WTF? Facism is corporatism. It is the the merger of corporations to the government where they control the government. This is what's is happening now. It's not dems vs gop. They are both owned and controlled by multinational cororations, who are owned by the federal reserve, the international banking cartel. I believe it was an attitude that propelled all that happened...

I suppose they did look at themselves too much, but it was not critically, had they look
at themselves critically, Hitler would of had a very hard time furthering his agenda.

My point here is that three right wing ATS members have proposed that none of the tyrannical
ideologies of the 20th century are in fact right wing. Beyond the point that I know better, there is the
point that regarding one self as completely perfect as ideology is actually a strong component of
all the tyrannical ideologies of the 20th century.

I the perfect right wing America elected a REAL tyrant (not just an idiot or and asshole) I fear
the core ideology is built around being unaware, which would make opposing the tyrants agenda very
hard to do.

The cold facts are that both sides are full of ignorant, easily manipulated people too busy with survival and/or media to act (i.e. vote) in their own best interests.

Either choice this year in the U.S. will bring more of the same as long as we remain stupid and the monied interests are able to place whomever they wish as our "choices."

It's also true that the new right is far more ignorant and selfish than the left and are even more prone to act against their own economic interests.

Obama is just continuing the work that Bush started (with the continuation of the Patriot Act, signing the NDAA and ACTA).....and with the next election Obama might get his second term, or if not I am quite sure Romney is a fine candidate to promote the elites agenda.

I will try to step back and not get in to why and how the Nazis' were 'allowed' to come to power and if they did or didn't critically look at themselves, clearly 'we' can look at them critically, from an historical point and debate and question.

I do understand where you are coming from, however, I have attempted to point out that the labels such as left wing and right wing are actually, in my opinion, moribund..

These are labels that were coined in a different era and yet we, you, are still using them. The purpose of these terms is to divide, to differentiate a persons ideology and to allow each other to identify our affiliation to a 'party'.
The reality is people are much more diverse with their opinions and terms and labels from a different era do not quite describe who a person is and what they believe, indeed I find it too simplistic and pointless.

As I have tried to explain, left wing and right wing, taken to the extreme are the same thing; think of a circle where each wing meets.

Left and right... It is nonsense.

So, this is the second response where you have failed to prove that Obama is creating a Federal
Police force that is replacing the real one... It is certainly weak, I would be embarrassed to
operate like you do here, but seems like you make things up and lie on purpose. When someone

Obama has about 6 months left in his term and so far he has not become dictator, killed
all his political rivals, ended free speech, erected statues or placed his face on currency.

Not really trying to interrupt your conversation with sonny, but Hitler didn't just come in and do everything within a few years. There was a steady progression of events that allowed him to gain complete control in Germany.

The steady erosion of our rights is happening right before our eyes, and all some of you can do is belittle someone else that doesn't profess to be in your political party. No, Obama hasn't done anything yet, but one can see he is laying down the stepping stones that other presidents can use to subjugate the public.

Yugoslaviia certainly was not a fascist state. Tito was a dictator, but his philosophy was socialist. Under the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia racism and ethnic group was less of an issue. Afterwards, when right wing nationalism came to the fore it all exploded.

But the charge is that Obama is going to take over America as a dictator like Hitler.
Obama has 12% of his term left and he has not done the things Glenn Beck or
weak sauce Sonny have proclaimed in regards to totalitarian rule. Obama is not
setting up the political climate like Hitler, Obama's supporters haven't militarized,

I find exhausting to have to explain this to you. It is actually offensive to me to
