Well then you obviously aren't on the 'target' list for Muslims. I am. My dad is. My girlfriend is. I have been subject to direct abuse from plenty of Muslims so I'm sorry but your views are meaningless to me. I did not grow up hating Islam - in fact, as a child I used to like Religious Education class and got top marks consistently - nope, just as respect is earned so is hate. I respect I good many people in the world, but Islam has well and truly earned disgust.

I don't EXPECT you to believe anything - and many of the criticisms you make of Islam are entirely valid - I find homophobia a perversity in itself, in this day and age. However, it is misguided to believe that this is solely a Muslim problem or that they are the reason why it is still an issue in Britain or the West in this day and age.

The extreme of any minority acts in extreme ways - this is not restricted solely to Muslims, by any means.

The video is clearly biased, of course it'll be lots of muslims during a march and give the impression her hometown is "taken" by them, also I can understand the annoyance she caused during the arguments she engaged. But sure there are the extremists and for dealing with them I have a very simple suggestion: just give each one £10k, a couple goats or a camel and escort them wherever they choose in middle east or Africa, where their laws and culture are acceptable, they are bound to be much happier there.

My comments were about this discussion, not just what you have said. Sorry that I can't give you my complete, undivided attention!

However, I will refer specifically to what you said here - that you think you are on a Muslim target list. Well, I don't shadow you in your daily life so I can't prove or disprove that - but what I do know is that if you aren't careful, you will develop a persecution complex.

religion - in the hands of rational people is fine, in the hands of irrational people it is quite simply dangerous. you can't let a book dictate your life, it just isn't relevant to anything. this seems to me as if it was made purely to make people angry at muslims (but then again this is the BBC filming muslims in luton home of the EDL no less) and i also noticed that the poster of the video was called burnislamburnallah (how unbiased). it is doing nothing more than making people angry at each other. and it's working. i just think that we won't truly be civilised as long as we continue to entertain religion, wars, capital punishment and use money etc etc. only when all that is gone will we truly be civilised.

I'm not even lying when I tell you, just this once I had to travel across Birmingham to get to the TA office which is located in Alum Rock/Small Heath.

You need to separate the Muslims, from the Islamic Extremists and the Sharia Law bunch. Muslims are not the problem, but I agree fully the small percentage who are a problem are likely the ones causing the issues.

I have quite a few Muslim acquaintances here and none of them are into the radical aspects of the Muslim Faith. They came here to get away from them in fact.

The church I grew up in is now a fricken mosque! Every shop looks like it came directly out of Pakistan.. I took my missuses kids to cannon hill park last weekend.. The little fella was disappointed to find out that those ladies in burqas were NOT ninjas, after commenting and being excited that the park was full of ninjas! (that was embarrassing and funny)...

We do need to put a stop to this if we are to retain our country..

While I usually do not subscribe to or condone any type of hate towards a group of people - I strongly believe in live and let live as long as "NONE ARE HARMED".

That, to me is the main rule and all children should be loved, cherished and treated with respect.

The video is very scary.

While I believe in religious freedom (I am not religious, spiritual yes, religious NO) Again, on many levels this video and the Mosque going up all over in my little corner of the Midwest USA is scary.

If the Muslims are willing to live and let live - then I wish them well and welcome.

If they (or anyone) tries to shove their religion down my throat I do not wish them welcome with open arms.

I dress modestly, I'm an old lady so my jeans, a pretty tunic top and grippy sneakers are my choice for normal street wear.

American Women (I can only speak for American Women - have never lived anywhere else) are so very lucky that we do have a choice as to what we can wear, who we can date, to divorce and take to court an abusive spouse.

When any group becomes the majority, usually their customs and practices become the "standard".

The video was upsetting because, if Muslims, when they reach that critical number of "many" do become more openly forceful, there will be again more hatred, more violence and more bloodshed.
