Thanks for posting that. I knew this article existed, I was just having troubles searching through all the others to find this one.

Did you read the whole article?

I found it particularly interesting how it explains it's not realistic the way Zimmerman describes it.

I liked where they said it was reported he had blood in or on his nose and then implied there was no treatment for a broken nose reported.
Doesn't that say it all for this report?
They quote about a bloodied nose and then imply it was broken hellooooooo mcflyyyyyyy. Are you listening?
who reported that it was a broken nose? the reporters only?

Both Zimmerman and his attorney have been quoted saying Zimmerman had a broken nose in various articles.

"George Zimmerman suffered a broken nose, and had an injury to the back of his head, he was attacked by Trayvon Martin on that evening," Sonner said. "This was a case of self defense."

I have a serious question. If we are to believe Martin's family about him going to get skittles, soda, and talking to his girlfriend on his cell phone, why was Martin a John Doe for 3 days?

Did his girlfriend he was supposedly talking to on the phone not report what happened, for 3 days?
Did his family not care that after he went out for skittles, they didn't hear back from him within 3 days?
Sorry but I'm having a hard time believing their story about Martin just going to the store to pick some stuff up.

Trayvon was reported missing by his mother, yet his body was left in the morgue for three days classified as “John Doe,” ABC News reports. This report conflicts with an interview PEOPLE did with Trayvon's father, Tracy Martin - see below.

According to the ABC News article, the family said officers didn’t bother to ask neighbors if they recognized Trayvon, who had been staying with his father who lives in the neighborhood where he was shot.

Police reportedly had Trayvon’s cellphone in their possession yet they alledgedly made no attempts to call his friends or family whose numbers could have been retrieved from his phone. According to his girlfriend, she and Trayvon were talking on the phone moments before he was shot and killed by 28-year-old neighborhood watch captain, George Zimmerman.

The police are the one's that never attempted to identify Martin, not his parents or anyone else.

Oh, look at what I found. Yet another inconsistency in Zimmerman's initial story. Now, he stated to his father who proceeded to report to FOX news in Orlando,

Robert Zimmerman said that his son, George Zimmerman, 28, then called a non-emergency number to report this stranger. He lost sight of the teen as he looked for an address to report to police, Robert Zimmerman told the FOX affiliate.
“It’s my understanding that at that point Trayvon Martin walked up to him, asked him, ‘Do you have a – beep – problem?’ George said ‘No, I don’t have a problem’.”
The elder Zimmerman said that as his son started to reach for his cell phone, Martin, 17, punched him in the nose, knocking the larger man to the pavement.
“Trayvon Martin got on top of him and just started beating him, in the face, in his nose, hitting his head on the concrete,” Robert Zimmerman said.

So, now Martin attacked Zimmerman while Zimmerman was reaching for his cell phone?? This is about the 4th or 5th story change I've heard from Zimmerman. Dude seriously can't keep his story straight.

Elder Zimmerman (Georges father) goes on to state that Martin's girlfriend was lying when she said she was on the phone with Martin during this altercation, even though phone records prove this phone call took place at that time.

When the interviewer asked about Martin’s girlfriend, who said that he told her that he was being followed, Robert Zimmerman said he didn’t believe her.
He replied: “I don't believe she was on the phone with him, and I find it very strange with the publicity involved with this that all of the sudden, after three weeks, someone would remember that they were on the phone. I believe the FBI and others investigating this will find that that did not happen.”

Looks like poor Zimmerman needs daddy dearest to stick up for him.

The Bastard murdered Trayvon.

Way to jump to a conclusion before all facts are known. The Police do not make false reports up all the time you know. Did you even wonder why he is not wearing his RED SHIRT he had on when the police went to investigate? He had to change clothes because he is wearing A BLUE SHIRT. The police seized his shirt as possible evidence, and since he lived right around there they got him another shirt. Its easy to not have BLOOD ON A CLEAN SHIRT if the paramedics already cleaned you up to avoid possible blood bourne diseases spreading or getting all over stuff. Liquid stiches are wonderful tools dont ya know. Anyway the video is showing a inconsistency with the police reports with him wearing a diffrent color shirt and after being cleaned up.

Actually in the video he is wearing a red shirt, well pinkish red, with darker shoulders and a greyish t-shirt underneath.

I've listened to all the 911 recordings online, watched the video's (the police surveillance one MANY times) and read every article I can find about this and my personal opinion after all my research is that this needs to be investigated further, and possibly by officials outside of the community as there are questions being raised about police bias. Now don't misread that police bias part as racial bias, It's been mentioned in articles that his father was a judge, and it is not unheard of for people with similar connections to "take care" of each other.

