Public office requires public review of documents that qualify you for that office. Its part of "public trust" except our governement has lost a lot of creditablity and and "public trust".

Where? Where does it say that? The whole crux of this case is whether or not the Obama campaign met the requirements of the New Jersey Constitution. When state constitutions even mention a candidate submitting their qualifications for office in order to be listed on a ballot, it is generally phrased along the lines of: "The candidate must certify to the Secretary of State that they meet the requirements for office." They could simply write: "I certify I am qualified for office" in crayon on a bar napkin and that, technically, would suffice.
