The US Geological Survey said the epicentre was at the west coast of northern Sumatra in Indonesia at 3:45 pm.

Just look back at a quake thread when NZ was hit, There where quite a few who got quicker updates from ATS than anywhere else! Some seen more what was happening in there town than they could see themselves as they where holed up inside. inturn helping them to get safe.