I started really delving into this after first seeing the thread proclaiming Zimmerman innocent and that Martin had attacked him, only to be followed up later with the police surveillance video which seemed to contradict the previous claims.

The initial police report noted that Zimmerman was bleeding from the back of the head and nose, and after medical attention it was decided that he was in good enough condition to travel in a police cruiser to the Sanford, Fla., police station for questioning.
According to Zimmerman's attorney

His lawyer later insisted that Zimmerman's nose had been broken in his scuffle with 17-year-old Martin.
source

Zimmerman’s attorney Craig Sonner has told television networks that the neighborhood watch volunteer’s nose was broken and he was left with a gash on the back of his head that would have required stitches had he gone to the doctor in time.
source

The police report states

While I was in such close contact with Zimmerman I could observe that his back appeared to be wet and was covered in grass as if he had been laying on his back on the ground. Zimmerman was also bleeding from the nose and back of his head.
source

In the police surveillance video Mr. Zimmerman is still wearing the red jacket that is described in the police report, which is logical. While the emt's might clean and bandage his wounds it is highly unlikely that he would be allowed to go home, shower and change before being taken into custody for questioning. Now I don't know how many of you have actually experienced a broken nose, but I can tell you from personal experience the bleeding is horrendous and does not stop quickly like just an average dry air bloody nose. One could expect to end up with the front of their shirt and possibly sleeves drenched with blood in no time. But watching the surveillance video there was no noticeable blood, let alone the volumes that would proceed a broken nose on his shirt. Now there have been comments about it being difficult to see his head, but if you watch the video starting at about 56 second in when he goes and stands by the wall you are able to get a good view from pretty near all sides. Other than one spot that appears to be normal balding I could not find any signs of injury. From that point forward as he is escorted into the interrogation room the view of the the back of his shirt is quite clear, with no signs of wetness or grass/grass stains on it. Nothing about that video portrays the image of Mr. Zimmerman being beaten by Martin as previously described.

In listening to Zimmerman's 911 call regarding a suspicious person despite what some have posted he twice stated that Martin was black, he also immediately concluded that he was on drugs or "up to something". He told the police that Martin was near the clubhouse and apparently was close enough to him to be able to read a button he was wearing because he told the operator he had a button on that said "Lick Me". He told them to have the officers meet him near the clubhouse initially the address of 111 Retreat View Circle, the police report shows it correctly as 1111 Retreat View Circle. He then said that Martin was approaching him, and then told the officer these a...holes always get away, and described Martin as heading toward the back entrance of the complex. It is obvious by his breathing and the wind noises on the phone that Zimmerman is in pursuit and the officer asks him if he is pursuing Martin and when Zimmerman tells him that he is the officer tells him "we don't need you to do that" but by the heavier breathing and wind noise it is obvious he continued to pursue Martin.

Running out of room more to come....

In addition to the obvious phone noises indicating he was in pursuit, although Mr. Zimmerman initially told them to have the officers meet him at 1111 Retreat View Circle near the club house and mailboxes, prior to ending the call he instructed them to call him when they got there so he could tell him where he was.

Reading the police report there are 4 addresses given. The address of the incident listed as 2831 Retreat View Circle, the address the police were initially supposed to meet Mr. Zimmerman at 1111 Retreat View Circle and 2 addresses that people had called 911 from reporting the shooting. Those two addresses were 1231 Twin Trees Lane and 2821 Retreat View Circle. With the help of Google maps I plugged those addresses in to get an idea of the terrain and chase and this is what I found

On the upper left, the red smudge is the initial address Zimmerman gave the operator as to where Martin was, and where they initially were to have met him when they arrived. The red arrows at C and D are the approximate locations of two of the 911 callers both of whom described the incident as taking place in their yard or back yard. B which you can barely see for the red smudge is the incident address which basically based on available information translates to that X between C and D, where Martin was found dead. If you look below the X you will see a red heart, this is approximately where Martin's father lived and where he was going. Now first off that is quite a chase for Mr. Zimmerman....remember he told the operator he was chasing Martin....later he claimed Martin attacked him from behind.....but the 911 call contradicts that. So he saw Martin at A was close enough to read a button he was wearing that said "lick me", Martin came towards him.....which considering where "home" was would be in the same general direction. He stated that Martin was running away from him and that he was pursuing him...and then suddenly Martin is behind him punching him in the nose....from behind him...and banging his head into the concrete? I am having a hard time buying this.

