb...

I think this revival (May 1st) may be a new OWS... Something that more than just the people complaining about student debt can get on board... I noticed the Episcopalian Church is getting on board (thats my church) and I hate to say it they are always on the forefront of things like this... Trying to do whats right.... I think it's because of people like you that this nation is going to be a completely totalitarian fascist state within the next twenty years. Enjoy having your entire life monitored, controlled, and restricted by the government that doesn't protect you when you don't agree with what its doing. The founding fathers would be rolling in their graves.

Even if you don't agree with what they protested for, everyone in this country should have the right to assembly and the right to protest any dam thing they want no matter how ridiculous.

actually quite the opposite... I dont want them in any faction of my life... which is why I haven't been supporting OWS in the first place...

its actually the opposite... I follow laws, rules and regulations.... OWS hasnt.. illegal protesting, hacking via anon... creates more and more legislation

What exactly are you defining as illegal protest? Oh and Anon isn't directly linked to OWS as far as I know. He supported it but I don't know if he was directly involved...Anon seems to be a stand alone entity that merely puts forth his/her influence where he/she thinks it will help the most.


Oh and legislation will happen whether OWS exists or not. Mostly because that way your easier to control. To me your just part of the sheeple.

The permitting process.. Each city and state has its own process of obtaining permits for peaceful displays of protest.. This involves bringing portable toilets and the works...

The original problem I had with this (and maybe its a west coast difference as it seems to be) was they looked like they were just squatting... The homeless people flocked to the encampment... But you call yourselves the 99% when you are alienating and flaming people for disagreeing....

That's not how a peaceful protest works...

Honestly I think that even though you and I and our respective groups of people who think similar to ourselves, disagree to our cores ideologically, we have to meet on that common ground that is the Constitution, we have to protect each other even if we disagree bitterly. I have to make sure your rights are protected even if I hate what you say, what you do how think or act and you have to do the same for me. "They" thrive on our division, our hatred...they know we are petty and laugh when the other fails. After, I don't know...I have no idea what comes after we firmly re-establish our power but we cannot lose that power and we have to gain back the power we have lost.

From the media we have to demand honesty and fairness, we have to caveat our critiques and disapproval with "but they have the right". From our politicians we need to tell not ask that they not sign any law that impedes our rights we need to demand they hold to the Constitution and never act against it. I guess from there (I'm answering my own question) we wipe the slate clean take all the laws and the tax code off the books and write new common sense ones, which I'm sure we will argue about but it has to happen. Sometimes you get so cluttered you just have to throw everything away.

Actually I couldn't agree more with you.

Sometimes a fresh slate is the best way to go about things... and you are right about the constitution... I think there might be some major bias and even some corruption at OWS in its core (maybe once again its a west coast issue)