Zimmerman's father has said that Martin's girlfriend probably lied about talking to him on his cell phone right up until the incident, but phone records show that he is incorrect and she is not lying. 2 Neighbors have claimed that they heard Martin screaming for help and have tried to speak with the authorities but have been blown off and discredited. I myself don't know what Martin's voice sounded like but I did hear Mr. Zimmerman's voice and listening to the 911 call with the screams for help the screams sound younger, higher pitched,

Although it was legal for him to carry a gun, it was not advocated by his Neighborhood watch group, they watch and call the authorities, I've been there and done that too. With Mr. Zimmerman pursuing Martin from the A on the map all the way to that red X between C and D where the confrontation and shooting took place, logically it would appear that Mr. Zimmerman was the aggressor.

Now I know that a lot of people are focusing on the racial aspects of this case and I would like to say something about that, If it is in fact found that Mr. Zimmerman acted illegally, and even if it is found that his actions were racially motivated, this should not be used as a wide brush to drive wedges between people. Heh as the Jackson 5 said....."one bad apple don't spoil the whole bunch"

Any person who considers it acceptable to inflict harm on another human being for no greater reason than because they look different, dress different, have different beliefs, finances, disabilities, abilities and so forth...is just evil. Calling them racist might get some people worked up but it also divides people....call it for what it is..self-centered, egotistical, evil.

I have had enough of this. I am going to wait until all the evidence is revealed and then come back and give my opinion then. There is too much going on here to even make a point. If you guys want to keep arguing over something that was self defense be my guest. If you are going to murder someone you dont call 911. The dude only guilty of being stupid and walking around in my opinion. Still my opinion means nothing until after the judgement of the states courts is made as well as every other persons opinion here. I can see the new holiday going to be called Travon day coming down the road now especially if they dont prosecute zimmerman.

I am just hoping that they do investigate it preferably with outside authorities that might not be "buddies" with the local law enforcement, and give it a fair trial. The distance Zimmerman chased Martin I found disturbing especially after he was told not to.

It is unfortunate but there are times and places where with those with ties to members of the authoritative powers will be protected from investigation at the expense of the victims,

Hold on a second, first you say you're going to wait until all the evidence comes out then give your opinion, but then you proceed to give your opinion and have your mind made up about Zimmerman's story being true and him only being guilty of stupidity?

You completely contradicted yourself and already have your mind made up about the case, believing Zimmerman's ever-changing story. So, answer me this, why are you going to come back after the evidence is revealed when you already have your mind made up?

Following someone is not illegal. Asking them what they are doing is not illegal. Carrying a gun was not illegal in this case. If Trayvon attacked Zimmerman and was beating him on the ground, smashing his head he was the aggressor and the shooting was justifiable. If he went for his gun the shooting was justifiable. I think Zimmerman is an idiot, but there is no law against that.

This looks like a bunch of "if's" that can be switched around to make it as you want...

Stalking someone is illegal, trying to detain them is illegal. If Zimmer even laid one hand on the kid it becomes battery. If someone was stalking you, called out for you to stop and started to approach you, you would be startled. If not scared and confused. Then if said person grabbed you as you turned to get away, you would defend yourself too, and may even scream out "I'm going to kill you" in fear of them causing harm to you. Then you see the person has a gun? The only thing going through anyone's mind at that time you would think would be "it's him or me".

The "if" card can be played many ways...

Zimmer is an idiot for sure... Murder? Well that's not for me to decide...

Because my OPINION does not count correct? My personal views can be swayed only by a final judgement, but I think he will not be tried. Im so sorry to contradict myself. Sheesh marmaduke. I only look at the facts as they are out so far,and there is enough contradiction to make me think not worth a trial. Dont read too much into it dont want to give you a anuerism.

Even more evidence that treyvon was the agressor
attacking zimmerman!!
WE KNOW there was an altercation before the shooting
witnesses saw treyvon on top of zimmerman before the shooting attacking him,
this just further proves that treyvon attacked zimmerman. Of course treyvon
has no marks or bruises because zimmerman did nothing to him until
he was in fear for his life being attacked by treyvon

You realize that damns Zimmerman further right? No signs of struggle on either of them points towards murder, not self defense, not manslaughter...murder.

It must be so frustrating for you not to be able to link directly to Stormfront.

So we put Zimmerman on trial like the minority population wants us to. He will be acquitted and they will still riot and retaliate, again, like they always do. I find it ironic that day in and day out they are killing each other like its free but when it comes to someone that was killed 1000 miles away and it really doesn't affect their community one bit they have a hoodie rally. They did this very thing in Detroit.

That is one culture that has its priorities in the gutter when it comes to stuff like this. I have no sympathy for an opportunistic culture that displays so much symbolism over substance. We can see it in this very thread where members of that culture refuse to think logically about their own community situation. They probably live 1000 miles away from this incident but on the next block some 5 year old is being murdered in a drive by.
